International Mother Language Day 2020
The International Mother Language Day is celebrated on 21 February.
This year, the UNESCO Chair in World Linguistic Heritage wanted to approach the Arratia Secondary School to reflect on the importance of this day.
At the Arratia Secondary School, as in many other schools, we have a great linguistic diversity and, therefore, we wanted to propose an activity to the students:
We gave them a drawing of a doll and asked them to paint the different languages they speak inside the doll.
Do you know how many colours they used and where they put their mother tongue?
Do you want to see the result?
