Nerea Jauregizar has a degree in Pharmacy (1997) and a PhD in Pharmacy from the UPV/EHU (2001). She has dedicated 25 years to data analysis and Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modelling. She began her professional experience in the company PharmaDatum Análisis de Datos (2002-2008), of which she was a founding partner, carrying out PK/PD analysis and modelling for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Professor of Pharmacology at the UPV/EHU since 2008, first as an interim lecturer, in 2009 as an assistant lecturer and since 2012 she has been an associate lecturer. She has taught Pharmacology in the Faculty of Pharmacy, and currently in the Faculty of Medicine, in the degrees of Medicine and Dentistry, and in the UPV/EHU master's degree "Pharmacology. Development, Evaluation and Rational Use of Medicines", in which he is responsible for the course "PK/PD applications in the development of medicines". He has three five-year teaching periods, three six-year research periods and has obtained an excellent rating in two calls for Docentiaz. She has participated in 29 research projects, has supervised 2 doctoral theses and is currently supervising another 3, has supervised 13 TFMs, is co-author of 27 scientific articles, 3 book chapters, university teaching material, and has presented more than 40 communications at congresses. She has been Academic Secretary of the Department of Pharmacology, and is currently Director of Social Dissemination of Research at UPV/EHU
