Ohartu zen nagusia Josek berekin zuela Jauna eta denetan ongi ateratzen laguntzen ziola.

Vio su amo que Jehová estaba con él, que Jehová lo hacía prosperar en todas sus empresas.

Son maître vit que l'Éternel était avec lui, et que l'Éternel faisait prospérer entre ses mains tout ce qu'il entreprenait.

And his master saw that the LORD [was] with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.

Josek, bada, Potifarren estimua irabazi zuen, eta honek bere zerbitzurako hartu eta etxezain egin zuen eta ondasun guztien arduradun.

Así halló José gracia a sus ojos, y lo servía; lo hizo mayordomo de su casa y entregó en su poder todo lo que tenía.

Joseph trouva grâce aux yeux de son maître, qui l'employa à son service, l'établit sur sa maison, et lui confia tout ce qu'il possédait.

So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all [that] he had he put under his authority.

Orduz gero, Jose zela eta, Jaunak egiptoarraren etxea bedeinkatu egin zuen, etxean nahiz landan zituen gauza guztiak bedeinkatu zituen.

Desde el momento en que le dio el encargo de su casa y de todo lo que tenía, Jehová bendijo la casa del egipcio a causa de José, y la bendición de Jehová estaba sobre todo lo que tenía, tanto en la casa como en el campo.

Dès que Potiphar l'eut établi sur sa maison et sur tout ce qu'il possédait, l'Éternel bénit la maison de l'Égyptien, à cause de Joseph; et la bénédiction de l'Éternel fut sur tout ce qui lui appartenait, soit à la maison, soit aux champs.

So it was, from the time [that] he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in the field.

Il abandonna aux mains de Joseph tout ce qui lui appartenait, et il n'avait avec lui d'autre soin que celui de prendre sa nourriture. Or, Joseph était beau de taille et beau de figure.

Thus he left all that he had in Joseph's hand, and he did not know what he had except for the bread which he ate. Now Joseph was handsome in form and appearance.

Denboralditxo bat iragan ondoren, nagusiaren emazteak Joserengan begiak jarri eta esan zion: -Zatoz nirekin ohera.

y aconteció después de esto, que la mujer de su amo puso sus ojos en José, y le dijo: -- Duerme conmigo.

Après ces choses, il arriva que la femme de son maître porta les yeux sur Joseph, et dit: Couche avec moi!

And it came to pass after these things that his master's wife cast longing eyes on Joseph, and she said, "Lie with me."

Josek ezezkoa eman zion, esanez: -Nire nagusiak ez du etxeko ezeren ardurarik, nire gain utzi baitu den-dena.

Pero él no quiso, y dijo a la mujer de su amo: -- Mi señor no se preocupa conmigo de lo que hay en casa, y ha puesto en mis manos todo lo que tiene.

Il refusa, et dit à la femme de son maître: Voici, mon maître ne prend avec moi connaissance de rien dans la maison, et il a remis entre mes mains tout ce qui lui appartient.

But he refused and said to his master's wife, "Look, my master does not know what [is] with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand.

Etxe honetan ez da ni baino goragokorik, eta ez dit ezer galarazi zeu izan ezik, bere emazte zaituelako. Nolatan egin, bada, halako gaiztakeriarik? Nolatan egin bekatu Jainkoaren aurka?

No hay otro mayor que yo en esta casa, y ninguna cosa me ha reservado sino a ti, por cuanto tú eres su mujer. ¿Cómo, pues, haría yo este gran mal, y pecaría contra Dios?

Il n'est pas plus grand que moi dans cette maison, et il ne m'a rien interdit, excepté toi, parce que tu es sa femme. Comment ferais -je un aussi grand mal et pécherais -je contre Dieu ?

"[There is] no one greater in this house than I, nor has he kept back anything from me but you, because you [are] his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?"

Egunero esan eta esan ari zitzaion arren, Josek ez zion onartu berarekin oheratzea.

Hablaba ella a José cada día, pero él no la escuchaba para acostarse al lado de ella, para estar con ella.

