The Business Relations Department acts as an interface between university research and the socioeconomic environment connecting the innovation needs and contributing to the improvement of businesses and institutions with the knowledge generated by the research groups of the University.

To carry out its mission, the Research Results Transfer Office (OTRI) facilitates the incorporation into Society of research results, channels the demands of businesses and institutions to research groups, provides advice on access to public finance for R&D&I, and directs its actions toward the ultimate goal of incorporating basic knowledge to technological development and completing the value chain, up to its social application.

Management quality is the first rule of the OTRI, whose primary objective is the satisfaction of researchers and businesses. To this end, it has implemented performance procedures with clear customer focus and process-based approach.
