Bio

Ekai Txapartegi. PhD in Philosophy (University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU, 2004). I am Associate Professor at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science of the University of the Basque Country  (UPV/EHU). Currently, I teach Philosophy of Science and Introduction to Philosophy. Proficiency in Basque, Spanish and English. 
 
As a postdoc I joined the Philosophy department of the University of California, Berkeley, (Sept 2004 – Aug 2006) and the Instituto de Investigaciones Filosóficas of the UNAM, Mexico (Sept 2006 – Aug 2008).  
 
My research interests are mainly located in the intersection between culture and ontology, therefore my focus on some apparently unrelated topics such as the philosophy of colors or the performative character of some political representations.
