And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Atera kanpalekutik ni madarikatu nauen hori; ezar biezaiote eskua buruan aditu dioten guztiek; gero, hil beza harrika israeldarren elkarte osoak.

"Saca al blasfemo fuera del campamento, y todos los que lo oyeron pongan sus manos sobre su cabeza, y apedréelo toda la congregación.

Fais sortir du camp le blasphémateur; tous ceux qui l'ont entendu poseront leurs mains sur sa tête, et toute l'assemblée le lapidera.

"Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard [him] lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

Israeldarrei, berriz, honako agindu hauek adieraziko dizkiezu: "Jainkoa madarikatzen duenak bere bekatuaren ondorenak jasan beharko ditu: harrika hilko du elkarte osoak.

Y a los hijos de Israel hablarás así: Cualquiera que maldiga a su Dios cargará con su pecado.

Tu parleras aux enfants d'Israël, et tu diras: Quiconque maudira son Dieu portera la peine de son péché.

"Then you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

Jaunaren izena iraintzen duenak heriotza-zigorra izango du. Etorkina nahiz bertakoa izan, Jaunaren izena iraintzen duenari heriotza emango diote.

El que blasfeme contra el nombre de Jehová ha de ser muerto; toda la congregación lo apedreará. Tanto el extranjero como el natural, si blasfema contra el Nombre, que muera.

Celui qui blasphémera le nom de l'Éternel sera puni de mort: toute l'assemblée le lapidera. Qu'il soit étranger ou indigène, il mourra, pour avoir blasphémé le nom de Dieu.

'And whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him, the stranger as well as him who is born in the land. When he blasphemes the name [of the] [Lord,] he shall be put to death.

"Norbait hiltzen duenak heriotza-zigorra izango du.

"Asimismo el hombre que hiere de muerte a cualquier persona, que sufra la muerte.

Celui qui frappera un homme mortellement sera puni de mort.

' Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death.

"Beste baten aberea hiltzen duenak abere bizia itzuliko du hildakoaren ordain.

"El que hiere a algún animal ha de restituirlo, animal por animal.

Celui qui frappera un animal mortellement le remplacera: vie pour vie.

'Whoever kills an animal shall make it good, animal for animal.

"Norbaitek herritarra zauritzen badu, zauri berdina egingo diote berari:

"El que cause una lesión a su prójimo, según lo hizo, así le sea hecho:

Si quelqu'un blesse son prochain, il lui sera fait comme il a fait:

'If a man causes disfigurement of his neighbor, as he has done, so shall it be done to him --

haustura hausturaren ordain, begia begiaren ordain, hortza hortzaren ordain; egin duen zauria egingo diote.

rotura por rotura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que le haya causado al otro, igual se hará con él.

fracture pour fracture, oeil pour oeil, dent pour dent; il lui sera fait la même blessure qu'il a faite à son prochain.

'fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has caused disfigurement of a man, so shall it be done to him.

"Aberea hiltzen duenak, aberea itzuliko du; gizakia hiltzen duena heriotzara emango dute.

"El que hiera algún animal ha de restituirlo, pero el que hiere de muerte a un hombre, que muera.

Celui qui tuera un animal le remplacera, mais celui qui tuera un homme sera puni de mort.

'And whoever kills an animal shall restore it; but whoever kills a man shall be put to death.

"Lege bat bera izango duzue etorkinarentzat eta bertakoarentzat, neu bainaiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa".

"Un mismo estatuto tendréis para el extranjero y para el natural, porque yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios".

Vous aurez la même loi, l'étranger comme l'indigène; car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

'You shall have the same law for the stranger and for one from your own country; for I [am] the LORD your God.' "

Moisesek adierazi zizkien aginduok israeldarrei. Hauek Jauna madarikatu zuena kanpalekutik atera eta harrika hil zuten. Honela bete zuten Jaunak Moisesi iragarritako erabakia.

Entonces habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel, y ellos sacaron del campamento al blasfemo y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron según Jehová había mandado a Moisés.

