The aim of the MecMat research group is to analyse the mechanical behaviour of materials, mainly composite materials. New analytical approaches are developed and their suitability is compared with experimental and numerical analyses. The technological offer of the group consists of carrying out mechanical tests on composite materials, numerical analyses using the finite element method and custom-made training courses, for example: Mechanics of Composites, Mechanics of Materials, Finite Element Method.
