Brief description: Financial literacy is key to ensure economic access, growth & empowerment. However, it is a field not always ensured especially among the youngest generation. Individuals below 25 years score lowest at OECD reports on financial literacy as well as lower-income groups, women & less-educated youngsters. In this context & during our last YPA GA in May 2020, many of our members, express their will to invest and work on programs that could help their youth workers being better prepared to engage and empower the disadvantaged youth groups they work with for better social & labor inclusion both as prepared employees or self-employed.
General objectives of this project are:
- Increasing the financial literacy of youth workers directly working with disadvantaged youngsters.
- Increasing social and labor market inclusion and entrepreneurial skills of disadvantaged young people by boosting their competencies and skills on financial literacy through non-formal education tools and methodologies.