Moïse parla aux enfants d'Israël; ils firent sortir du camp le blasphémateur, et ils le lapidèrent. Les enfants d'Israël se conformèrent à l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné à Moïse.

Then Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they took outside the camp him who had cursed, and stoned him with stones. So the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.

L'Éternel parla à Moïse sur la montagne de Sinaï, et dit:

And the LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying,

"Esan israeldarrei: Emango dizuedan lurraldean sartu ondoren, atseden emango diozue lurrari aldizka, Jaunaren ohorez.

"Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra que yo os doy, la tierra guardará reposo para Jehová.

Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et tu leur diras: Quand vous serez entrés dans le pays que je vous donne, la terre se reposera: ce sera un sabbat en l'honneur de l'Éternel.

"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a sabbath to the LORD.

Sei urtez ereingo duzue zeuen soroetan, sei urtez inausiko mahastiak eta bilduko uztak;

Seis años sembrarás tu tierra, seis años podarás tu viña y recogerás sus frutos.

Pendant six années tu ensemenceras ton champ, pendant six années tu tailleras ta vigne; et tu en recueilleras le produit.

'Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit;

baina zazpigarrenean atseden osoa izango du lurrak; Jaunari sagaraturiko atseden-urtea izango da. Urte horretan ez duzue ereingo soroetan, ez mahastirik inausiko;

Pero el séptimo año la tierra tendrá descanso, reposo para Jehová; no sembrarás tu tierra ni podarás tu viña.

Mais la septième année sera un sabbat, un temps de repos pour la terre, un sabbat en l'honneur de l'Éternel: tu n'ensemenceras point ton champ, et tu ne tailleras point ta vigne.

'but in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the LORD. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard.

ez duzue moztuko azken uztaren ondoren berez erneko den garirik, ezta bilduko ere inausi gabe utzitako mahastien fruiturik: atseden-urtea izango da lurrarentzat.

No segarás lo que de por sí nazca en tu tierra segada, y las uvas de tu viñedo no vendimiarás; año de reposo será para la tierra.

Tu ne moissonneras point ce qui proviendra des grains tombés de ta moisson, et tu ne vendangeras point les raisins de ta vigne non taillée: ce sera une année de repos pour la terre.

'What grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine, [for] it is a year of rest for the land.

Lurraren atsedenaldian ez zaizue faltako zer janik, ez zuei, ez zuen morroi-mirabe eta langileei, ezta zuekin bizi diren etorkinei ere.

Aun en descanso, la tierra te dará de comer a ti, a tu siervo, a tu sierva, a tu criado y al extranjero que habite contigo.

Ce que produira la terre pendant son sabbat vous servira de nourriture, à toi, à ton serviteur et à ta servante, à ton mercenaire et à l'étranger qui demeurent avec toi,

'And the sabbath [produce] of the land shall be food for you: for you, your male and female servants, your hired man, and the stranger who dwells with you,

Zuen abereek eta basabereek, berriz, lurrak berez ematen duena izango dute janari.

También a tu animal y a la bestia que haya en tu tierra, servirán de alimento todos sus frutos.

à ton bétail et aux animaux qui sont dans ton pays; tout son produit servira de nourriture.

'for your livestock and the beasts that [are] in your land -- all its produce shall be for food.

"Konta itzazue zazpi asteko egunak adina urte, zazpi bider zazpi, alegia, berrogeita bederatzi urte guztira.

"Contarás siete semanas de años, siete veces siete años, de modo que los días de las siete semanas de años vendrán a sumar cuarenta y nueve años.

Tu compteras sept sabbats d'années, sept fois sept années, et les jours de ces sept sabbats d'années feront quarante -neuf ans.

' And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.

Aldi horren buruan, zazpigarren hilaren hamarrean, Barkamen Egunean, alegia, adarra joko duzue ozenki lurralde osoan.

Entonces harás tocar fuertemente la trompeta en el séptimo mes; el día diez del mes --el día de la expiación-- haréis tocar la trompeta por toda vuestra tierra.

