Cancer cells´ initiation, evolution, progression and metastasis are influenced by a wide variety of factors. In our MIMASPEC group, we use an interdisciplinary strategy bringing together physicists, biologists, chemists, medical doctors to understand physics and mechanics behind cancer. The main focus of our work is to investigate the role that the free volume plays in living cancer cells´physics and mechanics.
