Description
It is planned as a course with compulsory attendance, with a theoretical explanation of each of the modules, which will be accompanied by a series of practical exercises which the participants must perform throughout the sessions.
Results
The doctoral student will acquire the necessary tools to access, evaluate, use and disseminate information in an ethical manner.
Assessment systems

Hours
60
Description
The student will be actively involved in the phases of interpretation, processing, discussion and dissemination of results corresponding to his or her doctoral thesis for the purpose of their publication in journals specializing in the area of knowledge. They are expected to last more than 6 months (per publication) and they will be conducted throughout the doctorate.
Results
Transmission of knowledge and its dissemination in the scientific and technological world. Structuring of the paper in accordance with the principles and foundations of chemical engineering. Confirming the quality of the research performed. Being subjected to external systems to evaluate the scientific quality.
Assessment systems
There will be annual monitoring of the activity carried out by the doctoral students, who will attach the documentary proof of their participation in the realization of an article and a report by the doctoral thesis director, indicating the student's progress in the acquisition of the corresponding training. In consequence, the Monitoring Committee of the Doctoral Program will issue a favourable or unfavourable report and will inform the student of the level obtained and the activities to be completed. The report of the Monitoring Committee must be favourable before the doctoral thesis can be submitted for defence.

Description
This involves the active participation of the doctoral student in the preparation and presentation of a paper at a congress. The activity consists of the phases for the selection of the results, normally of an experimental nature, the preparation of the materials (an abstract, poster, presentation, etc.) and participation in scientific meetings to disseminate the progress of his or her research to the scientific community with a discussion/defence of the conclusions. The realization of this activity lasts about 1 month (per paper) and will take place throughout the doctorate.
Results
Presentation of results within the canons and protocols required by the specialists of a research topic. Exchange of experiences and comparing of opinions with scientific experts. .
Assessment systems
There will be annual monitoring of the activity carried out by each of the doctoral students, who will attach the documentary proof of their participation in congresses or scientific meetings and a report by the doctoral thesis director, indicating the student's progress in the acquisition of the corresponding training. In consequence, the Monitoring Committee of the Doctoral Program will issue a favourable or unfavourable report and will inform the student of the level obtained and the activities to be completed. The report of the Monitoring Committee must be favourable before the doctoral thesis can be submitted for defence. Although the students will be informed of the appropriateness of participating in several congresses, one participation will be sufficient to justify the training.

Description
The doctoral student, on the initiative of his or her director, must perform stays with other renowned national or international research groups, for different purposes: To complete phases of his or her particular experimental development, with the use of equipment, techniques and methodologies unavailable in his or her place of origin. Collaboration in common projects which require the comparing and processing of results and the preparation of publications. Learning of instrumental and methodological techniques. Conducting of the preliminary studies necessary for the realization of new collaboration projects.
Results
Promoting collaborative work with other research groups, seeking the complementary nature of the respective research activities and an exchange of experiences, within common objectives and projects. Awareness of the use of new experimental techniques and methodologies allowing the realization of quality research in accordance with the scientific level of the subject field.
Assessment systems
There will be annual monitoring of the activity carried out by the doctoral students, who will attach the documentary proof of their visit to the centre or institution, by means of a report by a researcher belonging to the contacted research group, indicating the activities performed during the stay. The monitoring committee of the doctoral program will positively value the realization of this activity, without it being a condition for the defence of the doctoral thesis.
