Basque (Euskara) is, together with Spanish, the official language of the Basque Autonomous Community, and you will hear it a lot in public places. Through this course we offer you the possibility of experiencing a unique immersion in order to get to know Euskara and everything that it implies: the language, the society and the culture of such an ancient and multicultural country.

Through theoretical seminars and practical activities you will be able to acquire the basics of the Basque language which will allow you to begin to communicate in everyday activities.

Both the theoretical seminars and the practical activities will take place from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 13.00/13:30 (apart from 12 September), comprising 20 class hours. Through the practical activities, as well as internalising the theoretical content, you will get to know the past and present Basque Country, our ancestral traditions and top-notch innovative endeavours. You will go shopping in the traditional Brecha Market or you will play Basque pelota, among other suggestions.
