Entonces Josué habló a Jehová, el día en que Jehová entregó al amorreo delante de los hijos de Israel, y dijo en presencia de los israelitas: "Sol, detente en Gabaón, y tú, luna, en el valle de Ajalón".

Alors Josué parla à l'Éternel, le jour où l'Éternel livra les Amoréens aux enfants d'Israël, et il dit en présence d'Israël: Soleil, arrête -toi sur Gabaon, Et toi, lune, sur la vallée d'Ajalon !

Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon."

So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. [Is] this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go [down] for about a whole day.

Ez zen aurretik izan, ez eta geroztik ere izango, egun hura bezalakorik: egun hartan Jaunak gizon baten esana egin zuen, Israelen alde borrokan ari baitzen Jauna.

No hubo un día como aquel, ni antes ni después de él, en que Jehová haya obedecido a la voz de un hombre, porque Jehová peleaba por Israel.

Il n'y a point eu de jour comme celui-là, ni avant ni après, où l'Éternel ait écouté la voix d'un homme; car l'Éternel combattait pour Israël.

And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of a man; for the LORD fought for Israel.

Ondoren, Josue israeldar guztiekin Gilgaleko kanpalekura itzuli zen.

Josué volvió junto con todo Israel al campamento en Gilgal.

Et Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, retourna au camp à Guilgal.

Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp at Gilgal.

Bost errege amortarrak, ihes egin eta Makedan, leize-zulo batean, gorde ziren.

Aquellos cinco reyes huyeron y se escondieron en una cueva en Maceda.

Les cinq rois s'enfuirent, et se cachèrent dans une caverne à Makkéda.

But these five kings had fled and hidden themselves in a cave at Makkedah.

Josueri jakinarazi zioten: -Makedan aurkitu ditugu bost erregeak, leize-zulo batean gordeta.

Cuando se le avisó que los cinco reyes habían sido hallados escondidos en una cueva en Maceda,

On le rapporta à Josué, en disant: Les cinq rois se trouvent cachés dans une caverne à Makkéda.

And it was told Joshua, saying, "The five kings have been found hidden in the cave at Makkedah."

Josuek agindu zuen: "Eraman biraka harri handi batzuk leize-ahoraino eta ezarri bertan zaintzaileak.

Josué dijo: "Rodad grandes piedras hasta la entrada de la cueva y poned hombres junto a ella para que los custodien.

Josué dit: Roulez de grosses pierres à l'entrée de la caverne, et mettez -y des hommes pour les garder.

So Joshua said, "Roll large stones against the mouth of the cave, and set men by it to guard them.

Y vosotros no os detengáis, sino seguid a vuestros enemigos y heridles la retaguardia, sin dejarlos entrar en sus ciudades, porque Jehová, vuestro Dios, los ha entregado en vuestras manos".

Et vous, ne vous arrêtez pas, poursuivez vos ennemis, et attaquez-les par derrière; ne les laissez pas entrer dans leurs villes, car l'Éternel, votre Dieu, les a livrés entre vos mains.

"And do not stay [there] yourselves, [but] pursue your enemies, and attack their rear [guard.] Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the LORD your God has delivered them into your hand."

Horrela, Josuek eta israeldarrek sarraski handia egin zuten etsaien artean, ia denak hiltzeraino. Hala ere, batzuek ihes egin zieten eta beren hiri-gotorretan babestu ziren.

Après que Josué et les enfants d'Israël leur eurent fait éprouver une très grande défaite, et les eurent complètement battus, ceux qui purent échapper se sauvèrent dans les villes fortifiées,

Then it happened, while Joshua and the children of Israel made an end of slaying them with a very great slaughter, till they had finished, that those who escaped entered fortified cities.

Israeldar gudariak onik itzuli ziren Josuerengana, Makedako kanpalekura. Inor ez zen israeldarren kontra hitzik ere egitera ausartu.

Todo el pueblo volvió sano y salvo al campamento de Josué en Maceda, y nadie se atrevió a mover su lengua contra ninguno de los hijos de Israel.

et tout le peuple revint tranquillement au camp vers Josué à Makkéda, sans que personne remuât sa langue contre les enfants d'Israël.

