' You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I [am] the LORD.

"No os volváis a los encantadores ni a los adivinos; no los consultéis, contaminándoos con ellos. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

Ne vous tournez point vers ceux qui évoquent les esprits, ni vers les devins; ne les recherchez point, de peur de vous souiller avec eux. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

' Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I [am] the LORD your God.

' You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I [am] the LORD.

"Ez erabili gaizki zuen lurraldera bizitzera etorritako atzerritarra.

"Cuando el extranjero habite con vosotros en vuestra tierra, no lo oprimiréis.

Si un étranger vient séjourner avec vous dans votre pays, vous ne l'opprimerez point.

' And if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him.

Bertako bat bezala, zuetako bat bailitzan, hartuko duzue etorkina eta zeuen burua bezala maitatuko, etorkin izan baitzineten zeuek ere Egipton. Neu naiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa.

Como a uno de vosotros trataréis al extranjero que habite entre vosotros, y lo amarás como a ti mismo, porque extranjeros fuisteis en la tierra de Egipto. Yo, Jehová, vuestro Dios.

Vous traiterez l'étranger en séjour parmi vous comme un indigène du milieu de vous; vous l'aimerez comme vous-mêmes, car vous avez été étrangers dans le pays d'Égypte. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

'The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.

' You shall do no injustice in judgment, in measurement of length, weight, or volume.

Balantza zuzenak, pisu zuzenak eta neurri zuzenak erabiliko dituzue. Neu naiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa, Egiptotik atera zintuztena.

Balanzas justas, pesas justas y medidas justas tendréis. Yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto.

Vous aurez des balances justes, des poids justes, des épha justes et des hin justes. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte.

'You shall have honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I [am] the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

"Guardad, pues, todos mis estatutos y todas mis ordenanzas, y ponedlos por obra. Yo, Jehová".

' Therefore you shall observe all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them: I [am] the LORD.' "

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Esan israeldarrei: Norbaitek, israeldarra nahiz Israelen bizi den etorkina izan, seme-alabaren bat Molok jainkoari oparitan eskaintzen badio, heriotza-zigorra izango du: harrika hilko du herriko jendeak.

"Dirás asimismo a los hijos de Israel: "Cualquier hombre de los hijos de Israel, o de los extranjeros que habitan en Israel, que ofrezca alguno de sus hijos a Moloc, de seguro morirá: el pueblo de la tierra lo apedreará.

Tu diras aux enfants d'Israël: Si un homme des enfants d'Israël ou des étrangers qui séjournent en Israël livre à Moloc l'un de ses enfants, il sera puni de mort: le peuple du pays le lapidera.

"Again, you shall say to the children of Israel: 'Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives [any] of his descendants to Molech, he shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Neure aldetik, aurpegi emango diot horrelakoari eta herritik bota egingo dut, bere semea nahiz alaba eskaintzean nire santutegia kutsatu baitu eta nire izen santua profanatu.

'I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given [some] of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.

Eta herriko jendeak ezikusia egiten badu, hori egin duena heriotzara ez ematearren,

Si el pueblo de la tierra cierra sus ojos respecto de aquel hombre que dio uno de sus hijos a Moloc, para no matarlo,

Si le peuple du pays détourne ses regards de cet homme, qui livre de ses enfants à Moloc, et s'il ne le fait pas mourir,

'And if the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives [some] of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him,

neuk esku hartuko dut haren kontra eta haren familiaren kontra: bota egingo ditut herritik, bai bera, bai berarekin batera Moloki kultua emanez desleial izango zaizkidan guztiak.

'then I will set My face against that man and against his family; and I will cut him off from his people, and all who prostitute themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech.

"Aurpegi emango diot hilazti eta igarleengana jotzen duenari ere eta bota egingo dut herritik, idolatriaren pareko baita jokaera hori.

"La persona que preste atención a encantadores o adivinos, para prostituirse detrás de ellos, yo pondré mi rostro contra la tal persona, y la eliminaré de su pueblo.

Si quelqu'un s'adresse aux morts et aux esprits, pour se prostituer après eux, je tournerai ma face contre cet homme, je le retrancherai du milieu de son peuple.

' And the person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people.

"Gorde garbi zeuen burua, santu izan zaitezten, neu bainaiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa.

