Jaunak erantzun: -Baldin berrogeita hamar errugabe aurkitzen baditut, haiengatik hiri osoari barkatuko diot.

Entonces respondió Jehová: -- Si encuentro en Sodoma cincuenta justos dentro de la ciudad, perdonaré a todo este lugar por amor a ellos.

Et l'Éternel dit: Si je trouve dans Sodome cinquante justes au milieu de la ville, je pardonnerai à toute la ville, à cause d'eux.

So the LORD said, "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes."

Abrahamek esan zion: -Hara, hauts eta errauts besterik ez naizen arren, ene jaun horri mintzatzera ausartzen naiz.

Abraham replicó y dijo: -- Te ruego, mi Señor, que me escuches, aunque soy polvo y ceniza.

Abraham reprit, et dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur, moi qui ne suis que poudre et cendre.

Then Abraham answered and said, "Indeed now, I who [am but] dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord:

Gerta daiteke berrogeita hamarrera iristeko bost falta izatea. Hiri osoa suntsituko ote duzu bost horiengatik? -Ez -erantzun zion Jaunak-, ez dut suntsituko, berrogeita bost errugabe aurkitzen baditut.

Quizá falten de cincuenta justos cinco: ¿destruirás por aquellos cinco toda la ciudad? Jehová respondió: -- No la destruiré, si encuentro allí cuarenta y cinco.

Peut-être des cinquante justes en manquera -t-il cinq: pour cinq, détruiras -tu toute la ville ? Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, si j'y trouve quarante -cinq justes.

"Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for [lack of] five?" So He said, "If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy [it."]

Eta Abrahamek, berriro: -Gerta daiteke berrogei besterik ez izatea. -Ba -ihardetsi zion Jaunak-, ez dut suntsituko berrogei horiengatik.

Volvió a hablarle Abraham: -- Quizá se encuentren allí cuarenta. -- No lo haré, por amor a los cuarenta -- dijo Jehová.

Abraham continua de lui parler, et dit: Peut-être s'y trouvera -t-il quarante justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, à cause de ces quarante.

And he spoke to Him yet again and said, "Suppose there should be forty found there?" So He said, "I will not do [it] for the sake of forty."

Abrahamek esan zion: -Ez zaitez haserre, ene Jauna, oraindik ere mintzatzen banatzaizu. Badaiteke hogeita hamar besterik ez izatea. -Ez dut suntsituko hogeita hamar aurkitzen baditut -erantzun zion Jaunak.

Abraham volvió a suplicar: -- No se enoje ahora mi Señor si le digo: quizá se encuentren allí treinta. -- No lo haré si encuentro allí treinta -- respondió Jehová.

Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je parlerai. Peut-être s'y trouvera -t-il trente justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, si j'y trouve trente justes.

Then he said, "Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?" So He said, "I will not do [it] if I find thirty there."

Abrahamek, berriro ere: -Badakit ausartegia naizela, baina badaiteke hogei besterik ez izatea. -Ez dut suntsituko hogei horiengatik -erantzun zion Jaunak.

Abraham insistió: -- Soy muy atrevido al hablar así a mi Señor, pero quizá se encuentren allí veinte. -- No la destruiré -- respondió -- , por amor a los veinte.

Abraham dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur. Peut-être s'y trouvera -t-il vingt justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces vingt.

And he said, "Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?" So He said, "I will not destroy [it] for the sake of twenty."

Eta Abrahamek, oraindik: -Ez haserre, Jauna, beste behin mintzatzen banatzaizu. Badaiteke hamar besterik ez izatea. Jaunak erantzun zion: -Ez dut suntsituko hamar horiengatik.

Volvió Abraham a decir: -- No se enoje ahora mi Señor; solo hablaré esta vez: quizá se encuentren allí diez. -- No la destruiré -- respondió Jehová -- , por amor a los diez.

Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je ne parlerai plus que cette fois. Peut-être s'y trouvera -t-il dix justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces dix justes.

Then he said, "Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?" And He said, "I will not destroy [it] for the sake of ten."

Abrahamekin mintzatzen amaitu ondoren, alde egin zuen Jaunak. Eta Abraham bere oihal-etxolara itzuli zen.

Luego que acabó de hablar a Abraham, Jehová se fue y Abraham volvió a su lugar.

L'Éternel s'en alla lorsqu 'il eut achevé de parler à Abraham. Et Abraham retourna dans sa demeure.

So the LORD went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.