Le dixième jour du septième mois, tu feras retentir les sons éclatants de la trompette; le jour des expiations, vous sonnerez de la trompette dans tout votre pays.

'Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.

Berrogeita hamargarren urtea urte santutzat hartuko duzue eta "Jubileu Urte" emango diozue izen. Urte horretan askapena aldarrikatuko duzue zeuen lurraldeko biztanle guztientzat: nork bere lurren jabetza berreskuratu ahal izango du, nor bere senitartera itzuliko da.

Así santificaréis el año cincuenta y pregonaréis libertad en la tierra a todos sus habitantes. Ese año os será de jubileo, y volveréis cada uno a vuestra posesión, y cada cual volverá a su familia.

Et vous sanctifierez la cinquantième année, vous publierez la liberté dans le pays pour tous ses habitants: ce sera pour vous le jubilé; chacun de vous retournera dans sa propriété, et chacun de vous retournera dans sa famille.

'And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.

Horrela, bada, berrogeita hamar urtetik berrogeita hamar urtera Jubileu Urtea ospatuko duzue: ez duzue ereingo, ez berez ernetako garirik moztuko, ezta bilduko ere inausi gabe utzitako mahastietan.

El año cincuenta os será jubileo; no sembraréis, ni segaréis lo que nazca de por sí en la tierra, ni vendimiaréis sus viñedos,

La cinquantième année sera pour vous le jubilé: vous ne sèmerez point, vous ne moissonnerez point ce que les champs produiront d'eux-mêmes, et vous ne vendangerez point la vigne non taillée.

'That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather [the grapes] of your untended vine.

Jubileu Urtea izango baita, zuek santutzat hartu beharrekoa. Jan ahal izango duzue, ordea, lurrak berez emango duena.

porque es el jubileo: santo será para vosotros. Del producto de la tierra comeréis.

Car c'est le jubilé: vous le regarderez comme une chose sainte. Vous mangerez le produit de vos champs.

'For it [is] the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.

"Jubileu Urtean zuetako bakoitzak bere lurren jabetza berreskuratuko du.

"En este año de jubileo volveréis cada uno a vuestra posesión.

Dans cette année de jubilé, chacun de vous retournera dans sa propriété.

' In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.

Herritarren artean lur-sailak saltzean nahiz erostean, ez egin kalterik batak besteari:

Cuando vendáis algo a vuestro prójimo o compréis de manos de vuestro prójimo, no engañe ninguno a su hermano.

Si vous vendez à votre prochain, ou si vous achetez de votre prochain, qu'aucun de vous ne trompe son frère.

'And if you sell anything to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor's hand, you shall not oppress one another.

salerosketak egitean, izan kontuan azken Jubileu Urteaz gero igarotako urteak eta hurrengora arte falta direnak:

Conforme al número de los años transcurridos después del jubileo comprarás de tu prójimo; conforme al número de los años de cosecha te venderá él a ti.

Tu achèteras de ton prochain, en comptant les années depuis le jubilé; et il te vendra, en comptant les années de rapport.

'According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor, and according to the number of years of crops he shall sell to you.

zenbat eta urte gehiago falta, hainbat eta handiagoa prezioa; zenbat eta urte gutxiago, hainbat eta txikiagoa prezioa, saltzen dena gelditzen diren uztak baitira.

Cuanto mayor sea el número de los años, aumentarás el precio, y cuanto menor sea el número, disminuirás el precio, porque según el número de las cosechas te venderá él.

Plus il y aura d'années, plus tu élèveras le prix; et moins il y aura d'années, plus tu le réduiras; car c'est le nombre des récoltes qu'il te vend.

'According to the multitude of years you shall increase its price, and according to the fewer number of years you shall diminish its price; for he sells to you [according] to the number [of the years] of the crops.

"Ez biezaio inork herritarrari kalterik egin; horrela erakutsiko duzue begirune diozuela zeuen Jainkoari. Neu naiz Jauna, zuen Jainkoa.