"Santificaos, pues, y sed santos, porque yo, Jehová, soy vuestro Dios.

Vous vous sanctifierez et vous serez saints, car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

'Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I [am] the LORD your God.

"Bete arretaz nire legeak. Neu naiz Jauna, neuretzat sagaratu zaituztena.

Guardad mis estatutos y ponedlos por obra. Yo soy Jehová, el que os santifico.

Vous observerez mes lois, et vous les mettrez en pratique. Je suis l'Éternel, qui vous sanctifie.

' And you shall keep My statutes, and perform them: I [am] the LORD who sanctifies you.

"Aita nahiz ama madarikatzen duenak heriotza-zigorra izango du. Gurasoak madarikatu dituenez gero, berea izango du heriotzaren errua.

"Todo hombre que maldiga a su padre o a su madre, de cierto morirá, pues a su padre o a su madre maldijo: su sangre caerá sobre él.

Si un homme quelconque maudit son père ou sa mère, il sera puni de mort; il a maudit son père ou sa mère: son sang retombera sur lui.

'For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood [shall be] upon him.

"Norbaitek beste baten emaztearekin adulterioa egiten badu, heriotza-zigorra izango dute bi errudunek.

"Si un hombre comete adulterio con la mujer de su prójimo, el adúltero y la adúltera indefectiblemente serán muertos.

Si un homme commet un adultère avec une femme mariée, s'il commet un adultère avec la femme de son prochain, l'homme et la femme adultères seront punis de mort.

'The man who commits adultery with [another] man's wife, [he] who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress, shall surely be put to death.

"Norbait aitaren emazte batekin oheratzen bada, aita desohoratzen du: heriotza-zigorra izango dute bi errudunek. Berena izango dute heriotzaren errua.

"Cualquiera que se acueste con la mujer de su padre, la desnudez de su padre descubrió; ambos han de ser muertos: su sangre caerá sobre ellos.

Si un homme couche avec la femme de son père, et découvre ainsi la nudité de son père, cet homme et cette femme seront punis de mort: leur sang retombera sur eux.

'The man who lies with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death. Their blood [shall be] upon them.

"Norbait errainarekin oheratzen bada, heriotza-zigorra izango dute bi errudunek. Berena izango dute heriotzaren errua, egin duten ustelkeriagatik.

"Si alguien duerme con su nuera, ambos han de morir; cometieron grave perversión: su sangre caerá sobre ellos.

Si un homme couche avec sa belle-fille, ils seront tous deux punis de mort; ils ont fait une confusion: leur sang retombera sur eux.

'If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood [shall be] upon them.

"Norbait emakumeekin ohi bezala gizonezkoarekin oheratzen bada, higuingarrikeria egiten dute biek: heriotza-zigorra izango dute. Berena izango dute heriotzaren errua.

"Si alguien se acuesta con otro hombre como se hace con una mujer, abominación hicieron; ambos han de ser muertos: sobre ellos caerá su sangre.

Si un homme couche avec un homme comme on couche avec une femme, ils ont fait tous deux une chose abominable; ils seront punis de mort: leur sang retombera sur eux.

'If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood [shall be] upon them.

"Norbait emakume batekin eta beronen amarekin ezkontzen bada, itsuskeria egiten du: erre egingo dituzte bera eta bi emakumeak. Ez da horrelako itsuskeriarik izango zuen artean.

"El que tome como esposas a una mujer y a la madre de ella, comete vileza. Tanto él como ellas serán quemados, para que no haya tal vileza entre vosotros.

Si un homme prend pour femmes la fille et la mère, c'est un crime: on les brûlera au feu, lui et elles, afin que ce crime n'existe pas au milieu de vous.

'If a man marries a woman and her mother, it [is] wickedness. They shall be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you.

"Norbaitek abere batekin haragizko bekatua egiten badu, heriotza-zigorra izango du, eta aberea ere hil egingo dute.

"Cualquiera que tenga cópula con una bestia, ha de ser muerto. También mataréis a la bestia.

Si un homme couche avec une bête, il sera puni de mort; et vous tuerez la bête.

'If a man mates with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal.

Era berean, emakumea abere batekin elkarbatzen bada, heriotzara emango dituzte emakumea eta aberea. Berena izango dute heriotzaren errua.