Bi aingeruak Sodomara iritsi zirenean, arratsaldean, Lot hiriko sarreran eseria zegoen. Ikusi zitueneko, altxatu eta bidera atera zitzaien. Ahozpezturik,

Les deux anges arrivèrent à Sodome sur le soir; et Lot était assis à la porte de Sodome. Quand Lot les vit, il se leva pour aller au-devant d'eux, et se prosterna la face contre terre.

Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw [them,] he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.

esan zien: -Arren, ene jaunok, zatozte nire etxera, oinak garbitu eta gaua igaro dezazuen. Bihar, goizean goiz, zeuen bidaiari jarraituko diozue. Haiek erantzun zioten: -Ez! Nahiago dugu gaua plazan igaro.

y les dijo: -- Ahora, mis señores, os ruego que vengáis a casa de vuestro siervo para alojaros y lavar vuestros pies. Por la mañana os levantaréis y seguiréis vuestro camino. Ellos respondieron: -- No, esta noche nos quedaremos en la calle.

Puis il dit: Voici, mes seigneurs, entrez, je vous prie, dans la maison de votre serviteur, et passez-y la nuit; lavez -vous les pieds; vous vous lèverez de bon matin, et vous poursuivrez votre route. Non, répondirent -ils, nous passerons la nuit dans la rue.

And he said, "Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant's house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way." And they said, "No, but we will spend the night in the open square."

Baina Lotek hainbeste erregutu zienez gero, berarekin joan ziren etxera. Afaria prestatu zien, legamigabeko ogia errearaziz, eta afaldu egin zuten.

Pero Lot porfió tanto con ellos que fueron con él y entraron en su casa. Allí les hizo banquete, coció panes sin levadura y comieron.

Mais Lot les pressa tellement qu'ils vinrent chez lui et entrèrent dans sa maison. Il leur donna un festin, et fit cuire des pains sans levain. Et ils mangèrent.

But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Baina bisitariek oheratu baino lehen, Sodomako gizaseme guztiek, zahar eta gazte, hiritar guztiek, etxea inguratu zuten.

Pero, antes que se acostaran, rodearon la casa los hombres de la ciudad, los varones de Sodoma, todo el pueblo, desde el más joven hasta el más viejo.

Ils n'étaient pas encore couchés que les gens de la ville, les gens de Sodome, entourèrent la maison, depuis les enfants jusqu'aux vieillards; toute la population était accourue.

Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house.

Oihuka esan zioten Loti: -Non dituk bart etorri zaizkian gizonak? Atera itzak, bortxatu egin nahi dizkiagu eta!

Y llamaron a Lot, gritando: -- ¿Dónde están los hombres que vinieron a ti esta noche? Sácalos, para que los conozcamos.

Ils appelèrent Lot, et lui dirent: Où sont les hommes qui sont entrés chez toi cette nuit ? Fais-les sortir vers nous, pour que nous les connaissions.

And they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them [carnally."]

Lot atarira irten, bere atzean atea itxi

Entonces Lot salió a ellos a la puerta, cerró la puerta tras sí

Lot sortit vers eux à l'entrée de la maison, et ferma la porte derrière lui.

So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him,

eta esan zien: -Arren, anaiok, ez egin horrelako gaiztakeriarik!

y dijo: -- Os ruego, hermanos míos, que no hagáis tal maldad.

Et il dit: Mes frères, je vous prie, ne faites pas le mal !

and said, "Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly!

Hara, baditut oraindik birjina dauden bi alaba. Aterako dizkizuet zeuen gogora erabil ditzazuen. Gizaseme hauek, ordea, ez ukitu, ostatua eta babesa eman baitizkiet.

Mirad, yo tengo dos hijas que no han conocido varón; os las traeré y podréis hacer con ellas lo que bien os parezca; solamente que a estos varones no les hagáis nada, ya que han venido al amparo de mi tejado.

Voici, j'ai deux filles qui n'ont point connu d'homme; je vous les amènerai dehors, et vous leur ferez ce qu'il vous plaira. Seulement, ne faites rien à ces hommes puisqu'ils sont venus à l'ombre de mon toit.

"See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof."

-Alde hortik! -erantzun zioten-. Hara, gure artean atzerritar izan eta zer egin behar dugun erakutsi nahi ziguk! Horiei baino tratu txarragoa emango diagu heuri. Loten aurka oldartu ziren eta ateraino hurbildu, behera botatzeko asmoz.