"No engañe ninguno a su prójimo, sino temed a vuestro Dios, porque yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios.

Aucun de vous ne trompera son prochain, et tu craindras ton Dieu; car je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

'Therefore you shall not oppress one another, but you shall fear your God; for I [am] the LORD your God.

Bete nire legeak, gorde nire erabakiak. Bete eta lasai biziko zarete lurraldean.

Ejecutad, pues, mis estatutos y guardad mis ordenanzas; ponedlos por obra y habitaréis en la tierra seguros.

Mettez mes lois en pratique, observez mes ordonnances et mettez-les en pratique; et vous habiterez en sécurité dans le pays.

' So you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them; and you will dwell in the land in safety.

Lurrak zuek ase arte jateko adina uzta emango du, eta kezkarik gabe bizi ahal izango zarete bertan.

La tierra dará su fruto, comeréis hasta saciaros y habitaréis en ella con seguridad.

Le pays donnera ses fruits, vous mangerez à satiété, et vous y habiterez en sécurité.

'Then the land will yield its fruit, and you will eat your fill, and dwell there in safety.

"Behar bada galdegingo duzue: "Zer jango dugu zazpigarren urtean, ezin badugu erein, ez uztarik bildu?"

"Quizás os preguntéis: "¿Qué comeremos el séptimo año, ya que no hemos de sembrar ni hemos de recoger nuestros frutos?".

Si vous dites: Que mangerons -nous la septième année, puisque nous ne sèmerons point et ne ferons point nos récoltes ?

'And if you say, "What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?"

Hara, nik, Jaunak, ondasunez beteko zaituztet seigarren urtean, lurrari aginduko diot hiru urterako adina uzta emateko.

Yo os enviaré mi bendición el sexto año, y ella hará que haya fruto por tres años.

je vous accorderai ma bénédiction la sixième année, et elle donnera des produits pour trois ans.

'Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years.

Zortzigarren urtean berriro ereingo duzue; baina bitartean, bederatzigarren urtean uzta bildu artean, uzta zaharretik jan ahal izango duzue.

En el octavo año sembraréis, y comeréis del fruto añejo; hasta el año noveno, hasta que venga su fruto, comeréis del añejo.

Vous sèmerez la huitième année, et vous mangerez de l'ancienne récolte; jusqu'à la neuvième année, jusqu'à la nouvelle récolte, vous mangerez de l'ancienne.

'And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat old produce until the ninth year; until its produce comes in, you shall eat [of] the old [harvest.]

"Ez da zilegi lurrak behin betiko saltzea, neurea baita lurraldea, eta zuek ez zarete bertan etorkin besterik, nirean ostatuz bizi zaretenak.

"La tierra no se venderá a perpetuidad, porque la tierra mía es, y vosotros como forasteros y extranjeros sois para mí.

Les terres ne se vendront point à perpétuité; car le pays est à moi, car vous êtes chez moi comme étrangers et comme habitants.

' The land shall not be sold permanently, for the land [is] Mine; for you [are] strangers and sojourners with Me.

Beraz, jabetzan emango dizuedan lurraldean, jarri indarrean lurrak berreskuratzeko eskubidea.

Por tanto, en toda tierra de vuestra posesión otorgaréis derecho a rescatar la tierra.

Dans tout le pays dont vous aurez la possession, vous établirez le droit de rachat pour les terres.

'And in all the land of your possession you shall grant redemption of the land.

"Zuetako batek zorrak egin eta lur-sailen bat ezinbestean saltzen badu, haren ahaide hurbilenak berreskuratuko du hark saldutakoa, horretarako eskubidea baitu.

"Si tu hermano empobrece y vende algo de su posesión, entonces su pariente más próximo vendrá y rescatará lo que su hermano haya vendido.

Si ton frère devient pauvre et vend une portion de sa propriété, celui qui a le droit de rachat, son plus proche parent, viendra et rachètera ce qu'a vendu son frère.

