CHAPTER I. THE TWO POETS OF SAFFRON PARK

Saffron Park-eko aldiria Londresko sartaldean han zetzan, ilunabarreko hodei bat bezain gorri eta urratua.

El barrio de Saffron Park-Parque de Azafrán-se extendía al poniente de Londres, rojo y desgarrado como una nube del crepúsculo.

Le faubourg de Saffron Park s'étendait à l'est de Londres, rouge et déchiré comme un nuage au couchant, dessinant sur le ciel une silhouette fantastique de maisons bizarres, toutes construites en briques claires.

THE suburb of Saffron Park lay on the sunset side of London, as red and ragged as a cloud of sunset.