And all the people returned to the camp, to Joshua at Makkedah, in peace. No one moved his tongue against any of the children of Israel.

Gero, Josuek agindu zuen: "Ireki leize-zuloko ahoa eta ekarri niregana bost errege horiek".

Entonces dijo Josué: "Abrid la entrada de la cueva y sacad de ella a esos cinco reyes".

Josué dit alors: Ouvrez l'entrée de la caverne, faites-en sortir ces cinq rois, et amenez-les-moi.

Then Joshua said, "Open the mouth of the cave, and bring out those five kings to me from the cave."

Halaxe egin zuten. Bost erregeak -Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmut, Lakix eta Eglongoa- leize-zulotik atera

Así lo hicieron; sacaron de la cueva a aquellos cinco reyes: al rey de Jerusalén, al rey de Hebrón, al rey de Jarmut, al rey de Laquis y al rey de Eglón.

Ils firent ainsi, et lui amenèrent les cinq rois qu'ils avaient fait sortir de la caverne, le roi de Jérusalem, le roi d'Hébron, le roi de Jarmuth, le roi de Lakis, le roi d'Églon.

And they did so, and brought out those five kings to him from the cave: the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, [and] the king of Eglon.

eta Josuerengana eraman zituzten. Josuek israeldar guztiei dei egin eta guduan berarekin ibilitako gudalburuei agindu hau eman zien: "Hurbil zaitezte eta zapaldu errege hauei lepoa". Halaxe egin zuten.

So it was, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the captains of the men of war who went with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." And they drew near and put their feet on their necks.

"No temáis, ni os atemoricéis -- les dijo Josué -- ; sed fuertes y valientes, porque así hará Jehová con todos los enemigos contra los cuales peleáis".

Josué leur dit: Ne craignez point et ne vous effrayez point, fortifiez -vous et ayez du courage, car c'est ainsi que l'Éternel traitera tous vos ennemis contre lesquels vous combattez.

Then Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight."

Ondoren, Josuek hil egin zituen bost erregeak eta zuhaitz banatatik zintzilik ezarri arratsera arte.

Después de esto, Josué los hirió, los mató y los hizo colgar en cinco maderos. Allí quedaron colgados hasta caer la noche.

Après cela, Josué les frappa et les fit mourir; il les pendit à cinq arbres, et ils restèrent pendus aux arbres jusqu'au soir.

And afterward Joshua struck them and killed them, and hanged them on five trees; and they were hanging on the trees until evening.

Eguzkia sartzean, zuhaitzetatik eraisteko eta gorderik egon ziren leize-zulora botatzeko agindu zuen Josuek. Gero, harri handiak ezarriz, itxi egin zuten leize-ahoa. Han dira oraindik ere harriak.

Cuando el sol se iba a poner, mandó Josué que los descolgaran de los maderos y los echaran en la cueva donde se habían escondido. Y pusieron grandes piedras a la entrada de la cueva, las cuales permanecen hasta hoy.

Vers le coucher du soleil, Josué ordonna qu'on les descendît des arbres, on les jeta dans la caverne où ils s'étaient cachés, et l'on mit à l'entrée de la caverne de grosses pierres, qui y sont demeurées jusqu'à ce jour.

So it was at the time of the going down of the sun [that] Joshua commanded, and they took them down from the trees, cast them into the cave where they had been hidden, and laid large stones against the cave's mouth, [which remain] until this very day.

Josué prit Makkéda le même jour, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée; il dévoua par interdit le roi, la ville et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; il n'en laissa échapper aucun, et il traita le roi de Makkéda comme il avait traité le roi de Jéricho.

On that day Joshua took Makkedah, and struck it and its king with the edge of the sword. He utterly destroyed them -- all the people who [were] in it. He let none remain. He also did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Makedatik Libnara jo zuen Josuek israeldar guztiekin eta eraso egin zion.

De Maceda pasó Josué, con todo Israel, a Libna, y la atacó.

Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, passa de Makkéda à Libna, et il attaqua Libna.

