Biography
Alaitz Santos Berrondo, has a Bachelor’s degree in Infant and Primary Education with a specialization in foreign languages as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychopedagogy. In 2012 she got her Master’s degree in European Master in Multilingualism and Education (EMME). In 2017 she completed her PhD on Anxiety in Second and Third Languages: The Case of Adult Multilinguals from the Basque Autonomous Community in the faculty of Education, Philosophy and Anthropology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where she is currently working as a teacher. Her research area is socio-psycholinguistics and specifically the study of attitudes and anxiety in the acquisition of second and third languages. She is a member of the DREAM research group at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and coordinator of the EMME Master.
