The Global Health EDCTP3 Partnership Work Programme 2025 has been published, which includes 4 calls for proposals, covering 7 themes and with a total budget of €214 million.

The calls, with evaluation in two phases, are open and close for the first phase in March 2025 and for the second phase (only for proposals that have passed the first phase) in September 2025.

Research and Innovation Actions (RIA):

• Vaccines to reduce the burden of tuberculosis in sub-Saharan Africa.
• Malaria therapeutics and clinical development of new antimalarial candidates.
• Accelerating the development of prophylactic vaccines against neglected tropical diseases.
• Strategic training centres for public health fellowships.
• Strengthening regional networks of excellence and consortia for epidemic preparedness.

Coordination and Support Actions (CSA):

• Strategic training centres for public health scholarships.
• Strengthening regional networks of excellence and epidemic preparedness consortia.
