The Campus Bizia Lab Programme is an initiative arising from the Erasmus University Educators for Sustainable Development Project, in which the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU) was involved between 2013-2016. It seeks to trigger a collaborative process between academic staff, service and administrative staff and students (multidisciplinary approach) in order to respond to sustainability challenges within the university.

The EH Campus Bizia Programme is in keeping with the priority lines of the Strategic Plan 2018-2021, along with the IKD i3 educational model (dynamic and cooperative learning) of the UPV/EHY. It is an initiative driven by the Sustainability Directorate and the Educational Advisory Service, both belonging to the Vice-Chancellor’s Office for Innovation, Social Commitment and Social Action.
