Those wishing to apply for the award must state so when submitting their registration form (a document certifying enrolment in a doctoral programme or having completed their doctorate after 1 January 2023 will be required).

Only one author and one communication will be considered for the award.

The communications will be evaluated by a committee of experts proposed by the conference organisers. The committee may seek any advice it deems appropriate for the evaluation. Both the content and the form of the oral presentation will be taken into account. The composition of the members of the committee will not be made public.

The committee's decision is final and it will be announced on the last day of the conference.
