The Spanish Region of the International Biometric Society is proud to sponsor the "Mª Jesús Bayarri"* Award for the best Bayesian application among contributions presented at the XVth Spanish Biometric Conference and the Vth Ibero-American Biometric Meeting (CEB-EIB 2015).

Those interested in applying for this award should state it in when sending the abstract of their work.

Applying works will be evaluated by the EIB CEB- 2015 Scientific Committee in collaboration with the Spanish Region of the International Biometric Society and resolution will be announced during the event.

* Maria Jesús Bayarri García, known as Susie Bayarri, died in August 2014 after a long battle with cancer. It was an exceptional scientific recognized internationally as one of the most prominent figures in Bayesian Statistics. She chaired the Spanish Region of the International Biometric Society from 2001-2003, contributing greatly to the projection of the Society.