Ellos respondieron: -- ¡Quítate de ahí! Y añadieron: -- Vino este extraño para habitar entre nosotros, ¿y habrá de erigirse en juez? Ahora te trataremos peor que a ellos. Enseguida comenzaron a forcejear con Lot, y se acercaron para romper la puerta.

Ils dirent: Retire -toi! Ils dirent encore: Celui-ci est venu comme étranger, et il veut faire le juge ! Eh bien, nous te ferons pis qu'à eux. Et, pressant Lot avec violence, ils s'avancèrent pour briser la porte.

And they said, "Stand back!" Then they said, "This one came in to stay [here,] and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them." So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.

Orduan, bisitariek heldu eta etxe barrura erakarri zuten Lot, eta atea itxi.

Pero los huéspedes alargaron la mano, metieron a Lot en la casa con ellos y cerraron la puerta.

Les hommes étendirent la main, firent rentrer Lot vers eux dans la maison, et fermèrent la porte.

But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.

Etxe atarian zeudenak, zahar nahiz gazte, itsuturik utzi zituzten. Alferrik jardun zuten ate bila.

Y a los hombres que estaban a la puerta de la casa los hirieron con ceguera, desde el menor hasta el mayor, de manera que se fatigaban buscando la puerta.

Et ils frappèrent d'aveuglement les gens qui étaient à l'entrée de la maison, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, de sorte qu'ils se donnèrent une peine inutile pour trouver la porte.

And they struck the men who [were] at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary [trying] to find the door.

Gizaseme haiek esan zioten Loti: "Nor duzu besterik hemen? Atera hiri honetatik zeure seme-alabak, suhigaiak eta bertan daukazun guztia,

Después dijeron los huéspedes a Lot: -- ¿Tienes aquí alguno más? Saca de este lugar a tus yernos, hijos e hijas, y todo lo que tienes en la ciudad,

Les hommes dirent à Lot: Qui as-tu encore ici ? Gendres, fils et filles, et tout ce qui t'appartient dans la ville, fais-les sortir de ce lieu.

Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city -- take [them] out of this place!

errautsi egin behar dugu eta. Handiak dira, izan ere, bertako bizilagunen aurka Jaunak jaso dituen salaketak, eta hiria erraustera bidali gaitu".

porque vamos a destruir este lugar, por cuanto el clamor contra la gente de esta ciudad ha subido de punto delante de Jehová. Por tanto, Jehová nos ha enviado a destruirla.

Car nous allons détruire ce lieu, parce que le cri contre ses habitants est grand devant l'Éternel. L'Éternel nous a envoyés pour le détruire.

"For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it."

Lotek suhigaien bila joan eta esan zien: "Ea, atera zaitezte hemendik, Jaunak errautsi egin behar baitu hiria". Baina haiek txantxetan ari zitzaiela pentsatu zuten.

Entonces salió Lot y habló a sus yernos, los que habían de tomar sus hijas, y les dijo: -- ¡Levantaos, salid de este lugar, porque Jehová va a destruir esta ciudad! Pero sus yernos pensaron que bromeaba.

Lot sortit, et parla à ses gendres qui avaient pris ses filles: Levez -vous, dit -il, sortez de ce lieu; car l'Éternel va détruire la ville. Mais, aux yeux de ses gendres, il parut plaisanter.

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, "Get up, get out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city!" But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.

Eguna argitzear zegoelarik, bisitariek presa eman zioten Loti, esanez: "Bizkor! Zoaz hemendik emazte eta alaba biekin; bestela, hiri honi ezarritako zigor berean hilko zara!"

Y al rayar el alba los ángeles daban prisa a Lot, diciendo: -- Levántate, toma a tu mujer y a tus dos hijas que se hallan aquí, para que no perezcas en el castigo de la ciudad.

Dès l'aube du jour, les anges insistèrent auprès de Lot, en disant: Lève -toi, prends ta femme et tes deux filles qui se trouvent ici, de peur que tu ne périsses dans la ruine de la ville.

When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, "Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city."

Eta, Lot nagi zebilela ikusirik, bisitariek indarrez atera zituzten bera, emaztea eta bi alabak, eta hiritik kanpo utzi, erruki izan baitzien Jaunak.

Como él se demoraba, los varones los asieron de la mano, a él, a su mujer y a sus dos hijas, según la misericordia de Jehová para con él; lo sacaron y lo pusieron fuera de la ciudad.

