Then did a roaring wind tear the folds apart:

whistling, whizzing, and piercing, it threw unto me a black coffin.

And in the roaring, and whistling, and whizzing the coffin burst up, and spouted out a thousand peals of laughter.

Verily, THEY THEMSELVES DIDST THOU DREAM, thine enemies:

that was thy sorest dream.

Baina zu haiengandik iratzarri zinen bezala eta zeure baitara itzuli zaren bezala, haiek ere beren baitatik iratzarri behar dute-eta zugana itzuli!"-

¡Mas así como te despertaste de entre ellos y volviste en ti, así también ellos deben despertar de sí mismos-¡y volver a ti!" -

Mais comme tu t'est réveillé d'eux et que tu es revenu à toi-même, ainsi ils doivent se réveiller d'eux-mêmes-et venir à toi!" -

But as thou awokest from them and camest to thyself, so shall they awaken from themselves-and come unto thee!"

Honela mintzatu zen dizipulua;

Thus spake the disciple;

eta beste guztiak Zaratustraren inguruan pilatu ziren eta eskuetatik heldu zioten eta ohea eta tristura utz zitzan eta beraiekin itzul zedin komentzitu nahi zuten.

and all the others then thronged around Zarathustra, grasped him by the hands, and tried to persuade him to leave his bed and his sadness, and return unto them.

Baina Zaratustra, bere ohean zurrun eseri zen, begirada galduarekin.

Mas Zaratustra permaneció sentado en su lecho, rígido y con una mirada extraña.

Cependant Zarathoustra était assis droit sur sa couche avec des yeux étranges.

Zarathustra, however, sat upright on his couch, with an absent look.

Urruneko herrialde batetik etxera itzultzen denaren gisara, begiratu zien dizipuluei eta aurpegiak aztertu zizkien;

Como alguien que retorna a casa desde un remoto país extranjero, así miraba él a sus discípulos y examinaba sus rostros;

Pareil à quelqu'un qui revient d'une longue absence, il regarda ses disciples et interrogea leurs visages;

Like one returning from long foreign sojourn did he look on his disciples, and examined their features;

eta ez zituen ezagutu.

y aún no los reconocía.

et il ne les reconnaissait pas encore.

but still he knew them not.

Baina altxatu eta oinen gainean ezarri zutenean, hara, bapatean begirada aldatu zitzaion;

Mas cuando ellos lo levantaron y lo pusieron en pie, he aquí que de repente sus ojos cambiaron;

Mais lorsqu'ils le soulevèrent et qu'ils le placèrent sur ses jambes, son oeil se transforma tout à coup;

When, however, they raised him, and set him upon his feet, behold, all on a sudden his eye changed;

gertatutako guztia ulertu zuen, bizarra igurtzi eta mintzo sendoz esan zuen:

comprendió todo lo que había ocurrido, se acarició la barba y dijo con fuerte voz:

il comprit tout ce qui était arrivé, et en se caressant la barbe, il dit d'une voix forte:

he understood everything that had happened, stroked his beard, and said with a strong voice:

"Tira!

¡Bien!

"Allons!

"Well!

Gauza bakoitzak bere garaia du;

Eso llegará en su momento;

tout cela viendra en son temps;

this hath just its time;

ardura zaitezte orain, ene dizipuluok, afari on bat egiteaz, eta bizkor!

ahora procurad, discípulos míos, que comamos una buena comida, ¡y pronto!

mais veillez, mes disciples, à ce que nous fassions un bon repas, et bientôt!

but see to it, my disciples, that we have a good repast; and without delay!

Honela dut penitentzia egiteko asmoa neure amets txarrengatik!

¡Así pienso hacer penitencia por mis malos sueños!

-c'est ainsi que je pense expier mes mauvais rêves!

Thus do I mean to make amends for bad dreams!

Aztiak, ordea, nire ondoan jan eta edan behar du:

The soothsayer, however, shall eat and drink at my side:

Gero ametsa adierazi zion dizipuluari luzaroan aurpegira begiratu eta buruari eragin zion. -

Luego estuvo mirando largo tiempo al rostro del discípulo que había hecho de intérprete del sueño, y mientras miraba movía la cabeza. -

Mais alors il regarda longtemps en plein visage le disciple qui lui avait expliqué son rêve, et, ce faisant, il secoua la tête. -

Then did he gaze long into the face of the disciple who had been the dream-interpreter, and shook his head. -

Egun baten Zaratustra zubi handi batetik igarotzean, elbarritu eta eskaleek inguratu zuten, eta konkordun batek honela hitz egin zion:

Un día en que Zaratustra estaba atravesando el gran puente lo rodearon los lisiados y los mendigos , y un jorobado le habló así:

When Zarathustra went one day over the great bridge, then did the cripples and beggars surround him, and a hunchback spake thus unto him:

"Hara, Zaratustra!

"Vois, Zarathoustra!

"Behold, Zarathustra!

Herriak ere ikasten du zugandik eta fede ematen dio zure irakatsiari:

También el pueblo aprende de ti y comienza a creer en tu doctrina:

Le peuple lui aussi profite de tes enseignements et commence à croire en ta doctrine:

Even the people learn from thee, and acquire faith in thy teaching:
