Quiconque touchera, dans les champs, un homme tué par l'épée, ou un mort, ou des ossements humains, ou un sépulcre, sera impur pendant sept jours.

'Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

'A clean person shall take hyssop and dip [it] in the water, sprinkle [it] on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, the slain, the dead, or a grave.

Un homme qui sera impur, et qui ne se purifiera pas, sera retranché du milieu de l'assemblée, car il a souillé le sanctuaire de l'Éternel; comme l'eau de purification n'a pas été répandue sur lui, il est impur.

' But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself, that person shall be cut off from among the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD. The water of purification has not been sprinkled on him; he [is] unclean.

Ce sera pour eux une loi perpétuelle. Celui qui fera l'aspersion de l'eau de purification lavera ses vêtements, et celui qui touchera l'eau de purification sera impur jusqu'au soir.

'It shall be a perpetual statute for them. He who sprinkles the water of purification shall wash his clothes; and he who touches the water of purification shall be unclean until evening.

Kutsaturiko gizonak ukitzen duen guztia kutsaturik geldituko da; kutsaturik dagoena ukitzen duena ere kutsaturik geldituko da arratsera arte".

Y todo lo que el impuro toque, será inmundo; y la persona que lo toque a él, quedará impura hasta la noche".

Tout ce que touchera celui qui est impur sera souillé, et la personne qui le touchera sera impure jusqu'au soir.

'Whatever the unclean [person] touches shall be unclean; and the person who touches [it] shall be unclean until evening.' "

Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.

And the people contended with Moses and spoke, saying: "If only we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

"Why have you brought up the assembly of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our animals should die here?

Zertarako atera gintuzuen Egiptotik, zergatik ekarri bazter negargarri honetara? Hemen ezin da ezer erein, ezta pikondorik, mahatsondorik nahiz granadondorik landatu ere; ez dago edateko urik ere!"

¿Y por qué nos has hecho subir de Egipto, para traernos a este horrible lugar? No es un lugar de sementera, de higueras, de viñas ni de granados, ni aun de agua para beber".

Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour nous amener dans ce méchant lieu ? Ce n'est pas un lieu où l'on puisse semer, et il n'y a ni figuier, ni vigne, ni grenadier, ni d'eau à boire.

"And why have you made us come up out of Egypt, to bring us to this evil place? It [is] not a place of grain or figs or vines or pomegranates; nor [is] there any water to drink."

So Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and they fell on their faces. And the glory of the LORD appeared to them.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Prends la verge, et convoque l'assemblée, toi et ton frère Aaron. Vous parlerez en leur présence au rocher, et il donnera ses eaux; tu feras sortir pour eux de l'eau du rocher, et tu abreuveras l'assemblée et leur bétail.

"Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals."

So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him.

Moïse et Aaron convoquèrent l'assemblée en face du rocher. Et Moïse leur dit: Écoutez donc, rebelles ! Est-ce de ce rocher que nous vous ferons sortir de l'eau ?

And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, "Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?"

Y alzando su mano, Moisés golpeó la peña con su vara dos veces. Brotó agua en abundancia, y bebió la congregación y sus bestias.

Puis Moïse leva la main et frappa deux fois le rocher avec sa verge. Il sortit de l'eau en abondance. L'assemblée but, et le bétail aussi.

Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

Pero Jehová dijo a Moisés y a Aarón: "Por cuanto no creísteis en mí, para santificarme delante de los hijos de Israel, por tanto, no entraréis con esta congregación en la tierra que les he dado".

Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron: Parce que vous n'avez pas cru en moi, pour me sanctifier aux yeux des enfants d'Israël, vous ne ferez point entrer cette assemblée dans le pays que je lui donne.

Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."

This [was] the water of Meribah, because the children of Israel contended with the LORD, and He was hallowed among them.

Now Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom. "Thus says your brother Israel: 'You know all the hardship that has befallen us,

'how our fathers went down to Egypt, and we dwelt in Egypt a long time, and the Egyptians afflicted us and our fathers.

Nous avons crié à l'Éternel, et il a entendu notre voix. Il a envoyé un ange, et nous a fait sortir de l'Égypte. Et voici, nous sommes à Kadès, ville à l'extrémité de ton territoire.

'When we cried out to the LORD, He heard our voice and sent the Angel and brought us up out of Egypt; now here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.

Laisse-nous passer par ton pays; nous ne traverserons ni les champs, ni les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, sans nous détourner à droite ou à gauche, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire.

'Please let us pass through your country. We will not pass through fields or vineyards, nor will we drink water from wells; we will go along the King's Highway; we will not turn aside to the right hand or to the left until we have passed through your territory.' "

Baina Edomgo erregeak erantzun zien: -Ez duzue nire lurraldea zapalduko; bestela, bidera aterako natzaizue borrokara.

Edom le respondió: -- No pasarás por mi país; de otra manera, saldré contra ti armado.

Édom lui dit: Tu ne passeras point chez moi, sinon je sortirai à ta rencontre avec l'épée.

Then Edom said to him, "You shall not pass through my [land,] lest I come out against you with the sword."

So the children of Israel said to him, "We will go by the Highway, and if I or my livestock drink any of your water, then I will pay for it; let me only pass through on foot, nothing [more."]

Edomgo erregeak, berriz: -Ez zarete igaroko! Eta bidera atera zitzaien gudaroste handi eta biziki indartsuarekin.

