Join us
Our research group is involved in the formation of Graduates and Doctors. We
offer undergraduate and graduate opportunities to join the group as researchers
in different ways:
- Grade students. We have limited places for last year students of
Grades in Health Sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry) to
work in our group and learn the basic technics of a research laboratory. You
can contact us, better by e-mail, attaching the best enclosing the
form completed. It is important
that you indicate your daily time availability to reconcile classes with
these practices. July and September are typically available months to work
full time. IMPORTANT: There are Fellowships available to students in their
final year of the Degree offered by the
Baque Gobernment andl
MEC
or incorporation into partial-time research projects.
- Post-graduates and Bachelor graduates.
Our research lines are incorporated into the official PhD programs
"Molecular Biology and Biomedicine" and "Biomedical Research" and the
masters with the same name, all of them offered at the University of the
Basque Country, UPV/EHU, and where lecturers from our group participate.
Obtaining master's degree requires the completion of a short research
project (master final project), that after its defense leads to the
corresponding postgraduate degree. Those people interested that were
selected will join the laboratory under the supervision of a faculty member
of the group, and a specific project will be assigned for development within
the research lines of the team. If you are interested, you can contact the
group via e-mail.
- Doctoral Thesis. Doctoral thesis consists of a research project
with a duration of 3-4 years, leading to obtaining the title of PhD. If you
are interested in doing a doctoral thesis in our research group contact any
of the teachers of our group. You will be informed of the procedure to be
followed, as well as the possibilities and calls (Basque Government, UPV/EHU
and MEC) to acquire a predoctoral fellowship to finance your studies.