' If one of your brethren becomes poor, and has sold [some] of his possession, and if his redeeming relative comes to redeem it, then he may redeem what his brother sold.

Norbaitek, jabetza berreskura diezaiokeen ahaiderik eduki ez arren, bere kabuz horretarako adina diru lortzen badu,

"Cuando el hombre no tenga quien rescate, y consigue lo suficiente para el rescate,

Si un homme n'a personne qui ait le droit de rachat, et qu'il se procure lui-même de quoi faire son rachat,

'Or if the man has no one to redeem it, but he himself becomes able to redeem it,

bere lur-sailaren jabetza berreskuratuko du, hurrengo Jubileu Urtera arte falta diren urteen arabera erosleari zor dion diru-kopurua itzuli ondoren.

entonces contará los años desde que vendió, y pagará lo que falta al hombre a quien vendió, y volverá a su posesión.

il comptera les années depuis la vente, restituera le surplus à l'acquéreur, et retournera dans sa propriété.

'then let him count the years since its sale, and restore the remainder to the man to whom he sold it, that he may return to his possession.

Baina jabetza berreskuratzeko adina diru lortzeko gauza ez bada, eroslearen esku geldituko da Jubileu Urtera arte. Orduan, erosleak ez du jadanik berea izango, eta jatorrizko jabeak berreskuratuko du.

Pero si no consigue lo suficiente para que se la devuelvan, lo que vendió estará en poder del que lo compró hasta el año del jubileo; y al jubileo quedará libre, y él volverá a su posesión.

S'il ne trouve pas de quoi lui faire cette restitution, ce qu'il a vendu restera entre les mains de l'acquéreur jusqu'à l'année du jubilé; au jubilé, il retournera dans sa propriété, et l'acquéreur en sortira.

'But if he is not able to have [it] restored to himself, then what was sold shall remain in the hand of him who bought it until the Year of Jubilee; and in the Jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his possession.

"Harresidun hiri bateko etxebizitza saltzen duenak mugatua du berreskuratzeko eskubidea: salmenta-egunaren ondoko urtean bakarrik berreskura dezake.

"El hombre que venda una vivienda en una ciudad amurallada tendrá facultad de redimirla hasta el término de un año desde la venta; un año entero será el término para poderla redimir.

Si un homme vend une maison d'habitation dans une ville entourée de murs, il aura le droit de rachat jusqu'à l'accomplissement d'une année depuis la vente; son droit de rachat durera un an.

'If a man sells a house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; [within] a full year he may redeem it.

Berreskuratzen ez badu, behin urtea burutuz gero, eroslearen eta beronen ondorengoen esku geldituko da betiko; Jubileu Urtean ere ez dute jabetza galduko.

Y si no es rescatada dentro de ese año, la casa que esté en la ciudad amurallada quedará para siempre en poder de aquel que la compró, y de sus descendientes; no quedará libre en el jubileo.

Mais si cette maison située dans une ville entourée de murs n'est pas rachetée avant l'accomplissement d'une année entière, elle restera à perpétuité à l'acquéreur et à ses descendants; il n'en sortira point au jubilé.

'But if it is not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house in the walled city shall belong permanently to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not be released in the Jubilee.

Aitzitik, harresi gabeko herri irekietako etxeak baserri-lurren arabera hartuko dira: berreskuratze-eskubidea noiznahikoa da eta, dena dela, Jubileu Urtean etxea bere jatorrizko jabeari itzuliko zaio.

Pero las casas de las aldeas que no tienen muros alrededor serán estimadas como los terrenos del campo: podrán ser rescatadas y quedarán libres en el jubileo.

Les maisons des villages non entourés de murs seront considérées comme des fonds de terre; elles pourront être rachetées, et l'acquéreur en sortira au jubilé.

'However the houses of villages which have no wall around them shall be counted as the fields of the country. They may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the Jubilee.

"Lebitarrei dagokienez, noiznahi izango dute lebitar-hirietan dituzten etxeak berreskuratzeko eskubidea.