Then Joshua passed from Makkedah, and all Israel with him, to Libnah; and they fought against Libnah.

Y Jehová la entregó también, junto con su rey, en manos de Israel, que la pasó a filo de espada, con todo lo que en ella tenía vida, sin dejar nada, e hizo con su rey de la manera como había hecho con el rey de Jericó.

L'Éternel la livra aussi, avec son roi, entre les mains d'Israël, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; il n'en laissa échapper aucun, et il traita son roi comme il avait traité le roi de Jéricho.

And the LORD also delivered it and its king into the hand of Israel; he struck it and all the people who [were] in it with the edge of the sword. He let none remain in it, but did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Libnatik Lakixera jo zuen Josuek israeldar guztiekin; hiria inguratu eta eraso egin zion.

Después Josué, con todo Israel, pasó de Libna a Laquis, acampó cerca de ella y la atacó.

Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, passa de Libna à Lakis; il campa devant elle, et il l'attaqua.

Then Joshua passed from Libnah, and all Israel with him, to Lachish; and they encamped against it and fought against it.

Jaunak eskura eman zien hiria eta setiaketaren bigarren egunean hartu zuten; bizilagun guztiak ezpataz hil zituzten, Libnan bezala.

Jehová entregó también a Laquis en manos de Israel, quien la tomó al día siguiente y la pasó a filo de espada con todo lo que en ella tenía vida, tal como había hecho en Libna.

L'Éternel livra Lakis entre les mains d'Israël, qui la prit le second jour, et la frappa du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, comme il avait traité Libna.

And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of Israel, who took it on the second day, and struck it and all the people who [were] in it with the edge of the sword, according to all that he had done to Libnah.

Horam, Gezerko erregea, Lakixi laguntzera etorri zen; baina Josuek garaitu egin zituen bera eta beraren gudaroste osoa, bat ere bizirik utzi gabe.

Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua struck him and his people, until he left him none remaining.

De Laquis pasó Josué, con todo Israel, a Eglón. Acamparon cerca de ella y la atacaron.

From Lachish Joshua passed to Eglon, and all Israel with him; and they encamped against it and fought against it.

Ese mismo día la tomaron y la pasaron a filo de espada. Aquel día mató a todo lo que en ella tenía vida, como había hecho en Laquis.

Ils la prirent le même jour, et la frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée, elle et tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient; Josué la dévoua par interdit le jour même, comme il avait traité Lakis.

They took it on that day and struck it with the edge of the sword; all the people who [were] in it he utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.

Eglondik Hebronera jo zuen Josuek israeldar guztiekin, eta eraso egin zion.

Subió luego Josué, con todo Israel, de Eglón a Hebrón, y la atacaron.

Josué, et tout Israël avec lui, monta d'Églon à Hébron, et ils l'attaquèrent.

So Joshua went up from Eglon, and all Israel with him, to Hebron; and they fought against it.

And they took it and struck it with the edge of the sword -- its king, all its cities, and all the people who [were] in it; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon, but utterly destroyed it and all the people who [were] in it.

Then Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and they fought against it.

Il la prit, elle, son roi, et toutes les villes qui en dépendaient; ils les frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée, et ils dévouèrent par interdit tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, sans en laisser échapper aucun; Josué traita Debir et son roi comme il avait traité Hébron et comme il avait traité Libna et son roi.

And he took it and its king and all its cities; they struck them with the edge of the sword and utterly destroyed all the people who [were] in it. He left none remaining; as he had done to Hebron, so he did to Debir and its king, as he had done also to Libnah and its king.

Honela, Josue lurralde osoaz jabetu zen: mendialdeaz, Negev basamortuaz, Xefela lautadaz eta alderdi menditsuez, eta errege guztiak hil zituzten. Erabat suntsitu zituen bizidun guztiak, bat ere utzi gabe, Jaunak, Israelen Jainkoak, agindu bezala.

Conquistó, pues, Josué toda la región de las montañas, el Neguev, los llanos y las laderas, y a todos sus reyes, sin dejar nada; todo lo que tenía vida lo exterminó, como Jehová, Dios de Israel, se lo había mandado.