Quoiqu'elle parlât tous les jours à Joseph, il refusa de coucher auprès d'elle, d'être avec elle.

So it was, as she spoke to Joseph day by day, that he did not heed her, to lie with her [or] to be with her.

Pero aconteció un día, cuando entró él en casa a hacer su oficio, que no había nadie de los de casa allí.

Un jour qu'il était entré dans la maison pour faire son ouvrage, et qu 'il n'y avait là aucun des gens de la maison,

But it happened about this time, when Joseph went into the house to do his work, and none of the men of the house [was] inside,

Orduan, nagusiaren emazteak soinekotik heldu eta esan zion: "Zatoz nirekin!" Baina Josek soinekoa haren eskuetan utzi eta ihes egin zuen etxetik.

Entonces ella lo asió por la ropa, diciendo: -- Duerme conmigo. Pero él, dejando su ropa en las manos de ella, huyó y salió.

elle le saisit par son vêtement, en disant: Couche avec moi! Il lui laissa son vêtement dans la main, et s'enfuit au dehors.

that she caught him by his garment, saying, "Lie with me." But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside.

Andreak, bere eskuetan soinekoa utzita kanpora ihes egin ziola ikusirik,

Cuando ella vio que le había dejado la ropa en sus manos y había huido fuera,

Lorsqu'elle vit qu'il lui avait laissé son vêtement dans la main, et qu'il s'était enfui dehors,

And so it was, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand and fled outside,

etxeko zerbitzariei oihu egin zien, deiadarka esanez: "Begira hebertar hau! Gure lepotik barre egiteko ekarri digute! Nirekin oheratu nahi zuen, baina oihuka hasi natzaio

llamó a los de casa, y les dijo: -- Mirad, nos ha traído un hebreo para que hiciera burla de nosotros. Ha venido a mí para dormir conmigo, y yo di grandes voces.

elle appela les gens de sa maison, et leur dit: Voyez, il nous a amené un Hébreu pour se jouer de nous. Cet homme est venu vers moi pour coucher avec moi; mais j'ai crié à haute voix.

that she called to the men of her house and spoke to them, saying, "See, he has brought in to us a Hebrew to mock us. He came in to me to lie with me, and I cried out with a loud voice.

eta, nire oihu eta deiadarrak entzutean, bere soinekoa utzi eta ihes egin du kanpora".

Al ver que yo alzaba la voz y gritaba, dejó junto a mí su ropa, y salió huyendo.

Et quand il a entendu que j'élevais la voix et que je criais, il a laissé son vêtement à côté de moi et s'est enfui dehors.

"And it happened, when he heard that I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment with me, and fled and went outside."

Bere aldamenean ezarri zuen Joseren soinekoa, senarra etxeratu arte.

Puso ella junto a sí la ropa de José, hasta que llegó su señor a la casa.

Et elle posa le vêtement de Joseph à côté d'elle, jusqu'à ce que son maître rentrât à la maison.

So she kept his garment with her until his master came home.

Honi gauza bera kontatu zion: "Zuk ekarri diguzun esklabo hebertar hori nirekin gozatzeko asmoz etorri zait,

Entonces le repitió las mismas palabras, diciendo: -- El siervo hebreo que nos trajiste, vino a mí para deshonrarme.

Alors elle lui parla ainsi: L'esclave hébreu que tu nous as amené est venu vers moi pour se jouer de moi.

Then she spoke to him with words like these, saying, "The Hebrew servant whom you brought to us came in to me to mock me;

baina oihuka eta deiadarka hasi naizenean, bere soinekoa utzi eta ihes egin du kanpora".

Y cuando yo alcé mi voz y grité, él dejó su ropa junto a mí y huyó fuera.

Et comme j'ai élevé la voix et que j'ai crié, il a laissé son vêtement à côté de moi et s'est enfui dehors.

"so it happened, as I lifted my voice and cried out, that he left his garment with me and fled outside."

