Then Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, "At evening you shall know that the LORD has brought you out of the land of Egypt.

le matin, vous verrez la gloire du SEIGNEUR, parce qu'il a entendu vos murmures contre le SEIGNEUR. Nous, que sommes-nous, que vous murmuriez contre nous?» -

"And in the morning you shall see the glory of the LORD; for He hears your complaints against the LORD. But what [are] we, that you complain against us?"

Gainera, esan zien Moisesek: "Gaur arratsaldean Jaunak okela emango dizue jateko, eta bihar goizean asetzeko adina ogi, aditu baitizkizue bere aurkako marmarrak. Izan ere, guk ez dugu zerikusirik. Gure aurka ez, baina Jaunaren aurka jardun duzue marmarrean".

Y Moisés añadió: -- Jehová os dará por la tarde carne para comer, y por la mañana pan hasta saciaros, porque Jehová ha oído lo que habéis murmurado contra él; pues ¿qué somos nosotros? Vuestras murmuraciones no son contra nosotros, sino contra Jehová.

Moïse voulait dire: «Vous la verrez quand le SEIGNEUR vous donnera le soir de la viande à manger, le matin du pain à satiété, parce que le SEIGNEUR a entendu les murmures que vous murmurez contre lui. Nous, que sommes-nous? Ce n'est pas contre nous que vous murmurez, mais bien contre le SEIGNEUR.»

Also Moses said, "[This shall be seen] when the LORD gives you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the LORD hears your complaints which you make against Him. And what [are] we? Your complaints [are] not against us but against the LORD."

Ondoren, Moisesek esan zion Aaroni: "Esaiozu israeldarren elkarte osoari Jaunaren aurrera hurbiltzeko, aditu baitu haien marmarra".

Luego dijo Moisés a Aarón: -- Di a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel: "Acercaos a la presencia de Jehová, porque él ha oído vuestras murmuraciones".

Moïse dit à Aaron: Dis à toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël: Approchez -vous devant l'Éternel, car il a entendu vos murmures.

Then Moses spoke to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come near before the LORD, for He has heard your complaints.' "

Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Aditu dut israeldarren marmarra. Esaiezu: Ilunabarrean okela jango duzue, eta bihar goizean ogiz aseko zarete. Honela jakingo duzue ni naizela Jauna, zuen Jainkoa".

-- Yo he oído las murmuraciones de los hijos de Israel. Háblales y diles: "Al caer la tarde comeréis carne, y por la mañana os saciaréis de pan. Así sabréis que yo soy Jehová, vuestro Dios".

J'ai entendu les murmures des enfants d'Israël. Dis -leur: Entre les deux soirs vous mangerez de la viande, et au matin vous vous rassasierez de pain; et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu.

"I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel. Speak to them, saying, 'At twilight you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread. And you shall know that I [am] the LORD your God.' "

Arratsaldean, galeperrak heldu ziren eta kanpaleku osoa estali zuten; biharamun goizean, ihintz-geruza azaldu zen kanpaleku inguruan.

Al llegar la tarde, subieron codornices que cubrieron el campamento, y por la mañana descendió rocío alrededor del campamento.

Le soir, il survint des cailles qui couvrirent le camp; et, au matin, il y eut une couche de rosée autour du camp.

So it was that quails came up at evening and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp.

Ihintza desagertu zenean, antzigarraren itxurako zerbait, xehea eta garautsua, gelditu zen lur gainean.

Cuando el rocío cesó de descender, apareció sobre la faz del desierto una cosa menuda, redonda, menuda como escarcha sobre la tierra.

Quand cette rosée fut dissipée, il y avait à la surface du désert quelque chose de menu comme des grains, quelque chose de menu comme la gelée blanche sur la terre.

And when the layer of dew lifted, there, on the surface of the wilderness, was a small round substance, [as] fine as frost on the ground.

Hura ikustean, israeldarrek honela ziotsoten elkarri: "Zer da hau?" Ez baitzekiten zer zen. Moisesek esan zien: "Jaunak janaritzat ematen dizuen ogia da.

Al verlo, los hijos de Israel se dijeron unos a otros: "¿Qué es esto?", porque no sabían qué era. Entonces Moisés les dijo: -- Es el pan que Jehová os da para comer.

Les enfants d'Israël regardèrent et ils se dirent l'un à l'autre: Qu'est-ce que cela ? car ils ne savaient pas ce que c'était. Moïse leur dit: C'est le pain que L'Éternel vous donne pour nourriture.