Et comme il tardait, les hommes le saisirent par la main, lui, sa femme et ses deux filles, car l'Éternel voulait l'épargner; ils l'emmenèrent, et le laissèrent hors de la ville.

And while he lingered, the men took hold of his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.

Hiritik kanpora eraman zituztenean, haietako batek esan zion: -Libra zaitezte! Ez begiratu atzera, ez gelditu ibar honetan. Ihes egizu mendira, hondamendian eror ez zaitezen.

Cuando ya estaban fuera, le dijeron: -- Escapa por tu vida; no mires atrás ni te detengas en ningún lugar de esta llanura; escapa al monte, no sea que perezcas.

Après les avoir fait sortir, l'un d'eux dit: Sauve -toi, pour ta vie; ne regarde pas derrière toi, et ne t'arrête pas dans toute la plaine; sauve -toi vers la montagne, de peur que tu ne périsses.

So it came to pass, when they had brought them outside, that he said, "Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed."

Lotek, ordea, erantzun: -Ez, arren, ene Jauna!

Pero Lot les dijo: -- No, yo os ruego, señores míos.

Lot leur dit: Oh! non, Seigneur !

Then Lot said to them, "Please, no, my lords!

Egiaz zure zerbitzari hau begiko izan duzu eta onginahi handia agertu didazu, bizirik gordez. Baina ez dut inolako salbabiderik mendian, hondamendiak harrapatu eta bidean hilko baininduke.

Vuestro siervo ha hallado gracia en vuestros ojos y habéis tenido mucha misericordia conmigo al salvarme la vida, pero no podré escapar al monte, no sea que me alcance el mal y muera.

Voici, j 'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, et tu as montré la grandeur de ta miséricorde à mon égard, en me conservant la vie; mais je ne puis me sauver à la montagne, avant que le désastre m'atteigne, et je périrai.

"Indeed now, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have increased your mercy which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, lest some evil overtake me and I die.

Ikusi herri koskor hura. Nahiko hurbil dago, bertan babesteko. Arren, uztazu herri txiki horretaraino joaten, eta bizirik aterako naiz.

Cerca de aquí hay una pequeña ciudad, a la cual puedo huir. Dejadme ir allá (¿no es en verdad pequeña?) y salvaré mi vida.

Voici, cette ville est assez proche pour que je m'y réfugie, et elle est petite. Oh! que je puisse m'y sauver,... n'est-elle pas petite ?... et que mon âme vive !

"See now, this city [is] near [enough] to flee to, and it [is] a little one; please let me escape there ([is] it not a little one?) and my soul shall live."

-Ea, bada -erantzun zion Jaunak-, emango dizut hori ere. Ez dut suntsituko aipatu didazun herrixka.

Uno de ellos le respondió: -- También he escuchado tu súplica sobre esto, y no destruiré la ciudad de que has hablado.

Et il lui dit: Voici, je t'accorde encore cette grâce, et je ne détruirai pas la ville dont tu parles.

And he said to him, "See, I have favored you concerning this thing also, in that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.

Zoaz bizkor, ez baitezaket ezer egin zu hara iritsi arte. Honengatik, herri hari Tzoar -hau da, "Txiki"- deritza.

Date prisa y escápate allá, porque nada podré hacer hasta que hayas llegado. Por eso fue llamado Zoar el nombre de la ciudad.

Hâte -toi de t'y réfugier, car je ne puis rien faire jusqu'à ce que tu y sois arrivé. C'est pour cela que l'on a donné à cette ville le nom de Tsoar.

"Hurry, escape there. For I cannot do anything until you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

Eguzkia ateratzen ari zuen Lot Tzoarrera iritsi zenean.

El sol salía sobre la tierra cuando Lot llegó a Zoar.

Le soleil se levait sur la terre, lorsque Lot entra dans Tsoar.

The sun had risen upon the earth when Lot entered Zoar.

Orduan, Jaunak sufre eta suzko euria bota zuen zerutik Sodoma eta Gomorraren gainera.

Entonces Jehová hizo llover desde los cielos azufre y fuego sobre Sodoma y sobre Gomorra;

Alors l'Éternel fit pleuvoir du ciel sur Sodome et sur Gomorrhe du soufre et du feu, de par l'Éternel.

Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens.

Jaunak erraustu egin zituen hiriak eta bertako bizilagunak, lautada osoa eta lurralde hartako landaretza.

y destruyó las ciudades y toda aquella llanura, con todos los habitantes de aquellas ciudades y el fruto de la tierra.

