Gotzone Barandika
She graduated from UPV/EHU with a degree in Chemistry and the University of Navarra with a PhD in Physics. Since 1996, she has held the position of professor at the UPV/EHU Department of Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, where she specialises in Materials Science research. As the principal investigator of a national call project, she supervised five doctorate theses in addition to her many research participations. She presently serves as president of the CDED (association of Spanish doctoral schools) and director of the Doctoral School of the UPV/EHU. She holds a full professorial accreditation. She has written several specialised papers in the field of doctoral training, where she has discussed topics like the psychological health of PhD candidates and the circular economy.
