Civil Engineer from the University of Cantabria. I worked as project manager in a private company between 2004-2010. Currently associate professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, my teaching activity consists of teaching the subjects related to geology and geotechnics as well as structures in the degrees of Civil Engineering and Technical Architecture.

As for research, I belong to the Mechanics of Materials Research Group of the University of the Basque Country. I finished my Doctoral Thesis, under the supervision of Dr. Faustino Mujika Garitano, in relation to the analysis of hybrid formulations for Finite Element Analysis and its application in the analysis of composite laminates.
