' And these [things] shall be a statute of judgment to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Si un homme tue quelqu'un, on ôtera la vie au meurtrier, sur la déposition de témoins. Un seul témoin ne suffira pas pour faire condamner une personne à mort.

'Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness is not [sufficient] testimony against a person for the death [penalty.]

'Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who [is] guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.

'And you shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.

"Ez profanatu zaudeten lurraldea. Hilketak profanatu egiten du lurraldea, eta isuritako odoletik lurraldea garbi gelditzeko bide bakarra hiltzailearen odola da, heriotza-zigorra alegia".

"No contaminaréis la tierra donde viváis, porque esta sangre mancillará la tierra, y la tierra no puede ser purificada de la sangre derramada en ella si no es por la sangre del que la derramó.

Vous ne souillerez point le pays où vous serez, car le sang souille le pays; et il ne sera fait pour le pays aucune expiation du sang qui y sera répandu que par le sang de celui qui l'aura répandu.

'So you shall not pollute the land where you [are;] for blood defiles the land, and no atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.

'Therefore do not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.' "

Los príncipes de los padres de la familia de Galaad hijo de Maquir hijo de Manasés, de las familias de los hijos de José, se presentaron delante de Moisés y de los príncipes, los jefes de las casas paternas de los hijos de Israel,

Les chefs de la famille de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé, d'entre les familles des fils de Joseph, s'approchèrent et parlèrent devant Moïse et devant les princes, chefs de famille des enfants d'Israël.

Now the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the leaders, the chief fathers of the children of Israel.

eta esan zieten: "Jaunak zozketaz lurraldea israeldarrei banatzeko agindu dizu, baita gure senide Tzelofhaden ondarea beraren alabei emateko ere.

y dijeron: -- Jehová mandó a mi señor que por sorteo diera la tierra a los hijos de Israel en posesión. También ha mandado Jehová a mi señor que dé la posesión de Zelofehad, nuestro hermano, a sus hijas.

Ils dirent: L'Éternel a ordonné à mon seigneur de donner le pays en héritage par le sort aux enfants d'Israël. Mon seigneur a aussi reçu de l'Éternel l'ordre de donner l'héritage de Tselophchad, notre frère, à ses filles.

And they said: "The LORD commanded my lord [Moses] to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel, and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.

Horiek horrela, alabak beste leinuren bateko gizonekin ezkonduko balira, beraien ondare-zatia, gure arbasoen ondaretik banandu eta senarren leinukoari erantsiko litzaioke. Horrela, zozketan egokitu zitzaigun ondarea murriztua gertatuko litzateke.

Eta Jubileu Urtea iristean, Tzelofhaden alaben ondarea behin betiko erantsiko litzaioke senarren leinukoari eta gure arbasoen leinutik banandurik geldituko".

Cuando llegue el jubileo de los hijos de Israel, la heredad de ellas será añadida a la heredad de la tribu de sus maridos, y la heredad de ellas será restada de la heredad de la tribu de nuestros padres.

Et quand viendra le jubilé pour les enfants d'Israël, leur héritage sera ajouté à celui de la tribu à laquelle elles appartiendront, et il sera retranché de celui de la tribu de nos pères.

"And when the Jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe into which they marry; so their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers."

Orduan, Jaunaren aginduz, argibide hauek eman zizkien Moisesek: "Arrazoia dute Joseren leinukoek.

Entonces Moisés, según el mandato de Jehová, ordenó a los hijos de Israel: -- La tribu de los hijos de José habla rectamente.

Moïse transmit aux enfants d'Israël les ordres de l'Éternel. Il dit: La tribu des fils de Joseph a raison.

Then Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying: "What the tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks is right.

Voici ce que l'Éternel ordonne au sujet des filles de Tselophchad: elles se marieront à qui elles voudront, pourvu qu'elles se marient dans une famille de la tribu de leurs pères.

"This [is] what the LORD commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, 'Let them marry whom they think best, but they may marry only within the family of their father's tribe.'

Horrela, israeldarren artean ez da ondare-zatirik leinu batetik bestera aldatuko; israeldarrek nork bere aitaren ondareari atxikirik jarraituko dute.

"So the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not change hands from tribe to tribe, for every one of the children of Israel shall keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

"And every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be the wife of one of the family of her father's tribe, so that the children of Israel each may possess the inheritance of his fathers.

y no ande la heredad rodando de una tribu a otra, sino que cada una de las tribus de los hijos de Israel estará ligada a su heredad".

Aucun héritage ne passera d'une tribu à une autre tribu, mais les tribus des enfants d'Israël s'attacheront chacune à son héritage.