Then he said, "You shall not pass through." So Edom came out against them with many men and with a strong hand.

Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël partit de Kadès, et arriva à la montagne de Hor.

Then the children of Israel, the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor.

Han, Edom lurraldearen mugan, Jaunak esan zien Moisesi eta Aaroni:

Jehová habló a Moisés y a Aarón en el monte Hor, en la frontera de la tierra de Edom, diciendo:

L'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron, vers la montagne de Hor, sur la frontière du pays d'Édom:

And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor by the border of the land of Edom, saying:

"Aaron hil egingo da, ezin baita sartu israeldarrei emango diedan lurraldean, muzin egin baitzenieten nire aginduei Meribako iturriaren ondoan.

"Aarón va a ser reunido a su pueblo, pues no entrará en la tierra que yo di a los hijos de Israel, por cuanto fuisteis rebeldes a mi mandamiento en las aguas de la rencilla.

Aaron va être recueilli auprès de son peuple; car il n'entrera point dans le pays que je donne aux enfants d'Israël, parce que vous avez été rebelles à mon ordre, aux eaux de Meriba.

"Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not enter the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the water of Meribah.

So Moses did just as the LORD commanded, and they went up to Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

Now when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, all the house of Israel mourned for Aaron thirty days.

The king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South, heard that Israel was coming on the road to Atharim, then he fought against Israel and took [some] of them prisoners.

So Israel made a vow to the LORD, and said, "If You will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities."

And the LORD listened to the voice of Israel and delivered up the Canaanites, and they utterly destroyed them and their cities. So the name of that place was called Hormah.

Then they journeyed from Mount Hor by the Way of the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the soul of the people became very discouraged on the way.

eta gaizki-esaka hasi ziren Jainkoaren eta Moisesen aurka: "Zertarako atera gintuzuen Egiptotik? Basamortuan hilarazteko? Ez dugu urik, ez jakirik, eta mana delako janari kaskar honetaz asper-asper eginak gaude!"

y comenzó a hablar contra Dios y contra Moisés: "¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para que muramos en este desierto? Pues no hay pan ni agua, y estamos cansados de este pan tan liviano".

et parla contre Dieu et contre Moïse: Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour que nous mourions dans le désert ? car il n'y a point de pain, et il n'y a point d'eau, et notre âme est dégoûtée de cette misérable nourriture.

And the people spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For [there is] no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread."

Entonces Jehová envió contra el pueblo unas serpientes venenosas que mordían al pueblo, y así murió mucha gente de Israel.

Alors l'Éternel envoya contre le peuple des serpents brûlants; ils mordirent le peuple, et il mourut beaucoup de gens en Israël.

So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

Orduan, Moisesengana joan eta esan zioten: "Bekatu egin dugu Jaunaren eta zure aurka gaizki-esaka jardunez. Erregutu Jaunari sugeak guregandik urruntzeko". Moisesek herriaren alde erregutu zion Jaunari.

Entonces el pueblo acudió a Moisés y le dijo: "Hemos pecado por haber hablado contra Jehová y contra ti; ruega a Jehová para que aleje de nosotros estas serpientes". Moisés oró por el pueblo,

Le peuple vint à Moïse, et dit: Nous avons péché, car nous avons parlé contre l'Éternel et contre toi. Prie l'Éternel, afin qu'il éloigne de nous ces serpents. Moïse pria pour le peuple.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people.

Honek esan zion: "Egizu brontzezko suge bat eta ezarri haga baten muturrean. Sugeren batek zizta eginiko edonor, brontzezkoari begiratzean, sendatu egingo da".

y Jehová le respondió: "Hazte una serpiente ardiente y ponla sobre una asta; cualquiera que sea mordido y la mire, vivirá".

L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Fais -toi un serpent brûlant, et place -le sur une perche; quiconque aura été mordu, et le regardera, conservera la vie.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Make a fiery [serpent,] and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live."

Egin zuen Moisesek brontzezko sugea eta hagaren muturrean ezarri. Eta sugeren batek norbaiti zizta egiten bazion, brontzezkoari begiratzean, sendatu egiten zen.

Hizo Moisés una serpiente de bronce, y la puso sobre una asta. Y cuando alguna serpiente mordía a alguien, este miraba a la serpiente de bronce y vivía.

Moïse fit un serpent d'airain, et le plaça sur une perche; et quiconque avait été mordu par un serpent, et regardait le serpent d'airain, conservait la vie.

So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Now the children of Israel moved on and camped in Oboth.

And they journeyed from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, in the wilderness which [is] east of Moab, toward the sunrise.

Handik aurrera egin, eta Zered erreka ondoan etxolatu ziren.

From there they moved and camped in the Valley of Zered.

Handik ere abiatu, eta Arnon errekaz bestaldean etxolatu ziren; Arnon errekak, amortarren lurraldean sortu ondoren, basamortua zeharkatzen du eta moabdarren eta amortarren lurraldeen muga markatzen.

De allí partieron y acamparon al otro lado del Arnón, que está en el desierto y que sale del territorio del amorreo, pues el Arnón sirve de límite entre Moab y el amorreo.

De là ils partirent, et ils campèrent de l'autre côté de l'Arnon, qui coule dans le désert en sortant du territoire des Amoréens; car l'Arnon est la frontière de Moab, entre Moab et les Amoréens.

From there they moved and camped on the other side of the Arnon, which [is] in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amorites; for the Arnon [is] the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
