XLVI. Le préfet, délivré ainsi d'un surveillant importun, presse Mithridate de traiter sans retard.

He urged the ties of natural affection between brothers, and the rights of seniority, which preponderated in favour of Pharasmanes. He added, that " Mithridates was, in fact, the son-in-law of his brother, and at the same time, uncle and father-in-law to Rhadamistus.