"Thus no inheritance shall change hands from [one] tribe to another, but every tribe of the children of Israel shall keep its own inheritance."

Tzelofhaden alabek Jaunak Moisesi agindu bezala egin zuten.

Como Jehová mandó a Moisés, así hicieron las hijas de Zelofehad.

Les filles de Tselophchad se conformèrent à l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné à Moïse.

Just as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;

Mahla, Tirtza, Hogla, Milka eta Noa, Tzelofhaden alabak, lehengusuekin ezkondu ziren,

Maala, Tirsa, Hogla, Milca y Noa, hijas de Zelofehad, se casaron con hijos de sus tíos paternos.

Machla, Thirtsa, Hogla, Milca et Noa, filles de Tselophchad, se marièrent aux fils de leurs oncles;

for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to the sons of their father's brothers.

Joseren seme Manasesen ondorengoen senitarteko gizonekin, beraz. Horrela, haien ondarea beren aitaren leinuko senitartean gelditu zen.

Se casaron en la familia de los hijos de Manasés hijo de José, y así quedó su heredad en la tribu de la familia de su padre.

elles se marièrent dans les familles des fils de Manassé, fils de Joseph, et leur héritage resta dans la tribu de la famille de leur père.

They were married into the families of the children of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of their father's family.

Horiek dira Moabeko lautadan, Jordan ondoan, Jeriko parean, Jaunak Moisesen bidez israeldarrei eman zizkien agindu eta arauak.

Estos son los mandamientos y los estatutos que dio Jehová, por medio de Moisés, a los hijos de Israel en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó.

Tels sont les commandements et les lois que l'Éternel donna par Moïse aux enfants d'Israël, dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.

These [are] the commandments and the judgments which the LORD commanded the children of Israel by the hand of Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, [across from] Jericho.

Hauek dira Moisesek Israel herri osoari zuzenduriko hitzaldiak, Jordanez bestaldean, basamortuan, Sufen aurrez aurre dagoen haranean, hau da, Paran eta Tofel, Laban, Hatzerot eta Di-Zahaben arteko haranean.

Estas son las palabras que habló Moisés a todo Israel a este lado del Jordán, en el desierto, en el Arabá, frente al Mar Rojo, entre Parán, Tofel, Labán, Hazerot y Dizahab.

Voici les paroles que Moïse adressa à tout Israël, de l'autre côté du Jourdain, dans le désert, dans la plaine, vis-à-vis de Suph, entre Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hatséroth et Di-Zahab.

These [are] the words which Moses spoke to all Israel on this side of the Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain opposite Suph, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

[It is] eleven days' [journey] from Horeb by way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea.

Now it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first [day] of the month, [that] Moses spoke to the children of Israel according to all that the LORD had given him as commandments to them,

De este lado del Jordán, en tierra de Moab, resolvió Moisés proclamar esta ley, diciendo:

On this side of the Jordan in the land of Moab, Moses began to explain this law, saying,

"Jehová, nuestro Dios, nos habló así en Horeb: "Habéis estado bastante tiempo en este monte.

L'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous a parlé à Horeb, en disant: Vous avez assez demeuré dans cette montagne.

"The LORD our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying: 'You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.

Abia zaitezte eta joan amortarren mendialde eta inguruetara: haranera, mendialdera eta Xefela lautadara, Negebera eta kostaldera, kanaandarren lurraldera eta Libanora, Eufrates ibai handiraino.

Volveos e id al monte del amorreo y a todas sus comarcas, en el Arabá, en el monte, en los valles, en el Neguev y junto a la costa del mar, a la tierra del cananeo y al Líbano, hasta el gran río, el río Éufrates.

Tournez -vous, et partez; allez à la montagne des Amoréens et dans tout le voisinage, dans la plaine, sur la montagne, dans la vallée, dans le midi, sur la côte de la mer, au pays des Cananéens et au Liban, jusqu'au grand fleuve, au fleuve d'Euphrate.

'Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring [places] in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.

'See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers -- to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- to give to them and their descendants after them.'

"En aquel tiempo yo os hablé y os dije: "Yo solo no puedo llevaros.

Dans ce temps -là, je vous dis: Je ne puis pas, à moi seul, vous porter.

" And I spoke to you at that time, saying: 'I alone am not able to bear you.

Jaunak zeuen Jainkoak ugaldu egin zaituzte eta, egun, zeruko izarrak bezain ugari zarete.

Jehová, vuestro Dios, os ha multiplicado tanto que hoy vosotros sois tan numerosos como las estrellas del cielo.

L'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous a multipliés, et vous êtes aujourd'hui aussi nombreux que les étoiles du ciel.

