Tourist Information
Weather: the weather in June is soft, usually moving from 13º to 23º. Not cold during the nights although a jacket or sweater is recommended. During the day, temperature is warm, perfect to visit the beaches. During June rain is unusual but storms coming from the sea may appear unexpectedly.
Currency & Tips: only Euros are accepted. But be sure to bring small notes (5€, 10€, maybe 20€) to pay the urban buses and make small expenses. There are many ATM all over the city. VISA and MasterCard are widely accepted in shops and restaurants (not in small bars and buses). AMEX is not popular. Tips are not necessary in hotels, taxis or restaurants. If anyway you want to tip any service, one euro per person is reasonable.
Plugs: We use European Union plugs. Remember to bring with you an adapter or you will not be able to use your computer and mobile chargers.
Security: The city is completely safe at any time and any place. But in touristic places do not leave you cameras or phones unattended; foreign pickpockets usually arrive to the city with the good weather. In the beach you may want to ask any person around you to look out your valuable items while swimming.