Il détruisit ces villes, toute la plaine et tous les habitants des villes, et les plantes de la terre.

So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

Loten emazteak atzera begiratu zuen, eta gatz-irudi bihurtu zen.

Entonces la mujer de Lot miró atrás, a espaldas de él, y se volvió estatua de sal.

La femme de Lot regarda en arrière, et elle devint une statue de sel.

But his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

Abraham, goizean goiz jaikirik, Jaunarekin egondako lekura joan zen.

Subió Abraham por la mañana al lugar donde había estado delante de Jehová.

Abraham se leva de bon matin, pour aller au lieu où il s'était tenu en présence de l'Éternel.

And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD.

Eta Sodoma, Gomorra eta ibarraldeko lautada osora begiraturik, kea ikusi zuen labe batetik bezala lurretik altxatzen.

Miró hacia Sodoma y Gomorra, y hacia toda la tierra de aquella llanura, y vio que el humo subía de la tierra como el humo de un horno.

Il porta ses regards du côté de Sodome et de Gomorrhe, et sur tout le territoire de la plaine; et voici, il vit s'élever de la terre une fumée, comme la fumée d'une fournaise.

Then he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain; and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land which went up like the smoke of a furnace.

Honela, ibarreko hiriak errautsi zituenean, Abrahamez gogoratu zen Jainkoa eta onez atera zuen Lot, bizi zeneko hirien hondamen hartatik.

Así, cuando Dios destruyó las ciudades de la llanura, se acordó de Abraham, y sacó a Lot de en medio de la destrucción con que asoló las ciudades donde Lot estaba.

Lorsque Dieu détruisit les villes de la plaine, il se souvint d'Abraham; et il fit échapper Lot du milieu du désastre, par lequel il bouleversa les villes où Lot avait établi sa demeure.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt.

Gero, Lotek alde egin zuen Tzoartik, han gelditzeko beldur baitzen, eta mendian kokatu zen bere bi alabekin. Harpe batean jarri ziren bizitzen.

Pero Lot subió de Zoar y habitó en el monte, junto a sus dos hijas, porque tuvo miedo de quedarse en Zoar. Él y sus dos hijas habitaron en una cueva.

Lot quitta Tsoar pour la hauteur, et se fixa sur la montagne, avec ses deux filles, car il craignait de rester à Tsoar. Il habita dans une caverne, lui et ses deux filles.

Then Lot went up out of Zoar and dwelt in the mountains, and his two daughters were with him; for he was afraid to dwell in Zoar. And he and his two daughters dwelt in a cave.

Behin batez, alaba zaharrenak gazteenari esan zion: "Gure aita zaharra dun eta hemen inguruan ez zegon ezkontzeko gizonezkorik, lurralde guztian egin ohi den bezala.

Entonces la mayor dijo a la menor: -- Nuestro padre es viejo y no queda hombre en la tierra que se una a nosotras, conforme a la costumbre de toda la tierra.

L'aînée dit à la plus jeune: Notre père est vieux; et il n'y a point d'homme dans la contrée, pour venir vers nous, selon l'usage de tous les pays.

Now the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father [is] old, and [there is] no man on the earth to come in to us as is the custom of all the earth.

Goazeman; mozkor dezagun aita eta etzan gaitezen berarekin; horrela, izango dinagu semerik geure aitarengandik".

Ven, demos a beber vino a nuestro padre; durmamos con él, y conservaremos de nuestro padre descendencia.

Viens, faisons boire du vin à notre père, et couchons avec lui, afin que nous conservions la race de notre père.

"Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father."

Hala, gau hartan bertan mozkortu zuten aita eta beronekin etzan zen alaba zaharrena; Lot ez zen ohartu alaba noiz etzan eta noiz jaiki zen.

Dieron a beber vino a su padre aquella noche, y entró la mayor y durmió con su padre; pero él no sintió cuándo se acostó ella ni cuándo se levantó.

Elles firent donc boire du vin à leur père cette nuit-là; et l'aînée alla coucher avec son père: il ne s'aperçut ni quand elle se coucha, ni quand elle se leva.

So they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

It happened on the next day that the firstborn said to the younger, "Indeed I lay with my father last night; let us make him drink wine tonight also, and you go in [and] lie with him, that we may preserve the lineage of our father."

And the younger, she also bore a son and called his name Ben-Ammi; he [is] the father of the people of Ammon to this day.
