I obtained my BSc in Chemical Engineering (2017) and my MSc in Chemical Engineering (2018) at the University of the Basque Country, during which I started my research career at PROCAT-VARES group, working on hydroprocessing. Currently, I am working as a PhD Student in the University of the Basque Country as I was granted a fellowship by this university in 2019. My PhD Thesis is focused on the joint valorization of vacuum gasoil and non-olefinic plastics, with the aim of maximizing the production of automotive-like fuels and maximizing plastics waste that are otherwise poorly managed at their end-of-life. During the development of this work, I have acquired experience and knowledge on different areas such as research reactor experimentation, analytical techniques, kinetic modeling and hydrocracking mechanisms.