'The LORD your God has multiplied you, and here you [are] today, as the stars of heaven in multitude.

Jaunak zeuen arbasoen Jainkoak mila bider ugariago egin eta bedeinka zaitzatela, hitz eman dizuen bezala.

¡Jehová, Dios de vuestros padres, os haga mil veces más numerosos de lo que ahora sois y os bendiga, como os ha prometido!

Que l'Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères, vous augmente mille fois autant, et qu'il vous bénisse comme il vous l'a promis !

'May the LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you!

Baina nola eraman dezaket nik bakarrik zuen arazo eta auzien zama?

¿Cómo llevaré yo solo vuestras molestias, vuestras cargas y vuestros pleitos?

Comment porterais -je, à moi seul, votre charge, votre fardeau et vos contestations ?

'How can I alone bear your problems and your burdens and your complaints?

Aukera itzazue leinu bakoitzetik gizon jakintsu, buruargi eta trebatuak, eta zuen buru ezarriko ditut.

Dadme de entre vosotros, de vuestras tribus, hombres sabios, entendidos y expertos, para que yo los ponga como vuestros jefes".

Prenez dans vos tribus des hommes sages, intelligents et connus, et je les mettrai à votre tête.

'Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men from among your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.'

"Nire proposamenari ongi irizten zeniotela erantzun zenidaten.

"Me respondisteis y dijisteis: "Bueno es hacer lo que has dicho".

Vous me répondîtes, en disant: Ce que tu proposes de faire est une bonne chose.

"And you answered me and said, 'The thing which you have told [us] to do [is] good.'

Je pris alors les chefs de vos tribus, des hommes sages et connus, et je les mis à votre tête comme chefs de mille, chefs de cent, chefs de cinquante, et chefs de dix, et comme ayant autorité dans vos tribus.

"So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and knowledgeable men, and made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, leaders of hundreds, leaders of fifties, leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes.

"Agindu hauek eman nizkien zuen epaileei: "Herritarren auziak entzun eta zuzenbidez erabakiko dituzue, auziok beste herritarrekin nahiz etorkinekin izan.

Je donnai, dans le même temps, cet ordre à vos juges: Écoutez vos frères, et jugez selon la justice les différends de chacun avec son frère ou avec l'étranger.

"Then I commanded your judges at that time, saying, 'Hear [the cases] between your brethren, and judge righteously between a man and his brother or the stranger who is with him.

Vous n'aurez point égard à l'apparence des personnes dans vos jugements; vous écouterez le petit comme le grand; vous ne craindrez aucun homme, car c'est Dieu qui rend la justice. Et lorsque vous trouverez une cause trop difficile, vous la porterez devant moi, pour que je l'entende.

'You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid in any man's presence, for the judgment [is] God's. The case that is too hard for you, bring to me, and I will hear it.'

Aldi hartan bertan, egin behar zenuten guztiaz aginduak eman nizkizuen.

"Os mandé, pues, en aquel tiempo, todo lo que habíais de hacer.

C'est ainsi que je vous prescrivis, dans ce temps -là, tout ce que vous aviez à faire.

"And I commanded you at that time all the things which you should do.

Nous partîmes d'Horeb, et nous parcourûmes en entier ce grand et affreux désert que vous avez vu; nous prîmes le chemin de la montagne des Amoréens, comme l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous l'avait ordonné, et nous arrivâmes à Kadès-Barnéa.

" So we departed from Horeb, and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw on the way to the mountains of the Amorites, as the LORD our God had commanded us. Then we came to Kadesh Barnea.

"And I said to you, 'You have come to the mountains of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.

Begira, Jaunak zeuen Jainkoak eskura ematen dizue lurraldea. Joan eta jabetu hartaz, Jaunak zuen arbasoen Jainkoak hitz eman bezala. Ez izan beldur! Ez kikildu!

Mira, Jehová, tu Dios, te ha entregado la tierra: sube y toma posesión de ella, como Jehová, el Dios de tus padres, te ha dicho. No temas ni desmayes".

Vois, l'Éternel, ton Dieu, met le pays devant toi; monte, prends-en possession, comme te l'a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu de tes pères; ne crains point, et ne t'effraie point.

'Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up [and] possess [it,] as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.'

"Zuek niregana etorri eta esan zenidaten: Bidal ditzagun aurretik zenbait gizon lurraldea ikertzera, zein bidetatik joan eta zein hiritara sartu jakinaraz diezaguten.

Pero os acercasteis todos a decirme: "Enviemos hombres delante de nosotros, que reconozcan la tierra y a su regreso nos traigan razón del camino por donde hemos de subir y de las ciudades adonde hemos de llegar".

'The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes,
