The UPV/EHU wants its students to receive quality education and for their time at the university, apart from being an enriching life experience, to allow them to react appropriately to global and local challenges and to act ethically, actively and creatively in the pursuit of social transformation. Furthermore, it seeks to foster values such as collaboration, equality, critical thought, creativity and social commitment in the university community overall (academic and research staff (PD), service and administrative staff (PAS) and students).

Therefore, the Sustainability Directorate has developed a range of complementary training in the field of sustainable development. That range is cross-cutting to all disciplines and is taught in person and online.