"Hara zer egin didan zure esklaboak" ziotson emazteak. Hitz hauek aditzean, haserre bizitan jarri zen nagusia.

Al oir el amo de José las palabras de su mujer, que decía: "Así me ha tratado tu siervo", se encendió su furor.

Après avoir entendu les paroles de sa femme, qui lui disait: Voilà ce que m'a fait ton esclave ! le maître de Joseph fut enflammé de colère.

So it was, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, "Your servant did to me after this manner," that his anger was aroused.

Jose atxilotu eta erregearen presoak zeuden kartzelan sartu zuen. Jose kartzelan preso zegoen.

Tomó su amo a José y lo puso en la cárcel, donde estaban los presos del rey; y allí lo mantuvo.

Il prit Joseph, et le mit dans la prison, dans le lieu où les prisonniers du roi étaient enfermés: il fut là, en prison.

Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners [were] confined. And he was there in the prison.

Alabaina, Jauna berekin zuen eta bere onginahia agertu zion. Hala, kartzelako arduradunaren estimua irabazi ahal izan zuen,

Pero Jehová estaba con José y extendió a él su misericordia, pues hizo que se ganara el favor del jefe de la cárcel.

L'Éternel fut avec Joseph, et il étendit sur lui sa bonté. Il le mit en faveur aux yeux du chef de la prison.

But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

eta honek bere gain utzi zion preso guztien ardura. Han barruan egiten zen guztia, Joseren aginduz egiten zen.

El jefe de la cárcel puso en manos de José el cuidado de todos los presos que había en aquella prisión; todo lo que se hacía allí, él lo hacía.

Et le chef de la prison plaça sous sa surveillance tous les prisonniers qui étaient dans la prison; et rien ne s'y faisait que par lui.

And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners who [were] in the prison; whatever they did there, it was his doing.

Kartzelako arduradunak ez zion Joseri bere gain utzitako ezeren konturik eskatzen. Berekin zuen, bai, Jauna, eta egiten zuen guztietan ongi ateratzen laguntzen zion.

No necesitaba atender el jefe de la cárcel cosa alguna de las que estaban al cuidado de José, porque Jehová estaba con José, y lo que él hacía, Jehová lo prosperaba.

Le chef de la prison ne prenait aucune connaissance de ce que Joseph avait en main, parce que l'Éternel était avec lui. Et l'Éternel donnait de la réussite à ce qu'il faisait.

The keeper of the prison did not look into anything [that was] under [Joseph's] authority, because the LORD was with him; and whatever he did, the LORD made [it] prosper.

Gertakari hauen ondoren, Egiptoko erregearen edarizain eta okinen arduradunek iraindu egin zuten beren nagusi erregea.

Aconteció después de estas cosas, que el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto delinquieron contra su señor, el rey de Egipto.

Après ces choses, il arriva que l'échanson et le panetier du roi d'Égypte, offensèrent leur maître, le roi d'Égypte.

It came to pass after these things [that] the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their lord, the king of Egypt.

Haserretu zen faraoia bi zerbitzarion aurka

Y se enojó el faraón contra sus dos oficiales, el jefe de los coperos y el jefe de los panaderos,

Pharaon fut irrité contre ses deux officiers, le chef des échansons et le chef des panetiers.

And Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief butler and the chief baker.

eta atxilotu egin zituen guardaburuaren etxeko kartzelan ezarriz, Jose preso zegoen tokian hain zuzen.

y los puso en prisión en la casa del capitán de la guardia, en la cárcel donde José estaba preso.

et il les mit aux arrêts dans la maison du grand sommelier, dans la forteresse, le lieu même où Joseph était détenu.

So he put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Joseph [was] confined.

Guardaburuak Joseren ardurapean utzi zituen. Denboraldi bat preso egon ondoren,

El capitán de la guardia encargó de ellos a José, para que los sirviera; y estuvieron durante un tiempo en la prisión.

Le chef des gardes les plaça sous la surveillance de Joseph, qui faisait le service auprès d'eux; et ils passèrent un certain temps en prison.

