It goes from the development of a new material or catalyst, to that of an innovative reaction system, from the design of a process equipment to the global analysis of a complete process, from the improvement of a conventional process to the development of new sustainable processes, etc.

Environmental Technologies

This area of knowledge is related to the prevention, detection, measurement, correction of the impacts that human activity has on the environment, both to the atmosphere and to the hydrosphere or soil. Thus, it studies from new technologies to correct or mitigate polluting emissions, including methodologies for their measurement, to the design of equipment or facilities for their capture, recycling or inerting, or the design of processes that are more respectful with the environment.
