Estefanía Ocariz is a PhD in Psychology at University of the Basque Country EHU/UPV. She did a Master's degree in Legal Psychology and she is a university expert in Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Criminal Law. Moreover, she did a university course in Mediation.

Since 2000, she works as a researcher at Basque Institute of Criminology, where she does different studies about criminology and specially those which are focus in Juvenile Justice. Since 2003, she is the one who assess Basque Government's Juvenile Justice Program.

Estefanía has several publications, such as journal papers, book chapters, books, etc. She has many contributions to congresses and conferences about Juvenile Justice too, where she has also been invited.

Dr Ocáriz teaches about Justice Juvenile in different environments at the University of the Basque Country EHU/UPV and at Police and Emergencies Basque Academy.