And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them; so they were in custody for a while.

bi zerbitzariek amets egin zuten gau berean; bakoitzaren ametsak bere esanahi berezia zuen.

Sucedió que ambos, el copero y el panadero del rey de Egipto, que estaban arrestados en la prisión, tuvieron un sueño en la misma noche, cada uno su propio sueño, cada uno con su propio significado.

Pendant une même nuit, l'échanson et le panetier du roi d'Égypte, qui étaient enfermés dans la prison, eurent tous les deux un songe, chacun le sien, pouvant recevoir une explication distincte.

Then the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who [were] confined in the prison, had a dream, both of them, each man's dream in one night [and] each man's dream with its [own] interpretation.

Goizean etortzean, kezkati aurkitu zituen Josek

Vino a ellos José por la mañana y vio que estaban tristes.

Joseph, étant venu le matin vers eux, les regarda; et voici, ils étaient tristes.

And Joseph came in to them in the morning and looked at them, and saw that they [were] sad.

bere nagusiaren etxean kartzelatuak zeuden faraoiaren funtzionarioak eta galdegin zien: -Zergatik zaudete hain aurpegi-ilun?

Entonces preguntó a aquellos oficiales del faraón que estaban con él en la prisión de la casa de su señor: -- ¿Por qué tienen hoy mal aspecto vuestros semblantes?

Alors il questionna les officiers de Pharaon, qui étaient avec lui dans la prison de son maître, et il leur dit: Pourquoi avez-vous mauvais visage aujourd'hui ?

So he asked Pharaoh's officers who [were] with him in the custody of his lord's house, saying, "Why do you look [so] sad today?"

Haiek erantzun zioten: -Amets egin dugu, eta ezin digu inork esanahia argitu. Josek esan zien: -Jainkoari dagokio ametsen esanahia argitzea. Ea, konta iezazkidazue.

Ellos le dijeron: -- Hemos tenido un sueño y no hay quien lo interprete. José les dijo: -- ¿No son de Dios las interpretaciones? Contádmelo ahora.

Ils lui répondirent: Nous avons eu un songe, et il n'y a personne pour l'expliquer. Joseph leur dit: N'est-ce pas à Dieu qu'appartiennent les explications ? Racontez -moi donc votre songe.

And they said to him, "We each have had a dream, and [there is] no interpreter of it." So Joseph said to them, "Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell [them] to me, please."

Edarizain-arduradunak bere ametsa kontatu zion: -Niri, neure ametsean, mahatsondo bat agertu zitzaidan;

Entonces el jefe de los coperos contó su sueño a José, y le dijo: -- Yo soñaba que veía una vid delante de mí

Le chef des échansons raconta son songe à Joseph, et lui dit: Dans mon songe, voici, il y avait un cep devant moi.

Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, "Behold, in my dream a vine [was] before me,

hiru aihen zituen mahatsondoak. Kimuberritu zen, loratu eta ondu egin ziren mahats-mordoak.

y en la vid, tres sarmientos; y ella echaba brotes, florecía y maduraban sus racimos de uvas.

Ce cep avait trois sarments. Quand il eut poussé, sa fleur se développa et ses grappes donnèrent des raisins mûrs.

"and in the vine [were] three branches; it [was] as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes.

Nik faraoiaren edalontzia nuen eskuan; mahats-mordoak hartu nituen eta, edalontzi gainean zukuturik, edalontzia faraoiaren eskuetan ezarri nuen.

Y que la copa del faraón estaba en mi mano, y tomando yo las uvas las exprimía en la copa del faraón, y ponía la copa en la mano del faraón.

La coupe de Pharaon était dans ma main. Je pris les raisins, je les pressai dans la coupe de Pharaon, et je mis la coupe dans la main de Pharaon.

"Then Pharaoh's cup [was] in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand."

Josek esan zion: -Hona argibidea. Hiru aihenek hiru egun adierazten dute.

José le dijo: -- Esta es su interpretación: los tres sarmientos son tres días.

Joseph lui dit: En voici l'explication. Les trois sarments sont trois jours.

