Brief description: The Go Green! project is fully in line with the HORIZONTAL priority related to Environment and fight against climate change as it aims to deeply influence the way Environmental and sustainable development are addressed and taught at secondary school level. The project is indeed focused on building a transnational effort involving Schools and Higher Education institutions to provide teachers of all subjects with the necessary skills and competences on environmental and sustainable development to be addressed from a transdisciplinary perspective and problem-based approach. The Project, therefore, provides teachers of all subjects, with the skills for inserting environmentalrelated issues in their lessons through the creation of highly scientifically relevant but usable teaching tools to transfer the skills and competences to students developing their capacity to address challenges and problems by using their knowledge actively. The project will therefore allow students to understand and deal with environmental issues according a full interdimensional comprehension of its complexity. Thanks to this project, students will become agents of change promoting within schools green communities, sustainable and interactive practices (e.g. sparing resources, reducing the use of energy and waste, compensating the emissions of carbon footprint, choosing sustainable means of transport etc.) through strategies that go beyond the mere superficial message of good intentions and consider the multifaced impact of the proposed solutions.
