Shape Optimization
Shape optimization is defined as a structural optimization problem where the boundaries of a current design are varied in order to optimize its shape with respect to the objective and constraint functions. Our research team works with commercial software as HyperWorks®, Optistruct® and Inspire®. Besides, the group develops its own optimization codes in MATLAB®.