And Joseph said to him, "This [is] the interpretation of it: The three branches [are] three days.

Hiru egun barru, faraoiak goraltxatu egingo zaitu eta lehengo karguan jarriko: faraoiaren eskuetan edalontzia ipiniko duzu, edarizain-arduradun zinenean bezala.

Al cabo de tres días levantará el faraón tu cabeza, te restituirá a tu puesto y darás la copa al faraón en su mano, como solías hacer cuando eras su copero.

Encore trois jours, et Pharaon relèvera ta tête et te rétablira dans ta charge; tu mettras la coupe dans la main de Pharaon, comme tu en avais l'habitude lorsque tu étais son échanson.

"Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh's cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler.

Oroit zaitez nitaz orduan, ongi doakizunean; egidazu, arren, mesede hau: mintza zakizkio faraoiari nire alde, hemendik atera nazan.

Acuérdate, pues, de mí cuando te vaya bien; te ruego que tengas misericordia y hagas mención de mí al faraón, y que me saques de esta casa,

Mais souviens -toi de moi, quand tu seras heureux, et montre, je te prie, de la bonté à mon égard; parle en ma faveur à Pharaon, et fais-moi sortir de cette maison.

"But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house.

Indarrez bahitu ninduten israeldarren lurraldean, eta hemen ere ez dut kartzelan sartzea merezi duenik deus egin.

porque fui raptado de la tierra de los hebreos y nada he hecho aquí para que me pusieran en la cárcel.

Car j'ai été enlevé du pays des Hébreux, et ici même je n'ai rien fait pour être mis en prison.

"For indeed I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; and also I have done nothing here that they should put me into the dungeon."

Joseren argibidea egokia zela ikusirik, okin-arduradunak esan zion: -Ba, nik neure ametsean hiru saski opil neuzkan buru gainean.

Viendo el jefe de los panaderos que aquella interpretación había sido para bien, dijo a José: -- También yo soñé que veía tres canastillos blancos sobre mi cabeza.

Le chef des panetiers, voyant que Joseph avait donné une explication favorable, dit: Voici, il y avait aussi, dans mon songe, trois corbeilles de pain blanc sur ma tête.

When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, "I also [was] in my dream, and there [were] three white baskets on my head.

Goreneko saskian, faraoiarentzat okinak egin ohi dituen jaki guztietatik zegoen, eta txoriek nire buru gaineko saskitik jaten zuten.

En el canastillo más alto había toda clase de manjares de pastelería para el faraón, y las aves los comían del canastillo de sobre mi cabeza.

Dans la corbeille la plus élevée il y avait pour Pharaon des mets de toute espèce, cuits au four; et les oiseaux les mangeaient dans la corbeille au-dessus de ma tête.

"In the uppermost basket [were] all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head."

Josek esan zion: -Hona argibidea. Hiru saskiok hiru egun adierazten dute.

Entonces respondió José, y dijo: -- Esta es su interpretación: Los tres canastillos son tres días.

Joseph répondit, et dit: En voici l'explication. Les trois corbeilles sont trois jours.

So Joseph answered and said, "This [is] the interpretation of it: The three baskets [are] three days.

Hiru egun barru, faraoiak goraltxatu egingo zaitu: zuhaitz batetik urkatuko zaitu eta txoriek haragia jango dizute.

Al cabo de tres días quitará el faraón tu cabeza de sobre ti. Te hará colgar en la horca, y las aves comerán la carne que te cubre.

Encore trois jours, et Pharaon enlèvera ta tête de dessus toi, te fera pendre à un bois, et les oiseaux mangeront ta chair.

"Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head from you and hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from you."

Hiru egunen buruan, faraoiak urtebetetze-eguna ospatu zuen eta bazkari eder bat antolatu bere funtzionario guztientzat. Hauen aurrean edarizainen eta okinen arduradunak goraltxatu zituen:

Al tercer día, que era el día del cumpleaños del faraón, el rey ofreció un banquete a todos sus sirvientes; y alzó la cabeza del jefe de los coperos y la cabeza del jefe de los panaderos en presencia de sus servidores.

