Methodology
The subjects of the Master's Degree are planned in such a way that they initially cover basic concepts related to smart grids and the DG, with further study of these topics and, finally, the application of the acquired knowledge to actual current problems faced by companies and technological centres. Each subject has lectures with the presentation of knowledge of concepts and methodologies, which are gradually acquired by means of practical sessions in the classroom, with computers and in the laboratory. The practical work also leads to the acquisition of transversal competences in communications, group work, etc.The last two compulsory subjects allow students to progressively link up with their internships and Master's Theses, performed in the third quarter, usually in companies and technological centres. It gives them the opportunity to begin to familiarize themselves with the specific problems of the companies and technological centres in the sector.Assessment
In most of the subjects, one part of the evaluation is continuous assessment and the rest is based on a final exam. The continuous assessment allows monitoring of how the students are acquiring the specific and transversal competences of the subject and the degree. This form of evaluation permits regular feedback on the evolution of the students' training and, if necessary, the teaching is partly adapted so that the acquisition of the competences becomes more efficient. As the skills to be acquired in each subject are different, as is logical, the evaluation procedures also vary from one subject to another. The procedures applied in each subject will be a combination of written exams, oral exams, practical work, presentations and essay questions.- Number of credits ECTS : 12
