Industrial Technical Engineer (specialising in Mechanics), Industrial Organisation Engineer and PhD from the University of the Basque Country. Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of Gipuzkoa.

In terms of teaching activity, he teaches subjects related to the Theory of Structures in the Degree in Civil Engineering and in the Degree in Building Engineering.

Regarding research, he is member of the MecMat group (Mechanics of Materials) at the University of the Basque Country. The lines of research in which he participates are the mechanical testing of composite materials, the development of analytical approaches and numerical analysis using finite elements.
