' These you may eat of all that [are] in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers -- that you may eat.

Pero de todo insecto alado que anda sobre cuatro patas comeréis el que, además de sus patas, tiene zancas para saltar con ellas sobre la tierra.

Mais, parmi tous les reptiles qui volent et qui marchent sur quatre pieds, vous mangerez ceux qui ont des jambes au-dessus de leurs pieds, pour sauter sur la terre.

'Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on [all] fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth.

'But all [other] flying insects which have four feet [shall be] an abomination to you.

' By these you shall become unclean; whoever touches the carcass of any of them shall be unclean until evening;

' These also [shall be] unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the mole, the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind;

dragoitxoa, krokodiloa, arrubioa eta kamalehoia.

'These [are] unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.

"También será inmundo todo aquello sobre lo que caiga algo de ellos después de muertos; sea objeto de madera, vestido, piel, saco, sea cualquier instrumento con el que se trabaja. Será metido en agua y quedará inmundo hasta la noche: entonces quedará limpio.

Tout objet sur lequel tombera quelque chose de leurs corps morts sera souillé, ustensile de bois, vêtement, peau, sac, tout objet dont on fait usage; il sera mis dans l'eau, et restera souillé jusqu'au soir; après quoi, il sera pur.

'Anything on which [any] of them falls, when they are dead shall be unclean, whether [it is] any item of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever item [it is,] in which [any] work is done, it must be put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening; then it shall be clean.

"Horietako piztiaren bat buztinezko edozein ontzitara jausten bada, barruan dagoen guztia kutsaturik geldituko da eta ontzia hautsi egingo duzue.

"Toda vasija de barro dentro de la cual caiga alguno de ellos será inmunda, así como todo lo que esté dentro de ella; y la vasija deberá quebrarse.

Tout ce qui se trouvera dans un vase de terre où il en tombera quelque chose, sera souillé, et vous briserez le vase.

'Any earthen vessel into which [any] of them falls you shall break; and whatever [is] in it shall be unclean:

Toda cosa comestible sobre la cual caiga el agua de tales vasijas será inmunda, y toda bebida que haya en esas vasijas será inmunda.

Tout aliment qui sert à la nourriture, et sur lequel il sera tombé de cette eau, sera souillé; et toute boisson dont on fait usage, quel que soit le vase qui la contienne, sera souillée.

'in such a vessel, any edible food upon which water falls becomes unclean, and any drink that may be drunk from it becomes unclean.

Piztia horien sarraski-zatiren bat edozer gauzaren gainera jausten bada, kutsaturik geldituko da; labeak eta sutegiak birrindu egingo dituzue: kutsatuak dira eta kutsatutzat edukiko dituzue.

Todo aquello sobre lo que caiga alguno de esos cadáveres será inmundo: el horno u hornillos se derribarán; son inmundos, y por inmundos los tendréis.

Tout objet sur lequel tombera quelque chose de leurs corps morts sera souillé; le four et le foyer seront détruits: ils seront souillés, et vous les regarderez comme souillés.

'And everything on which [a part] of [any such] carcass falls shall be unclean; [whether it is] an oven or cooking stove, it shall be broken down; [for] they [are] unclean, and shall be unclean to you.

"Hala ere, iturri eta urtegiei dagokienez, ur bilduak garbi iraungo du, baina sarraskia uretatik ateratzeko ukitzen duena kutsaturik geldituko da.

Il n'y aura que les sources et les citernes, formant des amas d'eaux, qui resteront pures; mais celui qui y touchera de leurs corps morts sera impur.

'Nevertheless a spring or a cistern, [in which there is] plenty of water, shall be clean, but whatever touches any such carcass becomes unclean.

"Sarraskia hazitarako den ale gainera jausten bada, haziak garbi dirau;

"Y si cae uno de esos cadáveres sobre alguna semilla que se haya de sembrar, será limpia.

S'il tombe quelque chose de leurs corps morts sur une semence qui doit être semée, elle restera pure;

'And if a part of [any such] carcass falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, it [remains] clean.

'But if water is put on the seed, and if [a part] of [any such] carcass falls on it, it [becomes] unclean to you.