"Si una mujer se acerca a algún animal para ayuntarse con él, a la mujer y al animal matarás; morirán indefectiblemente: su sangre caerá sobre ellos.

Si une femme s'approche d'une bête, pour se prostituer à elle, tu tueras la femme et la bête; elles seront mises à mort: leur sang retombera sur elles.

'If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood [is] upon them.

"Norbait bere arrebaordearekin, aitaren nahiz amaren alabarekin, ezkontzen bada eta sexu-harremanak badituzte, lotsagarrikeria egiten dute eta herriaren begi-bistan zigortuko dituzte. Bere arrebaordearekin sexu-harremanak dituenak bere erruaren ondorenak jasan beharko ditu.

"Si alguno toma a su hermana, hija de su padre o hija de su madre, y ve su desnudez, y ella ve la suya, es cosa execrable; por tanto serán muertos a ojos de los hijos de su pueblo; descubrió la desnudez de su hermana: cargará con su pecado.

Si un homme prend sa soeur, fille de son père ou fille de sa mère, s'il voit sa nudité et qu'elle voie la sienne, c'est une infamie; ils seront retranchés sous les yeux des enfants de leur peuple: il a découvert la nudité de sa soeur, il portera la peine de son péché.

'If a man takes his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter, and sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it [is] a wicked thing. And they shall be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness. He shall bear his guilt.

"Norbaitek hilerokoa duen emakumearekin oheratu eta sexu-harremanak baditu, agerian jartzen du -eta emakumeak berak ere bai- odol-jarioaren iturria. Beraz, herritik bota egingo dituzte.

Si un homme couche avec une femme qui a son indisposition, et découvre sa nudité, s'il découvre son flux, et qu'elle découvre le flux de son sang, ils seront tous deux retranchés du milieu de leur peuple.

'If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from their people.

"Ez izan sexu-harremanik ez aitaren arrebarekin, ez amaren ahizparekin. Odol berekoak direnez gero, beren erruaren ondorenak jasan beharko dituzte biek.

"La desnudez de la hermana de tu madre o de la hermana de tu padre, no descubrirás, porque al descubrir la desnudez de su parienta, cargarán con su pecado.

Tu ne découvriras point la nudité de la soeur de ta mère, ni de la soeur de ton père, car c'est découvrir sa proche parente: ils porteront la peine de leur péché.

'You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister nor of your father's sister, for that would uncover his near of kin. They shall bear their guilt.

"Norbait izebarekin oheratzen bada, osaba desohoratzen du. Beren bekatuaren ondorenak jasan beharko dituzte: seme-alabarik gabe hilko dira.

"Cualquiera que duerma con la mujer del hermano de su padre, la desnudez del hermano de su padre descubrió; cargarán con su pecado: morirán sin hijos.

Si un homme couche avec sa tante, il a découvert la nudité de son oncle; ils porteront la peine de leur péché, ils mourront sans enfant.

'If a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness. They shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

"Norbait koinatarekin ezkontzen bada, nazkagarrikeria egiten du; anaia desohoratu duenez gero, ez dute ondorengorik izango.

"El que tome la mujer de su hermano, comete impureza; la desnudez de su hermano descubrió: no tendrán hijos.

Si un homme prend la femme de son frère, c'est une impureté; il a découvert la nudité de son frère: ils seront sans enfant.

'If a man takes his brother's wife, it [is] an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother's nakedness. They shall be childless.

"Bete arretaz nire lege eta erabaki guztiak. Horrela, bizitzera eramango zaituztedan lurraldeak ez zaituzte okaztatu eta kanpora botako.

"Guardad, pues, todos mis estatutos y todas mis ordenanzas, y ponedlos por obra, no sea que os vomite la tierra en la cual yo os introduzco para que habitéis en ella.

Vous observerez toutes mes lois et toutes mes ordonnances, et vous les mettrez en pratique, afin que le pays où je vous mène pour vous y établir ne vous vomisse point.

' You shall therefore keep all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out.

Ez bizi zuen aurretik botatzen ditudan herrien legeen arabera; horrelako gauzak egin dituztelako, hain zuzen, ezin jasan izan ditut.

