Martha Marquez
Bachelor Degree in Communication Sciences. MA and PhD in Philosophy of Science (National Autonomous University of Mexico - UNAM). Second Master degree in Philosophy, Science and Values (University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU).
Currently, I am studying for a second PhD at Philosophy, Science and Values Program (University of the Basque Country, UPV-EHU).
In my thesis I research how it is possible to incorporate the perspective of the RRI (Responsible Research and Innovation) framework -which refers to the development of science and technology ´with´ and ´for´ society (Horizon 2020 program)-, in a project on governance and biodiversity in Mexico. The idea is to understand how knowledge and innovation are produced and distributed according to the problems to be solved with the social environment, its commitments and complexities.
I combine the PhD research with my job managing research projects at the Research Seminar on knowledge society and cultural diversity, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and my life as mother.
My research interests also include: science and technology indicators and policy, science and society and knowledge management.
