Project Summary: BLUESKILLING INNOVATION will deliver the necessary skills to boost blue innovation, strengthen industrial competitiveness and accelerate the deployment marine renewables and green shipping technology in the Atlantic area. The shipbuilding and maritime tech sector has the challenge to lead the maritime digital/green transition and blue innovation to meet the goals of the Green Deal and have carbon neutral, sustainable and healthy seas by 2050. The project will deliver innovative training and skills to cover the gaps that are hampering the fast deployment of maritime innovation in green and offshore tech. The results will be open and transferable to other European regions and will benefit students, researchers, workers, companies, administration and society. Transnational cooperation will be key to benefit from the expertise from each region, exploit synergies and complementarities to deliver the most useful innovative training to meet the common challenges.