No andéis en las prácticas de las naciones que yo expulsaré de delante de vosotros, porque ellos hicieron todas estas cosas, y fueron para mí abominables.

Vous ne suivrez point les usages des nations que je vais chasser devant vous; car elles ont fait toutes ces choses, et je les ai en abomination.

'And you shall not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them.

Zuei, berriz, haien lurraldearen jabe izango zaretela hitz eman dizuet. Neuk emango dizuet jabetzan eztia eta esnea darizkion lurralde hori. "Neu naiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa, beste herrietatik bereizi zaituztena.

Pero a vosotros os he dicho: "Vosotros poseeréis la tierra de ellos, y yo os la daré para que la poseáis por heredad, tierra que fluye leche y miel". "Yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os he apartado de los demás pueblos.

Je vous ai dit: C'est vous qui posséderez leur pays; je vous en donnerai la possession: c'est un pays où coulent le lait et le miel. Je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu, qui vous ai séparés des peuples.

'But I have said to you, "You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey." I [am] the LORD your God, who has separated you from the peoples.

Beraz, zuek ere bereizi egingo dituzue abere garbiak kutsatuetatik, hegazti garbiak kutsatuetatik. Ez dezazuela bihur zeuen burua higuingarri, abereak, hegaztiak eta narrasta dabiltzan piztiak direla eta; neuk egin dut bereizketa, kutsatuak zeintzuk diren jakin dezazuen.

Por tanto, vosotros haréis distinción entre animal limpio e inmundo, y entre ave inmunda y limpia. No contaminéis vuestras personas con los animales, ni con las aves, ni con nada que se arrastra sobre la tierra, los cuales os he apartado por inmundos.

Vous observerez la distinction entre les animaux purs et impurs, entre les oiseaux purs et impurs, afin de ne pas rendre vos personnes abominables par des animaux, par des oiseaux, par tous les reptiles de la terre, que je vous ai appris à distinguer comme impurs.

'You shall therefore distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you shall not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

"Izan zaitezte niretzat sagaratuak, ni, Jauna, santua bainaiz, eta herri guztien artetik bereizi baitzaituztet nireak izateko.

Habéis, pues, de serme santos, porque yo, Jehová, soy santo, y os he apartado de entre los pueblos para que seáis míos.

Vous serez saints pour moi, car je suis saint, moi, l'Éternel; je vous ai séparés des peuples, afin que vous soyez à moi.

'And you shall be holy to Me, for I the LORD [am] holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

"Hilazti- edo igarle-lanbidea duen gizonak nahiz emakumeak heriotza-zigorra izango du: harrika hilko dituzte. Berena izango dute heriotzaren errua".

"El hombre o la mujer que consulten espíritus de muertos o se entreguen a la adivinación, han de morir; serán apedreados, y su sangre caerá sobre ellos".

Si un homme ou une femme ont en eux l'esprit d'un mort ou un esprit de divination, ils seront punis de mort; on les lapidera: leur sang retombera sur eux.

' A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, shall surely be put to death; they shall stone them with stones. Their blood [shall be] upon them.' "

Honela mintzatu zitzaion Jauna Moisesi: "Esan Aaronen seme apaizei: Ez bedi kutsa apaiza bere ahaideren baten gorpua ukituz,

Jehová dijo a Moisés: "Habla a los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, y diles que no se contaminen por un muerto en sus pueblos,

L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Parle aux sacrificateurs, fils d'Aaron, et tu leur diras: Un sacrificateur ne se rendra point impur parmi son peuple pour un mort,

And the LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 'None shall defile himself for the dead among his people,

'also his virgin sister who is near to him, who has had no husband, for her he may defile himself.

Bere senitartekoen buru delarik, apaizari ez zaio zilegi kutsatzea, desohoraturik geldi ez dadin.

No se contaminará como cualquier hombre de su pueblo, haciéndose impuro.

Chef parmi son peuple, il ne se rendra point impur en se profanant.

'[Otherwise] he shall not defile himself, [being] a chief man among his people, to profane himself.

Les sacrificateurs ne se feront point de place chauve sur la tête, ils ne raseront point les coins de leur barbe, et ils ne feront point d'incisions dans leur chair.