Josué battit tout le pays, la montagne, le midi, la plaine et les coteaux, et il en battit tous les rois; il ne laissa échapper personne, et il dévoua par interdit tout ce qui respirait, comme l'avait ordonné l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.

So Joshua conquered all the land: the mountain country and the South and the lowland and the wilderness slopes, and all their kings; he left none remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded.

Kadex-Barnea eta Gazatik Goxen eta Gabaonerainoko lurralde osoaz jabetu zen.

Los batió Josué desde Cades-barnea hasta Gaza, y toda la tierra de Gosén hasta Gabaón.

Josué les battit de Kadès-Barnéa à Gaza, il battit tout le pays de Gosen jusqu'à Gabaon.

And Joshua conquered them from Kadesh Barnea as far as Gaza, and all the country of Goshen, even as far as Gibeon.

Ekitaldi bakar batean garaitu zituen Josuek errege haiek guztiak eta beraien herrialdeak, Jauna, Israelen Jainkoa, ari baitzen Israelen alde borrokan.

Todos estos reyes y sus tierras los tomó Josué de una vez, porque Jehová, el Dios de Israel, peleaba por Israel.

Josué prit en même temps tous ces rois et leur pays, car l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, combattait pour Israël.

All these kings and their land Joshua took at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.

And it came to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor heard [these things,] that he sent to Jobab king of Madon, to the king of Shimron, to the king of Achshaph,

and to the kings who [were] from the north, in the mountains, in the plain south of Chinneroth, in the lowland, and in the heights of Dor on the west,

orobat, ekialdeko eta mendebaldeko kanaandarrei, mendialdean bizi ziren amortar, hitita, periztar eta jebustarrei eta Hermon mendiaren oinetan, Mitzpa eskualdean, bizi ziren hibiarrei ere.

al cananeo que estaba al oriente y al occidente, al amorreo, al heteo, al ferezeo, al jebuseo en las montañas, y al heveo al pie de Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.

aux Cananéens de l'orient et de l'occident, aux Amoréens, aux Héthiens, aux Phéréziens, aux Jébusiens dans la montagne, et aux Héviens au pied de l'Hermon dans le pays de Mitspa.

to the Canaanites in the east and in the west, the Amorite, the Hittite, the Perizzite, the Jebusite in the mountains, and the Hivite below Hermon in the land of Mizpah.

Errege haiek beren gudarosteekin atera ziren: itsasbazterreko hondarra baino ugariago ziren eta zaldi eta gudu-gurdi asko zuten.

Estos salieron con todos sus ejércitos, una multitud tan numerosa como la arena que está a la orilla del mar, con muchísimos caballos y carros de guerra.

Ils sortirent, eux et toutes leurs armées avec eux, formant un peuple innombrable comme le sable qui est sur le bord de la mer, et ayant des chevaux et des chars en très grande quantité.

So they went out, they and all their armies with them, [as] many people [as] the sand that [is] on the seashore in multitude, with very many horses and chariots.

Denek bat egin eta Merom izeneko aintzira ondoan ezarri zuten kanpalekua, israeldarrak borrokatzeko asmoz.

Todos estos reyes se unieron, llegaron y acamparon unidos junto a las aguas de Merom para pelear contra Israel.

Tous ces rois fixèrent un lieu de réunion, et vinrent camper ensemble près des eaux de Mérom, pour combattre contre Israël.

And when all these kings had met together, they came and camped together at the waters of Merom to fight against Israel.

Jaunak, ordea, esan zion Josueri: "Ez izan horien beldur! Bihar, ordu honetan, hilda utziko ditut israeldarren aurrean; zuk ebaki horien zaldien hanka-zainak eta erre gudu-gurdiak".

Pero Jehová dijo a Josué: "No les tengas temor, porque mañana a esta hora yo los entregaré a todos muertos delante de Israel; desjarretarás sus caballos y quemarás sus carros en el fuego".

