Biography
Oihana Leonet is an Assistant Teacher in the of Research Methods in Education at the Education, Philosophy and Anthropology Faculty, University of the Basque Contry (UPV/EHU). She has participated in several international conferences on multilingualism in education and has published her work in national and international journals. She holds a BA in Primary Teacher teaching in UPV/EHU and a BA in Psychopedagogy at the Mondragon Unibertsitatea (MU). She obtained her MA “European Master on Multilingualism and Education” from UPV/EHU and she received her Ph.D. degree by this University. In addition, she has worked as a primary and secondary education teacher in several schools of the Basque Education System. Her research interests include: metalinguistic awareness, multilingual learning strategies as well as other aspects related to multilingualism in education.
