Methodology

Students will complete 90 study credits, 45 of which correspond to compulsory subjects, 3 to electives, 30 to work placements and 12 to the Dissertation. Both the compulsory and elective subjects involve classroom-based teaching and practical work. They also involve educational activities such as: lectures, report production, reading, resource management, presentation and defence of projects, case studies and group work. The work placements will take place in public or private institutions. The Dissertation will consist of a scientific project conducted on any topic covered by the Master¿s courses. It will entail the completion, presentation and defence of a project demonstrating the knowledge and skills acquired during the Master's programme and should demonstrate professional and/or research skills related to prevention and psychological and psychosocial intervention activities to improve overall health.

Assessment

Student progress will be assessed by continuous assessment. Students must perform different tasks related to the different subjects on the curriculum, such as written examinations, tests, practical case studies, report drafting or public presentations. In addition, the writing up, presentation and oral defence of the Master's Dissertation will facilitate the assessment of the skills acquired during the Master.
