Biography

Alaitz Santos works as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Anthropology of the UPV/EHU at the Department of Educational Sciences where she teaches both on bachelor (Pedagogy and Social Education) and master level. She has a “sexenio” and a “quinquenio” recognized and in the course 2021-22 she participated in the DOCENTIAZ call and she obtained the maximum score of 100 points. She is the coordinator of the 4th module of the Pedagogy bachelor and she is in the academic commission of the doctoral program Education: language, school and society. She has directed more than 30 Master and Bachelor theses, two doctoral thesis and she is currently directing two doctoral thesis in the field of Multilingualism. Alaitz Santos is member of the research group DREAM (Donostia Research on Education and Multilingualism) and member of the Inter-University Association of Pedagogical Research (AIDIPE). She has also been the responsible of the European Master on Multilingualism and Education during eight years.
