Initiating the thesis submission process
According to Article 23.- Start of the deposit procedure of the new Regulations for the Management of Official Doctoral Studies of The UPV/EHU of 25 April 2024, DOKe will just register the start date of the submission procedure. To do so, the following procedure must be followed:
- The thesis supervisor must send the completed form ‘COMMUNICATION FROM THE THESIS supervisor REQUESTING REPORTS FROM EXPERTS OUTSIDE THE UPV/EHU’ available on the forms website to the email account assigned to the doctoral programme. It is just necessary that one of the thesis supervisors sends this form, as long as this thesis supervisor is a member of the PhD programme teaching staff.
- Before the thesis supervisors request the reports, the selection of the experts must be approved by the Academic Committee. To this end, the coordinator of the Academic Committee will add his or her signature to the form.
- The start date of the submission procedure indicated by the supervisor on the form must be the date on which the supervisors have sent the e-mail requesting the reports to the selected experts. This date must be before the Fecha límite inicio procedimiento depósito indicated for each PhD student at GAUR.
