Biografia

Nerea Villabona obtained her BA in English Studies in 2014 from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. She also holds an MA in Teaching in Secondary Schools, Vocational Training Centres and Language Schools from the International University of La Rioja (UNIR) and the European Master on Multilingualism and Education from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She obtained her doctorate degree in 2020 with her thesis entitled “Teaching and Learning through English: Classroom Strategies and Practices in CLIL / Ingelesa irakas-hizkuntza denean: irakasleen estrategiak eta ikasgelako praktikak CLILen”. Her research interests include Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and other forms of multilingual education, classroom interaction and translanguaging in multilingual settings.