So when the children of Israel saw [it,] they said to one another, "What is it?" For they did not know what it [was.] And Moses said to them, "This [is] the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.

Hara zer agindu didan Jaunak: Bakoitzak bil dezala jateko behar adina, lau litro bakoitzeko, nork bere etxolan dituen lagunen arabera".

Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado: Recoged de él cada uno según lo que pueda comer, un gomer por cabeza, conforme al número de personas en su familia; tomaréis cada uno para los que están en su tienda.

Voici ce que l'Éternel a ordonné: Que chacun de vous en ramasse ce qu'il faut pour sa nourriture, un omer par tête, suivant le nombre de vos personnes; chacun en prendra pour ceux qui sont dans sa tente.

"This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Let every man gather it according to each one's need, one omer for each person, [according to the] number of persons; let every man take for [those] who [are] in his tent.' "

Hala egin zuten israeldarrek, batak asko eta besteak gutxi bilduz.

Los hijos de Israel lo hicieron así, y recogieron unos más, otros menos.

Les Israélites firent ainsi; et ils en ramassèrent les uns plus, les autres moins.

Then the children of Israel did so and gathered, some more, some less.

Lo medían por gomer, y no sobró al que había recogido mucho, ni faltó al que había recogido poco; cada uno recogió conforme a lo que había de comer.

On mesurait ensuite avec l'omer; celui qui avait ramassé plus n'avait rien de trop, et celui qui avait ramassé moins n'en manquait pas. Chacun ramassait ce qu'il fallait pour sa nourriture.

So when they measured [it] by omers, he who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack. Every man had gathered according to each one's need.

Gero, Moisesek esan zien: "Ez dezala inork biharamunerako ezer gorde".

Luego les dijo Moisés: -- Ninguno deje nada de ello para mañana.

Moïse leur dit: Que personne n'en laisse jusqu'au matin.

And Moses said, "Let no one leave any of it till morning."

Hala ere, zenbaitek ez zion Moisesi jaramonik egin eta hurrengo egunerako gorde zuen; baina harrak jo eta usteldu egin zitzaien. Haserretu egin zen Moises haien aurka.

Pero ellos no obedecieron a Moisés, sino que algunos dejaron algo para el otro día; pero crió gusanos, y apestaba. Y se enojó con ellos Moisés.

Ils n'écoutèrent pas Moïse, et il y eut des gens qui en laissèrent jusqu'au matin; mais il s'y mit des vers, et cela devint infect. Moïse fut irrité contre ces gens.

Notwithstanding they did not heed Moses. But some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Moses was angry with them.

Lo recogían cada mañana, cada uno según lo que había de comer; y luego que el sol calentaba, se derretía.

Tous les matins, chacun ramassait ce qu'il fallait pour sa nourriture; et quand venait la chaleur du soleil, cela fondait.

So they gathered it every morning, every man according to his need. And when the sun became hot, it melted.

Seigarren egunean bi halako bildu ohi zuten, bederatzi bat litro lagun bakoitzeko; orduan, elkarte-arduradunak horren berri ematera joan zitzaizkion Moisesi.

En el sexto día recogieron doble porción de comida, dos gomeres para cada uno. Todos los príncipes de la congregación fueron y se lo hicieron saber a Moisés.

Le sixième jour, ils ramassèrent une quantité double de nourriture, deux omers pour chacun. Tous les principaux de l'assemblée vinrent le rapporter à Moïse.

And so it was, on the sixth day, [that] they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one. And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.

Et Moïse leur dit: C'est ce que l'Éternel a ordonné. Demain est le jour du repos, le sabbat consacré à l'Éternel; faites cuire ce que vous avez à faire cuire, faites bouillir ce que vous avez à faire bouillir, et mettez en réserve jusqu'au matin tout ce qui restera.

Then he said to them, "This [is what] the LORD has said: 'Tomorrow [is] a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake [today,] and boil what you will boil; and lay up for yourselves all that remains, to be kept until morning.' "

Moisesek agindu bezala, biharamunerako gorde zuten gelditu zitzaiena eta ez zitzaien usteldu, ezta harrik sortu ere.

Ellos lo guardaron hasta el día siguiente, según lo que Moisés había mandado, y no se agusanó ni apestó.

Ils le laissèrent jusqu'au matin, comme Moïse l'avait ordonné; et cela ne devint point infect, et il ne s'y mit point de vers.

So they laid it up till morning, as Moses commanded; and it did not stink, nor were there any worms in it.