"Jangai duzuen abere bat hiltzen bazaizue, haren sarraskia ukitzen duena kutsaturik geldituko da arratsera arte.

"Si muere algún animal que tienes para comer, el que toque su cadáver quedará impuro hasta la noche.

S'il meurt un des animaux qui vous servent de nourriture, celui qui touchera son corps mort sera impur jusqu'au soir;

' And if any animal which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be unclean until evening.

Sarraski hartatik jaten duenak bere arropak garbituko ditu eta kutsaturik geldituko da arratsera arte. Sarraskia jaso edo garraiatzen duenak ere arropak garbituko ditu eta kutsaturik geldituko da arratsera arte.

'He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening.

"Lur gainean narrasta dabiltzan piztiak debekatuak dituzue eta ezin izanen dituzue jan.

"Todo reptil que se arrastra sobre la tierra es abominación: no se comerá.

Vous aurez en abomination tout reptile qui rampe sur la terre: on n'en mangera point.

' And every creeping thing that creeps on the earth [shall be] an abomination. It shall not be eaten.

"Sabel gainean nahiz lau zangoen edo gehiagoren gainean narrasta dabiltzan piztiak debekatuak dituzue eta ezin izanen dituzue jan.

"No comeréis ningún animal que anda sobre el vientre, que anda sobre cuatro o más patas, o se arrastra sobre la tierra, porque es abominación.

Vous ne mangerez point, parmi tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre, de tous ceux qui se traînent sur le ventre, ni de tous ceux qui marchent sur quatre pieds ou sur un grand nombre de pieds; car vous les aurez en abomination.

'Whatever crawls on its belly, whatever goes on [all] fours, or whatever has many feet among all creeping things that creep on the earth -- these you shall not eat, for they [are] an abomination.

Ez ditzazuela zeuen buruak higuingarri bihur, ezta kutsatu ere narrasta dabiltzan piztiak direla eta.

No hagáis abominables vuestras personas con ningún animal que se arrastra, ni os contaminéis con ellos, ni seáis impuros por ellos.

Ne rendez point vos personnes abominables par tous ces reptiles qui rampent; ne vous rendez point impurs par eux, ne vous souillez point par eux.

'You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps; nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, lest you be defiled by them.

'For I [am] the LORD your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I [am] holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Habló Jehová a Moisés y le dijo:

L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit:

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Esan israeldarrei: Emakumea, mutikoa izaten badu, zazpi egunez kutsaturik geldituko da, hilerokoa duenean bezala.

"Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: La mujer, cuando conciba y dé a luz un hijo varón, quedará impura durante siete días; como en los días de su menstruación será impura.

Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis: Lorsqu'une femme deviendra enceinte, et qu'elle enfantera un mâle, elle sera impure pendant sept jours; elle sera impure comme au temps de son indisposition menstruelle.

"Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'If a woman has conceived, and borne a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her customary impurity she shall be unclean.

Zortzigarren egunean mutikoa erdainduko dute;

Al octavo día se circuncidará al niño.

Le huitième jour, l'enfant sera circoncis.

'And on the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

Elle restera encore trente -trois jours à se purifier de son sang; elle ne touchera aucune chose sainte, et elle n'ira point au sanctuaire, jusqu'à ce que les jours de sa purification soient accomplis.

'She shall then continue in the blood of [her] purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled.

'But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her customary impurity, and she shall continue in the blood of [her] purification sixty-six days.

' When the days of her purification are fulfilled, whether for a son or a daughter, she shall bring to the priest a lamb of the first year as a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove as a sin offering, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting.

'Then he shall offer it before the LORD, and make atonement for her. And she shall be clean from the flow of her blood. This [is] the law for her who has borne a male or a female.

"Bildots bat erosteko ahalbiderik ez duen emakumeak bi usapal edo bi usakume har ditzake, bata erre-oparirako eta bestea barkamen-oparirako. Apaizak emakumearen aldeko garbikuntza-ohikunea egingo du, eta hura garbi geldituko da".