Le troisième jour, jour de la naissance de Pharaon, il fit un festin à tous ses serviteurs; et il éleva la tête du chef des échansons et la tête du chef des panetiers, au milieu de ses serviteurs:

Now it came to pass on the third day, [which was] Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

edarizain-arduraduna bere karguan ezarri zuen berriro, faraoiari edaria zerbitzatzeko;

Hizo volver a su oficio al jefe de los coperos, y volvió este a poner la copa en la mano del faraón.

il rétablit le chef des échansons dans sa charge d'échanson, pour qu'il mît la coupe dans la main de Pharaon;

Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh's hand.

okin-arduraduna, aldiz, urkarazi egin zuen, Josek adierazi bezala.

Pero hizo ahorcar al jefe de los panaderos, como José lo había interpretado.

mais il fit pendre le chef des panetiers, selon l'explication que Joseph leur avait donnée.

But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them.

Edarizain-arduraduna, ordea, ez zen Josez batere oroitu.

Sin embargo, el jefe de los coperos no se acordó de José, sino que lo olvidó.

Le chef des échansons ne pensa plus à Joseph. Il l'oublia.

Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.

Handik bi urtera, amets bat izan zuen faraoiak.

Aconteció, pasados dos años, que el faraón tuvo un sueño. Le parecía que estaba junto al río,

Au bout de deux ans, Pharaon eut un songe. Voici, il se tenait près du fleuve.

Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river.

Nilo ibai ondoan zegoela, Nilotik atera eta ibai-ertzean larrean hasi ziren zazpi behi ikusi zituen, itxura ederrekoak eta guriak.

y que del río subían siete vacas hermosas a la vista, muy gordas, y que pacían en el prado.

Et voici, sept vaches belles à voir et grasses de chair montèrent hors du fleuve, et se mirent à paître dans la prairie.

Suddenly there came up out of the river seven cows, fine looking and fat; and they fed in the meadow.

Ondoren, beste zazpi behi irten ziren Nilotik, itxura txarrekoak eta argalak, eta beste behien ondoan jarri ziren, ibai-ertzean.

Tras ellas subían del río otras siete vacas de feo aspecto y enjutas de carne, que se pararon cerca de las vacas hermosas a la orilla del río;

Sept autres vaches laides à voir et maigres de chair montèrent derrière elles hors du fleuve, et se tinrent à leurs côtés sur le bord du fleuve.

Then behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ugly and gaunt, and stood by the [other] cows on the bank of the river.

Itxura txarreko eta argal hauek irentsi egin zituzten beste eder eta guri haiek. Une horretan, esnatu egin zen faraoia.

y las vacas de feo aspecto y enjutas de carne devoraban a las siete vacas hermosas y muy gordas. El faraón se despertó,

Les vaches laides à voir et maigres de chair mangèrent les sept vaches belles à voir et grasses de chair. Et Pharaon s'éveilla.

And the ugly and gaunt cows ate up the seven fine looking and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke.

Il se rendormit, et il eut un second songe. Voici, sept épis gras et beaux montèrent sur une même tige.

He slept and dreamed a second time; and suddenly seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, plump and good.

y después de ellas salían otras siete espigas menudas y quemadas por el viento del este;

Et sept épis maigres et brûlés par le vent d'orient poussèrent après eux.

Then behold, seven thin heads, blighted by the east wind, sprang up after them.

Zazpi galburu meharrok irentsi egin zituzten beste aletsu eta bete haiek. Une horretan esnatu eta ametsa izan zela ohartu zen faraoia.

y las siete espigas menudas devoraban a las siete espigas gruesas y llenas. El faraón se despertó y vio que era un sueño.

Les épis maigres engloutirent les sept épis gras et pleins. Et Pharaon s'éveilla. Voilà le songe.

And the seven thin heads devoured the seven plump and full heads. So Pharaoh awoke, and indeed, [it was] a dream.