Entonces dijo Moisés: -- Comedlo hoy, porque hoy es sábado dedicado a Jehová; hoy no hallaréis nada en el campo.

Moïse dit: Mangez -le aujourd'hui, car c'est le jour du sabbat; aujourd'hui vous n'en trouverez point dans la campagne.

Then Moses said, "Eat that today, for today [is] a Sabbath to the LORD; today you will not find it in the field.

Sei egunez bilduko duzue; zazpigarren eguna atseden-eguna da eta ez da ezer izango".

Seis días lo recogeréis, pero el séptimo día, que es sábado, nada se hallará.

Pendant six jours vous en ramasserez; mais le septième jour, qui est le sabbat, il n'y en aura point.

"Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, [which is] the Sabbath, there will be none."

Herritar zenbait, ordea, zazpigarren egunean ere biltzera atera zen, baina ez zuen ezer aurkitu.

Aconteció que algunos del pueblo salieron en el séptimo día a recoger, y no hallaron nada.

Le septième jour, quelques-uns du peuple sortirent pour en ramasser, et ils n'en trouvèrent point.

Now it happened [that some] of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.

Orduan, Jaunak esan zion Moisesi: "Noiz arte ibili behar duzue nire agindu eta legeak bete nahi ezta?

Y Jehová dijo a Moisés: -- ¿Hasta cuándo os negaréis a guardar mis mandamientos y mis leyes?

Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Jusques à quand refuserez -vous d'observer mes commandements et mes lois ?

And the LORD said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?

Begira: neuk, Jaun honek, eman dizuet larunbata, atseden hartzeko; horregatik, seigarren egunean bi egunerako janaria ematen dizuet. Beraz, zazpigarren egunean zaudete nor bere tokian, kanpora atera gabe".

Mirad que Jehová os dio el sábado, y por eso en el sexto día os da pan para dos días. Quédese, pues, cada uno en su lugar, y nadie salga de él en el séptimo día.

Considérez que l'Éternel vous a donné le sabbat; c'est pourquoi il vous donne au sixième jour de la nourriture pour deux jours. Que chacun reste à sa place, et que personne ne sorte du lieu où il est au septième jour.

"See! For the LORD has given you the Sabbath; therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day."

Herriak, bada, atseden hartu zuen zazpigarren egunean.

Así el pueblo reposó el séptimo día.

Et le peuple se reposa le septième jour.

So the people rested on the seventh day.

Israeldarrek biltzen zutenari "Mana" eman zioten izen. Zuria zen, txarrangil-haziaren itxurakoa eta ezti-opilaren gustukoa.

La casa de Israel lo llamó "maná"; era como una semilla de culantro, blanco, y su sabor como de hojuelas con miel.

La maison d'Israël donna à cette nourriture le nom de manne. Elle ressemblait à de la graine de coriandre; elle était blanche, et avait le goût d'un gâteau au miel.

And the house of Israel called its name Manna. And it [was] like white coriander seed, and the taste of it [was] like wafers [made] with honey.

Moisesek esan zien: "Hau agindu du Jaunak: Lau litroko neurria manaz bete eta gorde ondorengo belaunaldientzat, Egiptotik atera zaituztedanean basamortuan eman dizuedan janaria ikus dezaten".

Después dijo Moisés: -- Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado: "Llenad un gomer de él y guardadlo para vuestros descendientes, a fin de que vean el pan que yo os di a comer en el desierto, cuando yo os saqué de la tierra de Egipto".

Moïse dit: Voici ce que l'Éternel a ordonné: Qu'un omer rempli de manne soit conservé pour vos descendants, afin qu'ils voient le pain que je vous ai fait manger dans le désert, après vous avoir fait sortir du pays d'Égypte.

Then Moses said, "This [is] the thing which the LORD has commanded: 'Fill an omer with it, to be kept for your generations, that they may see the bread with which I fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.' "

Eta Aaroni esan zion: "Hartu ontzi bat, bete lau litro manaz eta ezarri Jaunaren aurrean, ondorengo belaunaldientzat gordez".

A Aarón dijo Moisés: -- Toma una vasija, pon en ella un gomer de maná y colócalo delante de Jehová, a fin de que sea guardado para vuestros descendientes.

Et Moïse dit à Aaron: Prends un vase, mets -y de la manne plein un omer, et dépose -le devant l'Éternel, afin qu'il soit conservé pour vos descendants.

And Moses said to Aaron, "Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations."

Jaunak Moisesi agindu bezala, Aaronek itun-agiriaren aurrean gorde zuen gerorako.