Y si no tiene lo suficiente para un cordero, tomará entonces dos tórtolas o dos palominos, uno para holocausto y otro para expiación. El sacerdote hará expiación por ella, y quedará limpia.

Si elle n'a pas de quoi se procurer un agneau, elle prendra deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, l'un pour l'holocauste, l'autre pour le sacrifice d'expiation. Le sacrificateur fera pour elle l'expiation, et elle sera pure.

'And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons -- one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.' "

L'Éternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et dit:

And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

"Norbaiti larruazalean handitua, zornadura edota orbaina ateratzen bazaio, legenarena bezalako zauria sortuz, Aaron apaizarengana edo beronen ondorengoetariko apaiz batengana eramango dute.

"Cuando el hombre tenga en la piel de su cuerpo una hinchazón o una erupción o una mancha blanca, y haya en la piel de su cuerpo como una llaga de lepra, será llevado a Aarón, el sacerdote, o a uno de sus hijos, los sacerdotes.

Lorsqu'un homme aura sur la peau de son corps une tumeur, une dartre, ou une tache blanche, qui ressemblera à une plaie de lèpre sur la peau de son corps, on l'amènera au sacrificateur Aaron, ou à l'un de ses fils qui sont sacrificateurs.

"When a man has on the skin of his body a swelling, a scab, or a bright spot, and it becomes on the skin of his body [like] a leprous sore, then he shall be brought to Aaron the priest or to one of his sons the priests.

Le sacrificateur examinera la plaie qui est sur la peau du corps. Si le poil de la plaie est devenu blanc, et que la plaie paraisse plus profonde que la peau du corps, c'est une plaie de lèpre: le sacrificateur qui aura fait l'examen déclarera cet homme impur.

"The priest shall examine the sore on the skin of the body; and if the hair on the sore has turned white, and the sore appears [to be] deeper than the skin of his body, it [is] a leprous sore. Then the priest shall examine him, and pronounce him unclean.

"Larruazaleko orbaina zuria bada, baina azalekoa baino sakonagoa ez bada eta ilea zuritua ez badu, apaizak jendartetik aparte jarriko du gaixoa zazpi egunez.

"Si en la piel de su cuerpo hay una mancha blanca, pero no se ve más profunda que la piel ni el vello se ha vuelto blanco, entonces el sacerdote encerrará al llagado durante siete días.

S'il y a sur la peau du corps une tache blanche qui ne paraisse pas plus profonde que la peau, et que le poil ne soit pas devenu blanc, le sacrificateur enfermera pendant sept jours celui qui a la plaie.

"But if the bright spot [is] white on the skin of his body, and does not appear [to be] deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate [the one who has] the sore seven days.

Zazpi egunen buruan berriro miatuko du, eta zauriak bere hartan, azalean zabaldu gabe, jarraitzen duela ikusten badu, beste zazpi egunez edukiko du jendartetik aparte.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo examinará, y si la llaga conserva el mismo aspecto y no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo volverá a encerrar por otros siete días.

Le sacrificateur l'examinera le septième jour. Si la plaie lui paraît ne pas avoir fait de progrès et ne pas s'être étendue sur la peau, le sacrificateur l'enfermera une seconde fois pendant sept jours.

"And the priest shall examine him on the seventh day; and indeed [if] the sore appears to be as it was, [and] the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him another seven days.

Zazpi egun horien buruan berriro miatuko du, eta zauria, azalean zabaldu gabe, zurbilduz doala ikusten badu, garbitzat aitortuko du; zornadura hutsa da. Gaixoak arropak garbituko ditu eta garbi geldituko da.

Al séptimo día el sacerdote lo reconocerá de nuevo; si ve que se ha oscurecido la llaga, y que no se ha extendido en la piel, entonces el sacerdote lo declarará limpio: era una erupción. Lavará sus vestidos y quedará limpio.

Le sacrificateur l'examinera une seconde fois le septième jour. Si la plaie est devenue pâle et ne s'est pas étendue sur la peau, le sacrificateur déclarera cet homme pur: c'est une dartre; il lavera ses vêtements, et il sera pur.

"Then the priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and indeed [if] the sore has faded, [and] the sore has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it [is only] a scab, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.
