Uxue Diez-Guiral obtained a degree in English Studies, with a minor in English Linguistics, at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Uxue specialised in language education by pursuing a Language Teaching master’s degree (University of Salamanca, USAL) and the European Master in Multilingualism and Education (UPV/EHU). Uxue has collaborated as a researcher in several research projects. Most recently, Uxue has collaborated in the European project Linguistically Sensitive Teaching in All Classrooms (LISTIAC). Nowadays, Uxue is a researcher at the UPV/EHU in the doctoral programme Education: School, Language and Society after getting a predoctoral contract. Uxue studies the influence and interaction of gender inside the language classroom from a gender and queer theory perspective.
