Second Alberto Alberdi Prize for Best PhD Thesis on the Basque Economy

- Purpose: To foster scientific research and promote the recruitment and retention of research talent in the Basque Country.
- Any PhD thesis related to the Basque economy that has been successfully defended at any university between 1 January 2022 and 5 July 2024 (inclusive) is eligible to compete for the award.
- Submission period: 6 june to 5 July 2024, inclusive.
- The winning contestant will receive a monetary prize of €6,000 and a synopsis of the thesis will be published in the Ekonomiaz journal or Ikerketak series, issued by the Department of the Treasury and Economic Affairs.