' They shall not make any bald [place] on their heads, nor shall they shave the edges of their beards nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

Beren Jainkoari sagaratuak behar dute izan eta haren izena profanatzetik alde egin, beraiei baitagokie Jaunarentzat erre beharreko opariak eskaintzea. Beraz, santu izan behar dute.

Santos serán para su Dios, y no profanarán el nombre de su Dios, porque ofrecen las ofrendas quemadas para Jehová y el pan de su Dios; por tanto, serán santos.

Ils seront saints pour leur Dieu, et ils ne profaneront pas le nom de leur Dieu; car ils offrent à l'Éternel les sacrifices consumés par le feu, l'aliment de leur Dieu: ils seront saints.

'They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire, [and] the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.

"Ez dute emaztetzat hartuko emagaldu edo desohoratua izandako emakumerik, ezta senarrak zapuztutakorik ere, apaizak Jainkoari sagaratuak baitaude.

"Con una mujer ramera o infame no se casarán, ni con una mujer repudiada por su marido, porque el sacerdote está consagrado a su Dios.

Ils ne prendront point une femme prostituée ou déshonorée, ils ne prendront point une femme répudiée par son mari, car ils sont saints pour leur Dieu.

'They shall not take a wife [who is] a harlot or a defiled woman, nor shall they take a woman divorced from her husband; for [the priest] is holy to his God.

Israeldar orok errespetatuko du apaizen izaera sakratua, beraiek eskaintzen baitute Jainkoaren oparia. Sakratutzat edukiko dituzte, santua bainaiz ni, Jauna, neuretzat sagaratzen ditudana.

Por tanto, lo santificarás, pues el pan de tu Dios ofrece; santo será para ti, porque santo soy yo, Jehová, el que os santifico.

Tu regarderas un sacrificateur comme saint, car il offre l'aliment de ton Dieu; il sera saint pour toi, car je suis saint, moi, l'Éternel, qui vous sanctifie.

'Therefore you shall consecrate him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the LORD, who sanctify you, [am] holy.

"Apaiz baten alabak bere burua desohoratzen badu, emagaldu bihurtuz, bere aita desohoratzen du: bizirik erreko dute.

"La hija del sacerdote, si comienza a prostituirse, a su padre deshonra; quemada será al fuego.

Si la fille d'un sacrificateur se déshonore en se prostituant, elle déshonore son père: elle sera brûlée au feu.

'The daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, she profanes her father. She shall be burned with fire.

"Apaiz nagusia apaizen buru da. Gantzuketa-olioa burura isuri ziotenean, apaizgoa hartu zuen eta jantzi sakratuak erabiltzen ditu. Hori dela eta, ez du ilea harro utziko, ezta arroparik urratuko ere;

"El sumo sacerdote entre sus hermanos, sobre cuya cabeza fue derramado el aceite de la unción, y que fue consagrado para llevar las vestiduras, no descubrirá su cabeza ni rasgará sus vestidos

Le sacrificateur qui a la supériorité sur ses frères, sur la tête duquel a été répandue l'huile d'onction, et qui a été consacré et revêtu des vêtements sacrés, ne découvrira point sa tête et ne déchirera point ses vêtements.

' [He who is] the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

ez da kutsatu bihurtuko hildakoren batengana hurbilduz, ezta aita edo ama izanik ere.

ni entrará donde haya alguna persona muerta; ni por su padre ni por su madre se contaminará.

Il n'ira vers aucun mort, il ne se rendra point impur, ni pour son père, ni pour sa mère.

'nor shall he go near any dead body, nor defile himself for his father or his mother;

Ez da toki sakratutik aterako, Jainkoaren santutegia profana ez dezan, gantzuketa-olioz Jainkoaren zerbitzurako sagaraturik baitago. Neu naiz Jauna.

No saldrá del santuario ni profanará el santuario de su Dios, porque tiene sobre él la consagración del aceite de la unción de su Dios. Yo, Jehová.

Il ne sortira point du sanctuaire, et ne profanera point le sanctuaire de son Dieu; car l'huile d'onction de son Dieu est une couronne sur lui. Je suis l'Éternel.

'nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God [is] upon him: I [am] the LORD.

"Apaiz nagusiak neskatxa birjina hartuko du emaztetzat,

"Tomará por esposa a una mujer virgen.

Il prendra pour femme une vierge.

'And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
