The period for sending abstracts starts on 20 October 2018 and ends on 3 February 2019.

Abstracts are limited to 350 words.

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide the final format of the presentations. Furthermore, the committee may place the paper in a different thematic area to the one proposed by the author, should it so deem fit.

A proposal will be assessed according to what degree it:

• Aims at improved teaching and student learning (in a specific or in a wide sense)
• Builds on and makes use of relevant literature and theory

• It has the potential to trigger participation and interaction among EuroSoTL attendees

• Relates to the conference theme

• It is clearly focused and has a well-defined structure

Once the summary has been accepted, the author shall submit the final document which should be 1,500 to 3,000 words long.

The deadline for submitting the final document is 30 April 2019.

All the accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
