Dr. Edurne TERRADILLOS ORMAETXEA

Professor University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

Edurne TERRADILLOS ORMAETXEA, born in Ordizia (Gipuzkoa-Spain) on 27 May 1971, is a Professor on Labour and Social Security Law and Vice Dean for Quality and Teaching Innovation in the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Law PhD from the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 1999. Since she started her University work she has taught in different doctorate programmes of the Department of Business Law and has taken part in ten research projects.

She is also the author of various scientific books and numerous research papers on subjects such as the business groups in Labour law, collective rights of workers, European collective bargaining, proportionality principle and disciplinary powers, employment policies and European social law.

She is currently directing a European thesis.

Dr. Alazne ODRIOZOLA LANDERAS

Professor University of Basque Country(UPV/EHU).

Alazne ODRIOZOLA LANDERAS, born in Mutriku (Gipuzkoa) on 16 December 1966, is Lecturer at the School of Labour and Social Security Law, and Law PhD from the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country since March 2007.

Since she started her teaching career in 1990 she has taught different subjects, both in Spanish and Basque, in the Law Faculty and in the School of Labour Relations of the University of Basque Country, of which she is a member. She is presently a lecturer in the Master in Employment Management and Human Resources and a member of its Academic Board. She has published various papers and has assisted in several publications. She is also the author of a textbook on the special labour relation of port stevedores and another on health protection for night shifts workers. Her main research area is the individual work relation, out of court dispute resolution and special work relations.

LLB Aranzazu FERNANDEZ

Associated University Lecturer University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

Arantzazu Begoña FERNÁNDEZ URRUTIA, born in Bilbao (Bizkaia - Spain) on 26 August 1966, LLB from the University of Basque Country in 1990, is assisting lecturer in the Department of Business law of the University of Basque Country, part of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, where she lectures on Labour and Social Security Law. She has published textbooks and academic papers on the obligations and responsibilities of corporations in the field of Social Security arising from employment contracts and their changes, and on the legal regulation of issues of protection of the Social Security and social inclusion policies. She is presently researching the impact of the productive decentralisation in labour conditions and the Social Security protection for workers.

LLB Santiago COLLADO

Lecturer at the University School of the University of Basque Country (UPV/EHU). 

Santiago COLLADO LUIS, born in Navasfrías (Salamanca-Spain), on 29 May 1957, is Lecturer at the School of Labour and Social Security Law. He has a law degree from the Law Faculty of the University of Basque Country. On his research side, he has taken part in six research projects. He is also the author of several academic papers on his areas of expertise, such as geographic movility, work hours, temporary contracts in public administrations, strike action rights, social protection of immigrants, labour administration and prevention of risks at work.

He has also taken part as a lecturer, inter alia, in university degrees and specialist Masters, such as the Master on Prevention of Risks at Work of the University of Basque Country and the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), and the Specialist Qualification on the Direction and Management of Health Centers.

He is presently a member of the Board of Editors of the Review of Companies Direction and Management.

Dr. Mª Elena GALDOS LOYOLA

PhD in Law and Professor of Employment Law at the University of the Basque Country (Universidad del País Vasco, UPV/EHU).

She has published various papers and taken part in international conferences presenting her position on different aspects of labour relations and social security social.

Visiting Fellow at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and Laval University of Quebec (Canada).

Presently, her main line of research is corporate responsibility arising from work accidents and risk prevention in the workplace, as well as other matters of labour court procedure.

LLB Sara LALLANA DEL RIO

Born in the Basque Country, 1969. Lecturer of Labour Law for the University of the Basque Country since 2006, her vision for the learning objectives and curriculum reflects her educational training: Master of Research at the European University Institute of Firenze (Italy) and stages at the International Labour Ofice(Geneve, Switzerland). In 2006 she hold the Basque Visiting Fellowship at the University of Oxford (U.K.) and is currently running the Oxford University Society at the Basque Country.

She has worked with clinicians both across the country and internationally by providing ongoing consultation and support with international institutions: Member of the Biscay Bar Assotiation (Spain), Member of the Pro-bono Committee on International Commercial Model Contracts for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (Geneve,Switzerland) and in 2013 has been appointed Independent expert to assist the European Commission in the field of Justice (Brussels)

She was appointed a Judge for the Court of Justice of the Basque Country in 2009 and quit to become an independent lawyer in 2013.

Dra Amaya Mtez de Viergol Lanzagorta

Profesora de Derecho del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social en la Facultad de Relaciones Laborales y Trabajo Social (Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea) donde he impartido docencia desde 1994, de Derecho del Trabajo, Seguridad Social, Derecho Sindical, Auditoría Socio-Laboral, Nóminas y Seguros Sociales por Ordenados, Resolución de Conflictos Colectivos y Planes de Igualdad. También he impartido docencia en el Master de Agentes de Igualdad, en un Curso de Estudios Complementarios sobre Planes de Igualdad, y sobre Planes de Igualdad en el Grado y en un Master de Recursos Humanos, así como en el Master de Abogacía. Doctora en Derecho; título de Agente de Igualdad y de Especialista Universitaria en Violencia de Género, etc....Mi tesis doctoral versó sobre la aplicación del enfoque de género y elaboración de Planes de Igualdad en el personal al servicio de la Administración de Justicia.

He sido Magistrada Suplente en el TSJ del País Vasco, y también he trabajado para una empresa de Consultoría diseñando y elaborando Planes de Igualdad en la Administración Públicas y empresas privadas, o elaborando informes para implementar normativa autonómica. He colaborado en diversos proyectos con EMAKUNDE (Instituto Vasco de la Mujer). Desde el año 2013, soy miembro en la Confederación Europea de los Sindicatos de la Educación del Grupo de Trabajo de Igualdad así como del Comité Permanente de Igualdad (2013-2017/2017-2010), Confederación en la que también fui miembro del Comité Permanente de Educación Superior e Investigación (2013-2017).Tengo unos 40 blogs especializados, pero sobre todo uno en el que suelo tratar estos temas (www.planesdeigualdad.blogspot.com ), y el matriz de todos ellos (www.amayamartinezdeviergol.blogspot.com)