L'Éternel dit à Josué: Ne les crains point, car demain, à ce moment -ci, je les livrerai tous frappés devant Israël. Tu couperas les jarrets à leurs chevaux, et tu brûleras au feu leurs chars.

But the LORD said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow about this time I will deliver all of them slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire."

Josuek, bere gudari guztiekin Merom aintzirara joan eta ustekabean eraso zien.

Josué, con toda su gente de guerra, se lanzó de repente contra ellos junto a las aguas de Merom.

So Joshua and all the people of war with him came against them suddenly by the waters of Merom, and they attacked them.

Jaunak eskura eman zizkien israeldarrei eta hauek porrokatu eta pertsegitu egin zituzten Sidon hiribururaino eta Misrefot-Maim hiriraino eta, ekialdetik, Mitzpako haraneraino. Denak hil zituzten, bat ere bizirik utzi gabe.

Jehová los entregó en manos de Israel, que los hirió y los persiguió hasta Sidón la grande, hasta Misrefotmaim y el llano de Mizpa, al oriente. Los hirió hasta no dejar ninguno con vida.

L'Éternel les livra entre les mains d'Israël; ils les battirent et les poursuivirent jusqu'à Sidon la grande, jusqu'à Misrephoth-Maïm, et jusqu'à la vallée de Mitspa vers l'orient; ils les battirent, sans en laisser échapper aucun.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who defeated them and chased them to Greater Sidon, to the Brook Misrephoth, and to the Valley of Mizpah eastward; they attacked them until they left none of them remaining.

Jaunak agindu bezala, hanka-zainak ebaki zizkien Josuek zaldiei eta gudu-gurdiak erre.

Josué hizo con ellos como Jehová le había mandado: desjarretó sus caballos y quemó sus carros en el fuego.

Josué les traita comme l'Éternel lui avait dit; il coupa les jarrets à leurs chevaux, et il brûla leurs chars au feu.

So Joshua did to them as the LORD had told him: he hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots with fire.

Ondoren, itzuli eta Hatzor hiria hartu zuen Josuek eta bertako erregea ezpataz hil. Hatzor zen aldi hartan inguru haietako erreinuetako hiriburua.

Por entonces regresó Josué, tomó a Hazor y mató a espada a su rey, pues Hazor había sido antes cabeza de todos estos reinos.

À son retour, et dans le même temps, Josué prit Hatsor, et frappa son roi avec l'épée: Hatsor était autrefois la principale ville de tous ces royaumes.

Joshua turned back at that time and took Hazor, and struck its king with the sword; for Hazor was formerly the head of all those kingdoms.

Bertan bizi ziren guztiak ezpataz hil eta erabat suntsitu zituen, bat ere bizirik utzi gabe, eta hiriari su eman zion.

Pasaron a espada todo cuanto en ella tenía vida, destruyéndolo todo por completo, sin que quedara nada capaz de respirar, y prendieron fuego a Hazor.

On frappa du tranchant de l'épée et l'on dévoua par interdit tous ceux qui s'y trouvaient, il ne resta rien de ce qui respirait, et l'on mit le feu à Hatsor.

And they struck all the people who [were] in it with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying [them.] There was none left breathing. Then he burned Hazor with fire.

Josuek gainerako hiri guztiak hartu eta bertako erregeak ezpataz hil zituen eta erabat suntsitu, Moisesek, Jaunaren zerbitzariak, agindu bezala.

Asimismo tomó Josué todas las ciudades de aquellos reyes, y a todos sus reyes los pasó a filo de espada y los exterminó, como Moisés, siervo de Jehová, lo había mandado.

Josué prit aussi toutes les villes de ces rois et tous leurs rois, et il les frappa du tranchant de l'épée, et il les dévoua par interdit, comme l'avait ordonné Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel.

So all the cities of those kings, and all their kings, Joshua took and struck with the edge of the sword. He utterly destroyed them, as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded.

Mendi-gailurretan zeuden hiriak ez zituzten erre israeldarrek, Josuek erre zuen Hatzor izan ezik.

Pero Israel no quemó todas las ciudades que estaban sobre colinas; Josué quemó únicamente a Hazor.