"Pero en cuanto a las ciudades de los levitas, estos podrán rescatar en cualquier tiempo las casas en las ciudades de su posesión.

Quant aux villes des Lévites et aux maisons qu'ils y posséderont, les Lévites auront droit perpétuel de rachat.

'Nevertheless the cities of the Levites, [and] the houses in the cities of their possession, the Levites may redeem at any time.

Etxea erosi duena beste lebitar bat bada ere, Jubileu Urtean jatorrizko jabeari itzuliko zaio, zeren israeldarren artean lebitarren jabetza bakarra lebitar-hirietako etxeak baitira.

En el jubileo, el que haya comprado de los levitas saldrá de la casa vendida o de la ciudad de su posesión, por cuanto las casas de las ciudades de los levitas son la posesión de ellos entre los hijos de Israel.

Celui qui achètera des Lévites une maison, sortira au jubilé de la maison vendue et de la ville où il la possédait; car les maisons des villes des Lévites sont leur propriété au milieu des enfants d'Israël.

'And if a man purchases a house from the Levites, then the house that was sold in the city of his possession shall be released in the Jubilee; for the houses in the cities of the Levites [are] their possession among the children of Israel.

Lebitar-hirietako herri-lurrak ez daitezke sal, lebitarren behin betiko jabetza baitira.

Pero la tierra del ejido de sus ciudades no se venderá, porque es posesión suya a perpetuidad.

Les champs situés autour des villes des Lévites ne pourront point se vendre; car ils en ont à perpétuité la possession.

'But the field of the common-land of their cities may not be sold, for it [is] their perpetual possession.

"Zuen herritarren bat zorrak egin eta zuekin zituen betebeharrei aurre egin ezinik aurkitzen bada, lagundu egingo diozue eta bizirik irauteko modua emango, zuen artean bizi den etorkinari bezala.

"Si tu hermano empobrece y recurre a ti, tú lo ampararás; como forastero y extranjero vivirá contigo.

Si ton frère devient pauvre, et que sa main fléchisse près de toi, tu le soutiendras; tu feras de même pour celui qui est étranger et qui demeure dans le pays, afin qu'il vive avec toi.

' If one of your brethren becomes poor, and falls into poverty among you, then you shall help him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you.

Ez diozue inolako interesik eskatuko. Horrela erakutsiko duzue begirune diozuela zeuen Jainkoari, eta zuei esker bizi ahal izango da herritarra.

No tomarás de él usura ni ganancia, sino tendrás temor de tu Dios, y tu hermano vivirá contigo.

Tu ne tireras de lui ni intérêt ni usure, tu craindras ton Dieu, et ton frère vivra avec toi.

'Take no usury or interest from him; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you.

Ez eman dirua interesak jasotzeko asmoz, ezta janaria ere etekina ateratzeko.

No le darás tu dinero a usura ni tus víveres a ganancia.

Tu ne lui prêteras point ton argent à intérêt, et tu ne lui prêteras point tes vivres à usure.

'You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food at a profit.

Yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto para daros la tierra de Canaán y para ser vuestro Dios.

Je suis l'Éternel, ton Dieu, qui vous ai fait sortir du pays d'Égypte, pour vous donner le pays de Canaan, pour être votre Dieu.

'I [am] the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan [and] to be your God.

"Si tu hermano empobrece estando contigo, y se vende a ti, no lo harás servir como esclavo.

Si ton frère devient pauvre près de toi, et qu'il se vende à toi, tu ne lui imposeras point le travail d'un esclave.

' And if [one of] your brethren [who dwells] by you becomes poor, and sells himself to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a slave.

Como criado, como extranjero estará contigo; hasta el año del jubileo te servirá.

Il sera chez toi comme un mercenaire, comme celui qui y demeure; il sera à ton service jusqu'à l'année du jubilé.

'As a hired servant [and] a sojourner he shall be with you, [and] shall serve you until the Year of Jubilee.
