2. In what way is a doctorate carried out under cotutelle different from an « international doctorate »?
"International Doctorate" refers to a distinction that may awarded to the PhD degree, following the fulfilment of a series of requirements. It does not involve obtaining doctoral degrees from different universities. Students may apply for the "International Doctorate" mention when they submit the thesis for evaluation (deposit).