Aarón lo puso delante del Testimonio para guardarlo, tal como Jehová lo mandó a Moisés.

Suivant l'ordre donné par l'Éternel à Moïse, Aaron le déposa devant le témoignage, afin qu'il fût conservé.

As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

Berrogei urtez jan zuten mana israeldarrek, jendedun lurraldeetara, Kanaango lurmugetara, iritsi arte alegia.

Así comieron los hijos de Israel maná durante cuarenta años, hasta que llegaron a tierra habitada; maná comieron hasta que llegaron a los límites de la tierra de Canaán.

Les enfants d'Israël mangèrent la manne pendant quarante ans, jusqu'à leur arrivée dans un pays habité; ils mangèrent la manne jusqu'à leur arrivée aux frontières du pays de Canaan.

And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land; they ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.

(Omer -mana neurtzeko erabilitako neurria- efa baten hamarrena zen).

Un gomer es la décima parte de un efa.

L'omer est la dixième partie de l'épha.

Now an omer [is] one-tenth of an ephah.

Israeldarren elkarte osoa, Jaunaren agindura, Sin basamortutik abiatu zen, geldiuneak eginez. Refidimen ezarri zuten kanpalekua, baina ez zen han urik herriak edateko.

Toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel partió del desierto de Sin avanzando por jornadas, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová, y acamparon en Refidim, donde no había agua para que el pueblo bebiera.

Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël partit du désert de Sin, selon les marches que l'Éternel leur avait ordonnées; et ils campèrent à Rephidim, où le peuple ne trouva point d'eau à boire.

Then all the congregation of the children of Israel set out on their journey from the Wilderness of Sin, according to the commandment of the LORD, and camped in Rephidim; but [there was] no water for the people to drink.

Orduan, aurpegi eman zioten Moisesi, esanez: -Emaguzu ura edateko! Moisesek erantzun zien: -Zer dela eta ematen didazue aurpegi niri? Zergatik tentatzen duzue Jauna?

Y disputó el pueblo con Moisés, diciéndole: -- Danos agua para que bebamos. -- ¿Por qué disputáis conmigo? ¿Por qué tentáis a Jehová? --les respondió Moisés.

Alors le peuple chercha querelle à Moïse. Ils dirent: Donnez -nous de l'eau à boire. Moïse leur répondit: Pourquoi me cherchez-vous querelle ? Pourquoi tentez -vous l'Éternel ?

Therefore the people contended with Moses, and said, "Give us water, that we may drink." And Moses said to them, "Why do you contend with me? Why do you tempt the LORD?"

Baina egarri zen herria bazter hartan, eta marmarrean hasi zen Moisesen aurka, esanez: -Honetarako atera al gaituzu Egiptotik, geu, gure seme-alabak eta abereak egarriak hilarazteko?

Así que el pueblo tuvo allí sed, y murmuró contra Moisés: -- ¿Por qué nos hiciste subir de Egipto para matarnos de sed a nosotros, a nuestros hijos y a nuestros ganados?

Le peuple était là, pressé par la soif, et murmurait contre Moïse. Il disait: Pourquoi nous as-tu fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour me faire mourir de soif avec mes enfants et mes troupeaux ?

And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, "Why [is] it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?"

Moisesek deiadar egin zion Jaunari: -Zer egin diezaioket herri honi? Ia-ia harrika egin didate!

Entonces clamó Moisés a Jehová, y dijo: -- ¿Qué haré con este pueblo? ¡Poco falta para que me apedreen!

Moïse cria à l'Éternel, en disant: Que ferai -je à ce peuple ? Encore un peu, et ils me lapideront.

So Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "What shall I do with this people? They are almost ready to stone me!"

Jaunak erantzun zion: -Pasa herriaren aurrealdera, eta hartu zeurekin zenbait herri-arduradun. Hartu eskuan Nilo ibaia jotzeko erabili zenuen makila, eta zoaz.

Jehová respondió a Moisés: -- Pasa delante del pueblo y toma contigo algunos ancianos de Israel; toma también en tu mano la vara con que golpeaste el río, y ve.

L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Passe devant le peuple, et prends avec toi des anciens d'Israël; prends aussi dans ta main ta verge avec laquelle tu as frappé le fleuve, et marche !

And the LORD said to Moses, "Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go.

Han izango nauzu ni, Horeb mendiko harkaitzean. Harkaitza jo eta ura sortuko da, herriak edan dezan. Hala egin zuen Moisesek, Israelgo arduradunen aurrean.

