Foundations of PhDing 2020: Measurement and Measuring for Researchers

PhD training for today’s PhD students; tomorrow’s researchers
Two Foundations of PhDing Seminars for small mixed-discipline groups of PhD students, the first on Measurement and Measuring for Researchers, and the second one on Models and Modelling for Researchers (also offered by the school).
The seminar runs for three weeks, with one three-hour class per week, and will be conducted in English.
Online:
Online classes using the Blackboard Collaborate system (eGela Pi).
Group size:
A minimum of 10 students is needed to run the seminar and there is a maximum of 20 students in each group.
Requirements:
Students will be expected to attend 100% of the classes.
Duration:
The course runs for three weeks, with one three-hour class per week (9 hours).
Time: 10:00 to 13:00