Mais Israël ne brûla aucune des villes situées sur des collines, à l'exception seulement de Hatsor, qui fut brûlée par Josué.

But [as for] the cities that stood on their mounds, Israel burned none of them, except Hazor only, [which] Joshua burned.

Hiri haietako ondasunak eta abereak berentzat hartu zituzten israeldarrek, gudu-harrapakintzat; gizakiak, aldiz, ezpataz hil zituzten, denak suntsitzeraino, bat ere bizirik utzi gabe.

Los hijos de Israel tomaron para sí todo el botín y las bestias de aquellas ciudades; pero pasaron a todos los hombres a filo de espada hasta exterminarlos, sin dejar ninguno con vida.

Les enfants d'Israël gardèrent pour eux tout le butin de ces villes et le bétail; mais ils frappèrent du tranchant de l'épée tous les hommes, jusqu'à ce qu'ils les eussent détruits, sans rien laisser de ce qui respirait.

And all the spoil of these cities and the livestock, the children of Israel took as booty for themselves; but they struck every man with the edge of the sword until they had destroyed them, and they left none breathing.

Jaunak Moisesi agindutakoa agindu zion Moisesek Josueri, eta honek bete; ez zuen bete gabe utzi Jaunak Moisesi agindutako ezer ere.

De la manera que Jehová lo había mandado a Moisés, su siervo, así Moisés lo mandó a Josué, y así lo hizo Josué, sin quitar una palabra de todo lo que Jehová había mandado a Moisés.

Josué exécuta les ordres de l'Éternel à Moïse, son serviteur, et de Moïse à Josué; il ne négligea rien de tout ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse.

As the LORD had commanded Moses his servant, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua did. He left nothing undone of all that the LORD had commanded Moses.

Hona hemen, Josuek hartutako lurraldeak: mendialdea, Negev basamortua, Goxen lurraldea, Xefela lautada, Araba harana eta Israelgo mendialdea eta itsasorainoko lautada;

Conquistó, pues, Josué toda aquella tierra, las montañas, todo el Neguev, toda la tierra de Gosén, los llanos, el Arabá, las montañas de Israel y sus valles,

C'est ainsi que Josué s'empara de tout ce pays, de la montagne, de tout le midi, de tout le pays de Gosen, de la vallée, de la plaine, de la montagne d'Israël et de ses vallées,

Thus Joshua took all this land: the mountain country, all the South, all the land of Goshen, the lowland, and the Jordan plain -- the mountains of Israel and its lowlands,

hau da, Seir aldera doan Halak menditik Hermon mendi azpiko Libanoko haranean dagoen Baal-Gad hirira arteko lurralde osoa. Errege guztiak harrapatu eta hil egin zituen,

desde el monte Halac, que sube hacia Seir, hasta Baal-gad, en la llanura del Líbano, a la falda del monte Hermón. Capturó asimismo a todos sus reyes, los hirió y mató.

depuis la montagne nue qui s'élève vers Séir jusqu'à Baal-Gad, dans la vallée du Liban, au pied de la montagne d'Hermon. Il prit tous leurs rois, les frappa et les fit mourir.

from Mount Halak and the ascent to Seir, even as far as Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. He captured all their kings, and struck them down and killed them.

beraien kontra luzaro borrokan ibili ondoren.

Durante mucho tiempo estuvo Josué en guerra con estos reyes.

La guerre que soutint Josué contre tous ces rois fut de longue durée.

Joshua made war a long time with all those kings.

Israeldarrekin bake-hitzarmena egin zuen hiri bakarra hibiarrak bizi zireneko Gabaon izan zen. Beste guztiak armen indarrez hartu zituzten.

No hubo ciudad que hiciera la paz con los hijos de Israel, salvo los heveos que habitaban en Gabaón; todas las tomaron por la fuerza.

Il n'y eut aucune ville qui fît la paix avec les enfants d'Israël, excepté Gabaon, habitée par les Héviens; ils les prirent toutes en combattant.

There was not a city that made peace with the children of Israel, except the Hivites, the inhabitants of Gibeon. All [the others] they took in battle.