Allí yo estaré ante ti sobre la peña, en Horeb; golpearás la peña, y saldrán de ella aguas para que beba el pueblo. Moisés lo hizo así en presencia de los ancianos de Israel.

Voici, je me tiendrai devant toi sur le rocher d'Horeb; tu frapperas le rocher, et il en sortira de l'eau, et le peuple boira. Et Moïse fit ainsi, aux yeux des anciens d'Israël.

"Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink." And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

Il donna à ce lieu le nom de Massa et Meriba, parce que les enfants d'Israël avaient contesté, et parce qu'ils avaient tenté l'Éternel, en disant: L'Éternel est -il au milieu de nous, ou n'y est-il pas?

So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?"

Refidimen amalektarrek eraso zieten israeldarrei.

Después vino Amalec y peleó contra Israel en Refidim.

Amalek vint combattre Israël à Rephidim.

Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

Orduan, Moisesek esan zion Josueri: "Aukeratu zenbait gizon eta atera amalektarren aurka borrokara. Bihar muinoaren gainean zutik egongo naiz ni, Jainkoaren makila eskuan".

Y dijo Moisés a Josué: -- Escoge a algunos hombres y sal a pelear contra Amalec. Mañana yo estaré sobre la cumbre del collado con la vara de Dios en mi mano.

Alors Moïse dit à Josué: Choisis -nous des hommes, sors, et combats Amalek; demain je me tiendrai sur le sommet de la colline, la verge de Dieu dans ma main.

And Moses said to Joshua, "Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand."

Moisesek esan bezala egin zuen Josuek eta amalektarren aurka guduari ekin zion. Bitartean, Moises, Aaron eta Hur muinoaren gainera igo ziren.

So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

Y sucedía que cuando alzaba Moisés su mano, Israel vencía; pero cuando él bajaba su mano, vencía Amalec.

Lorsque Moïse élevait sa main, Israël était le plus fort; et lorsqu'il baissait sa main, Amalek était le plus fort.

And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

But Moses' hands [became] heavy; so they took a stone and put [it] under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Eta Josuek amalektarrak garaitu zituen eta ezpataz garbitu.

Y Josué deshizo a Amalec y a su pueblo a filo de espada.

Et Josué vainquit Amalek et son peuple, au tranchant de l'épée.

So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

Entonces Jehová dijo a Moisés: -- Escribe esto para que sea recordado en un libro, y di a Josué que borraré del todo la memoria de Amalec de debajo del cielo.

L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Écris cela dans le livre, pour que le souvenir s'en conserve, et déclare à Josué que j'effacerai la mémoire d'Amalek de dessous les cieux.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this [for] a memorial in the book and recount [it] in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven."

Moisesek aldarea eraiki zuen eta "Jauna, nire bandera" ezarri zion izen,

Luego Moisés edificó un altar, al que puso por nombre Jehová-nisi,

Moïse bâtit un autel, et lui donna pour nom: l'Éternel ma bannière.

And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner;

esanez: "Jaunaren errege-aulkiari eraso diotelako, menderen mendetan borrokatuko da Jauna amalektarren aurka".

diciendo: "Por cuanto la mano de Amalec se levantó contra el trono de Jehová, Jehová estará en guerra con Amalec de generación en generación".

Il dit: Parce que la main a été levée sur le trône de l'Éternel, il y aura guerre de l'Éternel contre Amalek, de génération en génération.

for he said, "Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD [will have] war with Amalek from generation to generation."

Jakin zuen Madiango apaiz eta Moisesen aitaginarreba zen Jetrok, Jainkoak Moisesen eta bere herriaren alde egin zuen guztia: nola atera zituen israeldarrak Egiptotik.

Oyó Jetro, sacerdote de Madián, suegro de Moisés, todas las cosas que Dios había hecho con Moisés y con Israel, su pueblo, y cómo Jehová había sacado a Israel de Egipto.

Jéthro, sacrificateur de Madian, beau-père de Moïse, apprit tout ce que Dieu avait fait en faveur de Moïse et d'Israël, son peuple; il apprit que l'Éternel avait fait sortir Israël d'Égypte.

And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people -- that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt.

Jetrok, Moisesen aitaginarrebak, etxean jasoak zituen Moisesek bere ondotik bidali zituen Tzipora emaztea

Entonces tomó Jetro, suegro de Moisés, a Séfora, la mujer de Moisés, después que él la envió,

Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,

with her two sons, of whom the name of one [was] Gershom (for he said, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land")

and the name of the other [was] Eliezer (for [he said,] "The God of my father [was] my help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh");
